Guys there's no real easy way to break this to you and I hope you'll all go easy on him because he must have been coerced into doing it, probably by the nasty 007 but ed025 has been editing the United page.

I know he won't have done it of his own free will so go easy on him, it must have been traumatic enough to read some of that drivel as it is.

My thoughts and prayers are with him at what must be a very difficult time for him knowing his friends and family have disowned him.

God bless you ed025, stay strong mate, you can come back from this ;-)

{Ed025's Note - i feel like darth vader..the door to the dark side opened and i walked straight through red dog.. :)

ED25 actually held a press conference yesterday to explain the move and said the following - 'In these situations, when you have to make a hard decision in your life, I always listen to that little boy inside me. What does he want? That boy was screaming for Manchester United.'

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - love that rosie..

29 Apr 2015 15:57:28
It will be extremely interesting to see if the injury situation has been turned round at the club, as we only have one player, the Ox, injured.
With 3 or 4 clever signings next season and a reduction in the usual injury problems we have witnessed, we could have a fantastic season.

iv seen rosicky mentioned alot. i'm a big fan. when he's on form he's better than ozil in my book.

but he's been here nearly 10 years and missed so many games. throughout his career he has and i'm telling you now wilshere will always be the same. so if either leave we move on and get stronger

Believable2 Unbelievable0

29 Apr 2015 14:11:23
i'd never want rosicky to leave, but he wants to play and at his age it won't be at arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 15:55:41
Yea yea to you anyone is better than ozil who can run. Seriously get over it, he is a great guy but doesn't fit in the team.

I posted a few weeks ago asking if anyone knew about future first teamers in the academy, and now I'm wondering if anything plans on changing in the youth setup? Young players never seem to come through anymore. We bought chambers, oxlade, gnabry, bellerin. The only ones recently that have come through have been Wilshere, le Coq and gibbs, the later two being bought also!

We seem to have some players in the academy that have potential and do get the odd appearance, zelalem and Hayden most noticeable.

Is the youth setup in an unhealthy way? Why do hardly any players come through anymore? And if it is in a bad way, is there any plans to rejuvenate it soon? Any replies would be appreciated thanks guys!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - for me akie its the same the world over mate, fans clubs and owners want instant success and are not prepared to gamble on young guys who may need time, you do get the odd one like rooney but im afraid it does not happen enough..

29 Apr 2015 11:53:01
For me the biggest issue Arsenal and many teams have is the gap between reserve football and premier league is too huge. Players can't develop in the reserve leagues.

The other option is to send them out on loan. Loans are good things, they teach footballers how to play against men, be more professional and get them much needed experience. But it doesn't get them ready for premier league football. Young players come back from loans still on the same point in their careers. Still trying to break in to the first team but a little more experienced.

For me the Spanish model is the best you are going to get. From a young age players are getting competitive game time in their B teams. Giving them the platform to make the jump quicker. Because of that more teams in la liga look to loan players from Barcelona and real B teams. Because of that they get exposed to la liga football earlier in their career. Likes of akpom have to head into the championship to get some level of decent football because he just doesn't have enough experience for a premiership to take a gamble. He will come back next season still not ready for first team football for arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 12:20:11
I'm not a big fan of the B teams playing in the championship but as you say noodles it does seem to work in Spain very well.
Im not sure how you introduce it without costing the teams in league 2 their football league status but maybe regional devide would be the answer with a league 2 North and South and 5 teams promoted each season 1st and 2nd in their regions plus 3rd and 4th going into a national play off for the last promotion spot.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 14:23:30
there will be B teams when the Pan european league is on its way.

no time to train anyone at the big boys, and they will use the other leagues and teams as their pawns.

sort of like madrid do now with spurs and Manchester United and barca do with arsenal and liverpool. the dream is to one day have our own and take their established players...hahah

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - lets just hope it never happens lakes...it will be the death of the game imo..

29 Apr 2015 19:39:18
Just like the big supermarkets and banks who considered them self's unstoppable footballs bubble will burst too Ed, taking your customers for granted and treating them with disrespect will eventually be your downfall, always has done in the past and always will do in the future

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

29 Apr 2015 09:19:28
Hy eds

According to Cadena SER and Cadena COPE, Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid will be transfer banned. I checked on the RM and the European page and it seems dead. None asked about it. Can i ask here or should i still post there if you know anything about the situation regarding the bans, or is it just fabricated?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid do fear a ban and have put a proposal to UEFA - it is nothing to do with Arsenal and this is not the page to discuss it.}

29 Apr 2015 14:24:32
can you imagine madrid getting a 2 year ban? after that ban they would have accumulated enough money to buy a club instead of a player.

the apocalyse is near

I donno how long I've known this place, but I read post from Metal, U.S Gunner, Jenny Taylor, Goldboy, Flybo......and I remember Mr. D and D's bet on M'vila.

Maybe Dags decided to post under one name or couldn't outwit 025 anymore. Great place people, great eds, one family.

025, G62 and 337 thinks Dags and jokes can't be in the same sentence. I'll learn not to comment only because I have no number in my name.

{Ed025's Note - we love our dags epping...like an old uncle who farts at dinner and the rest of the family just smile.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - too much information there epping mate.. :(

29 Apr 2015 08:55:46
II see the transfer season is starting...:)

IMO selling Wilshere or Rosicky is crazy, when we don't need to.

Diaby, Arteta, Jenkinson, Campbell, podolski and sir chez can all go.

I'd like Reus as he can play anyway in the front line.

I'd like Schneiderlin

Lloris but won't happen, cech also unlikely, but someone at that level in goal.

Then I think we are set

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Apr 2015 09:08:01
I would only sell Jack if the offer was to good to refuse and 30 million if true is just that to me.
At the start of the season I said let's give him a real chance to prove himself one way or the other and to be fair he was doing OK before he got injured not brilliant but ok.
If city are crazy enough to pay that sort of money for a player who is still only potentially brilliant and most difinately injury prone I don't think we should match their state of mind by refusing it. city signed Sinclair Johnson Rodwell so there may well be truth in this rumour.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - they only need sturridge for the set.. :)

29 Apr 2015 09:28:29
I must admit Ed some of their buys are strange, they pay big money for potential but never give it a real chance so why bother in the first place.
Let Jack go now and buy him back in two years time for a fraction of the price and we'll just have to cope without him in the 5 games he would have been fit for in that time :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 09:33:29
we have plenty of players to sell before we start thinking of selling wilshere.

my thinking is, we need a lot of money for a transfer of a super quality player, yes i would sacrifice wilshere, but if there is nothing in the works, i do not see a need to sell such a player, he has quality just not starting quality at the moment.

Rosicky, flamini, arteta, replaced by Schneiderlin, and Poldi, campbell, sanogo, wellington, replaced by fekir and hopefully we have enough to go around and get a GK, ST and a CB

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - asking a lot there lakes..

29 Apr 2015 10:08:00
Its the money and what we could do with it that makes me want to sell Larker, 30 million for a player we've never really had and even when he is available he's hardly been consistently good. 10 mil no way but 30 I'd take it and if they want to make it a 50 million double swoop for Theo too so much the better.
We could get players who have proven themselves for that kind of money rather than keep hoping others will eventually come good.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 10:32:09
Who needs wilshere? We've got Dan 'the man' Crowley coming through!

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 14:27:33
i know ed025, the idea is if you want to be greedy go all the way and don't settle for a few millions. that's why politics is the game to be. you don't want to be corrupt you want to be bunga bunga corrupt.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - spoken like a true politician lakes..

29 Apr 2015 16:36:45
What part of ospina's record is giving everyone such concern that we need to bring in superstar instead of a capable number 2. I like the guy, all he does is win and therefore so do we… just sayin'

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 06:25:03
We need to push on and finish the season with an FA Cup win and secure second place.
In the summer we should sell/release: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Flamini, Arteta, Diaby, Podolski, Miyaichi, Rosicky, Campbell & Sanogo.
In addition, if Walcott won't extend his contract, we should cash in by selling him.

We should buy:
Keeper: Cech or Llloris
DM: Schneiderlin & Kondogbia
AM: Pedro & Reus or Sterling (if Walcott goes)

We would then have a squad for next season capable of challenging for the top honours.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

29 Apr 2015 08:40:16
Why get rid of Rosicky? The rest can go, i'm fond of podolski so hope he goes somewhere in the prem. Reus for Walcott I'd take, otherwise hope he stays

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2015 08:58:51
I wouldn't be so quick to dump Jenks as he has done really well at west ham this season and is high on their list for player of the year, oh and he's just equaled the seasons fastest speed on the pitch of 35 kilometres an hour.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - usain bolt would win that competition G62, but i would not want him in my side either..

29 Apr 2015 09:12:08
Back of the shed :-) but what does bolt know about football Ed? He's a man u fan after all.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - fair point mate..
