PS Tomas Rosicky played a very good game for me. He brings a directness to our midfield play that noone else can master!

Dead right Rue- TR is a terrific player, pity he's has such a bad time with injuries, when he's fit he's a real handful.
I thought passing was really sharp and when we went through the gears we troubled them each time. Don't want to jinx but I thought that was comfortable, Arteta really proved that he should be in the starting 11

Last year sagna was awful. He's got back to his best. Well done
Sagna is Arsenal's weak link, he is too interested in attacking, he got caught too far forward in the first half and Henderson had a free run on goal. Where was he for Dortmunds 2nd goal, he is a defender and needs to remember that
He is told to attack mate, he creates attacking with which creates space for the midfield.
I do agree the amount of good positions he gets in to cross is amazing, it's just a shame he's crossing is as good as his choice of hairstyle

A very professional game: 2 great goals and a clean sheet.
We kept their strikers quiet without Flamini, which we all knew meant Arteta had to put in a huge performance.
I don't see Liverpool as a top 4 team, over the 38 games I can see it being between Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal; if we are still playing with confidence at Christmas then I think we will go into the new year as strong contenders.
Ozil looked tired today, but we can't afford to rest him- at 90% he is still so creative.
I'd now take a draw against Dortmund and a win (and clean sheet) at Old Trafford. I can see Southampton the next game being stronger tougher than Man Utd.
P.s. I just read about Munich equaling the league record of 36 matches unbeaten. 36? Is that it?!

What more can you say about Rambo? Did you see the way he composed himself for that goal? He would never have done that a year ago. What I also love about the boy is he is Arsenal through and through, he will never leave arsenal. (fingers crossed lol)

absolutely ecstatic. good but not great performance and a great result against a team bang in form. I thought kos was brill today, he did what he had to do, no fussing about just clear it.
Do you know it wasnt until the 89th minute that I realised jack wasnt playing, shows how well the boys played, well done lads. bloody ecstatic

Best performance I've seen in long time. that has to be ourstrongest midfield. Lacks in pace but my god the ball control, movement and vision shared between Rosicky, cazorla, Ramsey, Arteta and Ozil is peerless. Made Liverpool look average when they're very clearly not - it's clear against us if you play less than 5 in midfield it's suicide.
Great match. Great performances all round. Great result.
Reckon we'll beat the mancs next week. It's about time we got something up there.

Our best midfield, however I would drop rosicky for walcott, he gives us something different. However I am very happy with rosickys performances of late.

a really great performance- Everyone played at top level and two cracking goals sealed it. Defence really did fantastically well- LFC only really got scraps and Shez absolutely swallowed them all up.

Great performance!
Arteta played really well. One of his best defensive performances. Kosielny what can you say. Rosicky, Cazorla and what a goal by Rambo.
I'll be having words with Giroud over his chip shot, but overall his work ethic and bringing players in to play has earned him the right to be rewarded.

Good afternoon my fellow Gooners.
Really looking forward to the game. Its going to be who can outscore the other, would be really surprised if there was less than 3 goals and any clean sheets. The Sturridge-Suarez combo is working wonders for them, but it comes at a price and they are leaking goals at the back. Scoring is also our forte, Ramsey and Giroud are banging them in at the moment. Shame we are misding Flamin, the game hinges on how Arteta plays, someone already mentioned this it is completely true. If he can cut off supply from Coutinhio and Gerrard itll be hard for them to score. I really hope Mingolet doesn't have a awesome game, too mamy times have keepers come to the Emirates and played absolute blinders.
Im going for 4-3 to us (Crazy, I know). I do think we will edge it because we have a better defence. Sturridge, Suarez, Giroud, Cazorla and Arteta all to score.
I do feel however we can't win this one with the media. If we lose itll be the old "cant beat the big teams" if we win the itll be "Liverpool aren't a big team, wait till we play City, Bayern, Barca, Brazil. ".
No disrespect to LFC fans I think you are real contenders this season, and I would love for you to finish top 4 at the expense of Spurs, City or United. So good luck for this season, but not today. And if you could sell us Suarez and Agger that would be great ;)

It´s been some years since I´ve been this nervous about a clash against Pools.It´s all about the midfield today, if we don´t close down their buildup play from Gerrard and co we can go down really bad.On the other hand we have scored a lot of goals this year on the counterattack and at times we have played a fantastic football.My prediction for today is that Cazorla and Giroud put one each in the net and Suarez get an easy penalty.2-1 hopefully.This is the games we´ve been waiting for.

Apparently we have taken fewer points this season apposed to the same fixtures last year, really?
22 from a possible 27 and we are on a downward spiral? We must have been good last year then, just a shame I can't remember it.
I have no recollection of us being top at any point last year, all I remember is a mad last minute run to make 4th spot in our last 10 games nicely papering over many cracks.
