luis suarez. oh if only, if only, if only.
that man is definitely the missing piece in the arsenal jigsaw. what a team we would be if he was also a gooner

Believable0 Unbelievable0

DG we have enough injury problems, the last thing we need is someone running round the training ground trying to give every one rabies. So glad we didn't sign him or rooney.

Agree0 Disagree0

G62 point taken because the bloke is 2 slices of bacon short of a fry-up but, he is bloody class mate and he knows where the back of the net is. total nutcase but if he was at arsenal at least he wouldn't bite any of our players,

Agree0 Disagree0

Who needs suarez when we have Ramsey ha ha. top scorer in the league at mo. surely worth a punt for still being there at the end of the season ; )

Agree0 Disagree0

DG. couldn't agree with you more. Despite his well documented (on field!) problems, like you I believe Saurez would have made us unstoppable.

I don't think the Italian league is as strong as some posters are making out, yes Napoli have spent the cash, but they should be afraid coming to our stadium.
I think we will win with Ozil and Ramsey shining.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Been thinking the same, apart from Milan all the teams they've played in the league have been poor and they beat a ten man Dortmund, they are a good side but I'm not to worried about them. I hope don't regret saying that.

My predication for Tuesday is 2 - 2 so anyone having a bet please for the good of your wealth avoid this score.

And anyone thinking surely he has to call one right one day, it has to be worth a punt! A WARNING!!

There are people who once lived in very nice houses with lovely family's who thought like that, and they now live alone in tents by the side of the road :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

My prediction is that gunner62 never gets a prediction correct. give it up G62 lol how I wished I was your bookie (smiles)

Agree0 Disagree0

If you was DG I would ask you if I could pitch my tent on your Caribbean island and for a lift to it to in your private jet, after all if I knew what I was talking about the boot could have been on the other foot :-) I'd have done the same for you mate, honest

Agree0 Disagree0

3-1 arsenal my prediction

Agree0 Disagree0

G62 mate you would be my guest of honour lol. everything on the house for you my friend

Nice to see some of the "Unpopulars" doing extremely well this year - Rambo, Per, Giroud etc

Well done boys - think everyone is behind you now

Great starts to the new campaign

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Do you think Gervinho left too soon?

Haha don't care either way, just glad the players we have are performing

Don't spoil all the fun and optimism by mentioning the forehead, he's happy in italy and I'm happy he's in italy . simples.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell you what though, he scored an absolute cracker today for roma. never did that at arsenal though

Whilst I do think we have had a good start to the season,

We need to keep our feet on the ground.

Things are going well, which is great, but the last thing we need is people talking about us winning the title.

It only takes one loss before everyone starts calling for Wengers head again.

The players can't get ahead of themselves now. They need to stay grounded, humble and keep doing what they're doing. It seems to be working.

We have a big couple of months coming up, we haven't even played Manchester Utd, City, Chelsea or Liverpool yet.

The mancs will pick up points, we need to do the same and take full advantage of their lost points against the so called 'easier teams'.

We need to keep our foot on the pedal and keep this run going. The season is long, and hopefully we can keep our players fit, we have a very thin squad at the moment. Hopefully with the return of Cazorla, Podolski, Chamberlain, Diaby, Arteta, Vermaelen etc. we will start to see some more competition for places. Strength in depth wins you titles.

Keep going lads, we're doing well.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed, it's unbelievably early to start talking about the title. Let's wait til we've played the top teams before getting ahead of ourselves!

But I do believe we are seeing a newer side to this team and we're not so much one trick ponies any more. And to be honest with you, the fact that we have the quality of youth that we can play an 18yr old boy at right wing and he's one of our best players on a day where we weren't exactly bad, and against a very good team indeed, really is amazing! Before this season I was very worried because last year Gnabry looked like he'd need a fair while before being ready (like Ryo) but he's going to be pushing Theo and The Ox hard come the end of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on, completely agree- great start/recovery (after the villa game)- but must not get full of ourselves at all- a very, very long way to go.

Things could change in the next 5-10 games very easily.

But looking promising, so far.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ummm not sure in with you on this one lads, the tittle is a big ask and while we should not be thinking of our self's as favourites we shouldn't do our self's down either.

We have a great self belief that's growing all the time and so is the level the players expect of them self's and each other.
We have some real talent out injured and other years they would walk straight back in to the team but now!
Utd City Chel are all under going big changes and while we shouldn't underestimate others we shouldn't be afraid to believe in us

Another good win. Now roll on Napoli!
they will set up defensively and try to counter us. so this could be where Ozil will shine threading the ball for Giroud to score. but his finishing has to be better than his couple of woeful attempts at Swansea.
Lets show Higuain what he missed out on.
2 -1 to the Gunners on Tues night

Next up, our biggest test, Napoli, feet are firmly on the ground 6 games in.

This game is where we are going to miss probably for the first time the likes of Cazorla, Podolski, The Ox, Walcott and Rosicky.

The ability to rotate like for like. We'll no doubt go unchanged on Tuesday and it's going to be a tough game.

Defensively is our biggest difference, Flamini really is making a difference. Yesterday is where I used to cack myself waiting for the other team to get an equaliser but we are a different animal now. It was a great win, Swansea are no push over.

It's going to be a great season, I'm not really sure any of the current top 6, including us are even in full flow yet, City's destruction of Utd aside.

It's a fantastic start, we look together and we actually look hard to beat.

I said this again last year during the 2nd half of the season, it seems AW has transformed us into an attacking machine that is efficient in its utilisation of chances. A couple of years back we would create sae 20 or so chances in a game and just convert 2-3 but now it seems we create less and score more. I hope I'm not the only 1 who has noticed this.

The team is just so balanced and so composed even under pressure we just don't rush the ball into the other teams half. I tell you this team does remind me a bit of dare I say "The invincibles" not quality wise (but we really are just 2-3 players off), but I mean mentally.

AW has done it again folks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When arsenal where at there best (winning things)they where a counter attacking team and where tough to break down, then AW fiddled with the team and went more towards the barca (high pressing high tempo)style. now he seems to have the team playing a bit of both styles in a more ballanced, measured way.no more sounding the trumpet and every body charge forward forgeting to defend sort of thing.hmm I wonder if steve bould has had anything to do with it, its defo working

Has anyone noticed that Ramseys playing style is very very similar to Wisheres .! Many a time when I watch Arsenal on the TV I think it is Wilshere with the ball but it is Ramsey.
The way he runs, kicks, and passes etc. I'm wondering if this is a coincidence or has he been told to emulate Jacks playing style in training and that is why he has been doing so well this season. Strange . and no I don't need to go to Specsavers ha ha.

Gnarby what a talent!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seriously! People knew he was good, but he's played great against Stoke, west brom and Swansea and deservedly got himself a goal for the performances.

Well done Serge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Serge and Ramsey were stand outs today. Wilshire is slowly getting into the rythm too, with him and Ozil only to get better this season looks something to look forward to.
