Got to say soc and kos were immense again today, makes a difference when you have good players to play at CB. Myki is becoming a little star and I've got to say monreal did ok today as well.

Welsh xhaka was ok today, i honestly didn't think he stood out over, soc kos kos ramsey gouendouzi torrera or myki but apart from 3 silly fouls he did ok. He wasn't anyway standout.

Sy, i'm sure given a bit of luck with injuries and a couple of defensive additions, we will be fine. Injuries and reliance on players who can't hack it too much, we will struggle.

On the BBC player rater Xhaka was rated Arsenal's 10th best player behind Mustafi in 11th place of the starting 11.
Again Xhaka has a brand of magic only a few can see.

He divides 98% who struggle to see anything special in him at all and the 2% who really do think he's a class act that has a huge influence on games Steve, I genuinely can't see it and I really have looked and looked to see what the 2% see without success.

Banbury we are obviously in the 98% and both Dick and Arsene in the 2%.
To me it's incredible that he started ahead of Torreira and Maitland Miles but the results make it difficult to argue to with Dicks selection when it goes well but easy target when it goes badly.

Welsh, have you tried specsavers. If he ran midfield, i'm mr universe. He was a 6 out 10 and again had to resort to petulant fouls. One he should have been booked the other he was and the other kane scored an offside goal and was luckily chalked off, from the silly foul. I just don't get all this xhaka love in. I want us to improve, i'm sure we will when we can replace him. he's awful but we didn't get beat today so i won't knock his performance. i'm sorry but i just don't think he is prem quality, let alone top 6, i just think he is a donkey. I hope he runs the midfield for us next weekend though but i won't be hilding my breath, just in case he does. Lol.

I just don't understand Emery, what on earth was he doing with that team selection. No tactics, and the goal we let in, what on earth was he doing, playing offside. Why did he let auba take that penalty and then let vertonghen who was in the box by 5 yards, when auba took his Penalty, then his bad tactics let an illegal vertongen clear a sitter off the line. The man hasn't a clue! No progress at all! We were lucky to get a point today. weren't we Sy.

Nice try Steve but sadly the hapless clown continues to play Mustafi and he once again is the nugget who gave away the needless penalty. The sooner Mavropanos takes his place the better.

They are on a poor run, once again they’ve bottled it and we can secure a win or keep a clean sheet.

But yeah everything is fabulous and none of the halfwits fault.

It’s a decent point to be honest

Mustafi remains a mystery to me more so now I’ve heard him say I don’t mind conceding as long as we win? A true defender always wants a clean sheet, still he will be gone in the Summer.

Ed, you may or may not have noticed for a few months now sy and me have been having a dig at each other, banter, dig, whatever you want yo call it, my initial post was a light hearted ironic post done in fun with a LoL at the end of it. We have been playing dig tennis for months and i'm sure it will go on. We respect, that we don't agree and we have been having a phoney war for years.

I'm not deliberately pouring water on your bright flame Welsh mate but Liverpool could only draw with this injury hit United and Palace couldn't contain them.
Ole United should not be taken lightly and I'm sure they will come with there usual Arsenal game plan that saw then beat us with only one established defender available and no CBS at all under lvg.
It will be difficult mate no doubt about that.
