who thinks arsenal will win silverware next
season

Good optimism everyone. Way to keep the spirits up.

Arsenal to win fa cup and finish second in the league next year. There is really not that much between second and sixth. And we have the most improvement in us.

If we grab jovetic, wayanma and a cb in the summer transfer window, then after their "gel in" season we will push on further the following one and be real title contenders.

Just watched the NextGen game. Lost 4-3 in extra time.

3/4 players too look out for lads

Serge Gnarby - Amazing talent and so young. He reminds me off 'THE OX' but dare I say better.

Hector B- Great talent, Barca missed a trick! He's insane, great going forward and backwards.

Elsfield-Brought him for dirt cheap. Usually a really good player but had a poor game today, dissapointed with him today. (tbh)

Akpom-This kid just bangs in goals for fun! I would give him a chance on the bench. He's better then most of out 2/3 rate stikers Eg. Benik Afobe, Criminaldner, Park Chu Young etc.

I thought Yenarris was empressive in the first half too. Sad to think most of these youngsters will not get half the chances the likes of Denilson and Bendtner got.

Shame a bit more luck and we would of gone through but I do agree with your 4 choices I also thought ansah did well as well when he came on

Yen was decent in the later stages of the game however he's not prem quality. NPower his max club for example Brighton, Mid etc

He scores 12 goals because he was injured one month. And Also because he is not the central striker.

After Pires has allegedly said we need a core of British players in the team, would anyone else like to see us sign fraser forster, Ashley Williams, Nathaniel Clyne and possibl. Defoe for a couple of seasons? Or is it just me?

Don't quite understand that, the main English invincible's was Cole, Campbell and Parlour. The other English players didn't play that much like Keown.

We have had regulars this season in Walcott, Wilshere, Gibbs with Jenkinson playing a lot and occasionally the OX.

You have absolutely lost the plot, williams is a welsh international (fair enough born in england), jenkinson a capped ENGLISH international right back is in our ranks, defoe plays for our biggest rivals and is too old (also we have theo another ENGLISH international). Personally don't think forster is good enough for arsenal and I am a celtic fan as well as arsenal fan so I wach him every week

Just read in the sun Robert pires moaning about arsenal and saying the difference between arsenal when he was there and now is they had a English core in the team. He says that we need to buy experienced English players in the summer. My problem is what English players do you buy

1. that would Want to come to arsenal because if they are at arsenals level they are properly at a big club.

2. If they want to come to arsenal are they going to improve the team. I mean Liverpool for the last few season have been buying English players that are on the verge of playing for England or are in and out of the squad and look where they are.

For me it's all good saying buy English players but I personally don't think for what arsenal need to get them up to the next level and the sort of English talent that is around it ain't going to help us reach it.

The only English player at the moment that I would buy if he does become available in the summer is Rooney.

I wouldn't have rooney,, but the onlt decent englishmen I think we could attainn would be richards. Plus we already have an english core and in 2-4 years they will be the core of england aswell!
