Naughty November next Steve and City away Spurs at home for starters.
Big games for the team huge games for Xhaka Ramsey plus the defence. Xhaka can't afford to make costly mistakes in either and his partnership with Ramsey will be make or break plus 2 big big tests for our defence and character.
2 wins would send everyone into positivity frenzy that's for sure.

Gunner november is massive in every way gunner. Bury the november hoodoo and we are deep in a fight again. Do our usual nasty november and we are deep in trouble again.

Ok Dags but didn't we have to show character against everton after letting in the first goal again. Plus we did boss them when they had 10 men. Lol.

Big shout for the England u17 world champions 2 0 buy came back to lift the trophy 5 2.
England are now world champions at u17 u19 and u20 level, ok it may come to nothing at senior level but the future hasn't looked so full of real promise since? Ever before.

Didn't France then Spain who were annual under performers pretty much like ourselves start from the younger teams success before going onto both becoming simultaneously being world and European champions at senior level.
I'm not saying it will happen but I'm sure there were plenty of doubters in France in the early 90s and Spain around 2004 time.

So, apparently you are in crisis whilst Spurs are the real deal yet here you are just a point behind them. It's a funny old game isn't it are you boys feeling any more positive now?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2017 19:04:53
That's the reality of it AJH. I've been pointing it out for the past two years when spurs fans are getting excited. It shows the mentality of the two sets of supporters when one set jump around like they have won the champions league and finish a few points above their rivals for the first time in nearly quarter of a decade whilst not winning a thing and we're all suicidal because we're a point behind and only won the crappy FA cup lol.

I recall a time in the not so distant past where you (NES/ Duhwayne) made a huge deal out of a grammatical error I made. In fact, you milked it for a good half hour in the chat.

Imagine my surprise when you dropped this little gem on us:
"it's not like you've why football like United once did, EVER. "

Say what? But don't worry; I'm not going to ridicule you over it. I'm pretty sure you'll just say something like, "I was typing on a really small phone".

Good win today, let in first again after opposition had very little possesion, not good. Lacca got 80 minutes today, he must feel honoured. Big game in the league next, city must be licking their lips at our defence. Looking forward to the game, a biggy.

Spurs play, without Harry Kane, and don't score.

What a fix. It's impossible.
What's the odds that would happen? 😁.

This one is a little easier to work out and I have the formula.

Thfc-HK (Awayfix+inferioritycomplex) *2=Averagenogoals-3.

It is in some ways sweeter that spurs have this great team that no one but spurs fans will remember! You can imagine in a London pub 2031 spurs fan to local ' hey you remember that great spurs team of 2017!' Local 'no I don't! Didn't Arsenal win the FA cup that year? ' Lol.

On the subject of cup draws I think they should seed the fa cup 3rd round draw where the lowest ranked 20 clubs are guaranteed to draw a premier league team.
Should a team from lower non league football make it all the way to the 3rd round they are dreaming of old Trafford the Emirates Anfield ect rather than a fellow non league club or league 2 opposition.
I think seeding the 3rd round would suit everyone plus bring real excitement as most probably 1 or 2 premier league teams would in fa cup tradition come unstuck.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

28 Oct 2017 12:53:48
Ridiculous post. Why should it benefit the top teams and the lower rank teams? It's an open draw which is what makes the fa cup special.

Agree7 Disagree0

28 Oct 2017 13:20:40
After 8 to 10 qualifying games just to make the 3rd round of the FA cup no team from the 9th tier of the football pyramid is dreaming of an away draw at Plymouth Peterborough or Preston Olber they dream of drawing Arsenal Utd City Chelsea and a day the players fans and club will never forget, I personally think they have earned the right to their dream day for getting so far already.
Arsenal v Chelsea is played at least twice a season almost every season but Manchester United v Bognor Regis is a once in a lifetime event that makes the fa cup so different from the bread and butter league programme.
Arsenal dream of Wembley in May while Bedford town dream of Liverpool in January.

We all have dreams mate, 20 of those games every year would take the exciting out of the cup straight away.
