Just for fun.

If I said to you 4 minutes 33 seconds, what springs to mind?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - I've got 4 kids and smoke.}

The time it takes us to be 2 down against top 3 away from home :-) am I right DG, am I, am I?

Agree0 Disagree0

Has to be Fowlers hat trick!
Dags, I'm beginning to wonder about you!

Agree0 Disagree0

Robbie Fowler hatrick against arsenal.
Ps I'm a Liverpool fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Not even close 003, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not doing it twice!

Agree0 Disagree0

You are possibly correct G62 but hat's off to the Scouse boys.

It was Fowlers hat-trick, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

4 minutes for a smoke?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - I smoke slowly.}

Robbie Fowlers hatrick against Arsenal fastest hatrick in the premier league .
Or the time it takes Bendtner to put his shirt on .

Agree0 Disagree0

Last session with the missus

Agree0 Disagree0

The time it takes Per to run the length of the pitch?

Can I just say a big thank you to all the Liverpool supporters who come on here to say "Thank You".

Top of the table, riding the crest of a wave, playing great football, scoring for fun, but they still take the time to pop over and say thank you.

Class.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well they got some big games. its in their hands now.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is also in M Citys hands

Agree0 Disagree0

You're doing it again Dagenham. Have you ordered your half and half scarf in the hope of reaching Wembley; the one says Liverarse: PL winners and Arsepool : FA Cup losers?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2014 19:12:47
Well we sorted Spurs out for you.

Now you need to sort Everton out at the weekend so that we can both look up and stop looking over our shoulders.

Chelski have blinked and you have shown that Citeh are not supermen.

Keep the faith and we can both still have a great season.

Brendan and Arsene are the best two coaches in the league in that they want their teams to play football that we fans want to watch.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Were on the march. coyb

Agree0 Disagree0

I was just popping over myself just had me sunday dinner nice to have roast spurs twice in 1 day you just need to get a win next week I think you will have too much for everton if they play like they did for most of the game today I can only see 1 winner and you put them to the sword in the fa cup at the Emirates I know but the team know it can beat everton

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank you boys. Great win for you today, I so enjoyed it, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Brenden and wenger best two coaches! haha I've never read so much dribble! let them try and get chelsea in a title challegne with no striker like jose has! chelsea strikers have 15 prem goals between them! suarez and sturridge have more by themselfs

Agree0 Disagree0

Pinky Mate arsenals striker Giroud has been as bad as your strikers perhaps even worse than Eto
As for us Brendan has been forced to work with a pretty shaky defense and loads of injuries And to remind you we have spend probably one tenth thqn chelsea. Have over the last ten years

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha giroud has been as bad! BUT still has as many goals as chelsea strikers have put together! jose best manager! fact

Agree0 Disagree0

And stop banging on bout money because if money was a thing u wouldn't of got knocked out by oldham in the fa cup last year! so stop making that an issue

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody's denying mate that jose is one of the best managers in the world if not the best
But you got to see other's view point based on current form rodgers has been better
Mate games like oldham happen
There is no point in bringing those games up to prove a point
What's is in the past is gone focus on the present and the fact now is that we are on a hell of a roll and you just lost to palace

Just nipped on to thank you guy's for your support over the past few month's
I said a while ago if we could not win it, and at the time I did not think we could, I wished that you guy's could.
Your result yesterday has certainly opened it up for us and left destiny in our own hands.
So to Dags, G62, Jenny and the rest of you.
From the bottom of my heart.
THANK YOU.
Dare to dream?

I'm genuinely excited for you all, you too have been great all season. I wish we had been able to hang in there and take it to the death.

Watched the game today and for the obvious reasons it was a pleasure.

So for yourself, Tommy, Sizemick (who is incredibly polite), Simonpw, Ken, Kens pants and the rest I hope it's you that take the title.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Jen xx

Agree0 Disagree0

Terri Taylor "Aka Jenny"

If only my previous 5 wives felt the same!

Keep believing I say Terri as you never know where 18 more points may get you .

I understand your household has a majority Liverpool share-holding, so my best wishes extend to you, and my fellow reds your looking out for.

Happy mothers day.

Kind Regards

Agree0 Disagree0

Gents.

I think Jen pretty much summed it up.

All the best for the rest of the season.

Cheers Jenny, Dags, 62 and all the rest of the great Arsenal fans.

I love you all from the bottom of my lucky pants (so to speak) ;-)

Pressure Dags, what pressure lol. I think I know what happened to Jose yesterday too. He didn't know what to work on with having the whole week off ha ha.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Simon,

Mate, you boy's are just going from strength to strength and handling the pressure big-time.

I did feel a little sorry for Jose. Actually, nah I didn't, lol

Where is Valley person then?

Tottenham are absolutely woeful, that 90 - 100 million quid was wasted .

They have a huge re-building job IMO

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No "IMO" needed mate.

They've wasted money and need some serious help. Fact.

I wonder if this Mascherano to Napoli has any legs to it. if he is for sale, I don't see why we should not consider him to add to our depth.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2014 17:38:28
To be honest I think Flamini would be the depth for a Bender or Gundogan.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get a new CDM that is.

mascherano is more versatile, that he can play CB and CDM

obviously this ain't happening, just wondering if he is actually on the market, more than arsenal going for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Napoli are interested.}

Cheers Ed, so atleast some of the stuff on the papers is true to an extent

Great overall performance yesterday. Everyone played well, in particular Flamini, Sagna and Cazorla. Slightly unlucky not to nick all 3 points. I was up celebrating when Podolski's shot went off Hart behind the net. I though Wnger was tactically spot on (for once). We retreated back when City had the ball and didn't leave ourselves exposed. Flamini did well enough to restrict Silva. I think if it weren't for Kompany we would have won, guy was an animal, such a good defender. Some say we were dominated in the first half, City only really had half chances tbh. Just because they were comfortable on the ball and had more possesion doesn't mean they were dominant. After the goal we were easily the better team, considering the players we were missing we did well.

Where does that draw leave us. We are still in the mix at the top. But its extremely unlikely we will get a top 2 finish. Everton have hard games against City, United and Southampton. As i'm writing this Fulham are holding them 0-0 at HT, also they play Palace and Sunderland, teams desperate for points. i'm not worried about us slipping outside the top 4. Unless we lose next weekend and have a meltdown it won't happen. FA Cup has to be priority. If we can steal 3rd place great.

Hoping Sagna not injured, noticed him hobbling a bit after he seemed to pull either his Calf or Hamstring. Any news on that? Come on Wenger put the pen to paper and sign Benzema, Gundogan and Lavezzi in summer ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When you say everyone do you just mean the Arsenal players that participated or are you including Giroud to?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if you put Giroud in a 4-4-2 you'd see a completely different player. Our midfield is dominated by players who look to play the defence splitting pass in behind. Giroud is not the player to latch onto that, he's the one waiting in the middle after his strike partner (a Suarez type) does the hard work.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tele.spot on, he would be a different player and incredibly his goal tally would go up

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not sure a 442 would make much difference to his pace, or lack of technical ability would it? It's irrelevant as we don't play that formation.
I can't deny he has a relatively good strike rate, but the chances he screws up are way to many for a first choice striker, give Podolski those chances and I think he'd convert a lot more. Bendtner would have a good goal tally if he played with a Suarez type and just sat there waiting to knock in the net.

Agree0 Disagree0

1404

Please don't tell me you are saying Bendtner is better than Giroud.

If so, never in a million years

Agree0 Disagree0

Tel I think you make an excellent point mate, he has spent most of the season battling two CB's and 4 4 2 would be worth a go for the last half dozen games.
Only real problem I see is if we won them all 4 or 5 nil we would screaming why didn't we do it sooner and do nwe really need to spend in the summer :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I made the point on here a few weeks back that Alan Smith said how hard it was playing upfront on your own, George Graham used him for that on a few occasions, remember the flick on for Mickey Thomas at Anfield? Probably not, and that is the point many things go without being noticed.

How many remember Girouds run that stated the move for our goal yesterday, but of course he was crap eh?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently Arsene is totally undecided on a new contract, for me that means he has had enough but is struggling with ending his love affair with us.
My preference would be he stayed and spent the money available on 4 or 5 top players but sadly I don't think its possible to have both things together.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

62

I have heard different, I think he will sign a new deal but only a short term one

Agree0 Disagree0

A big part of me wants you to be right Banbury, if he spends the money he has created I think the fans swingometer would certainly swing back in his favour.
Quality signings and Arsene would make the vast majority of us happy I think

Agree0 Disagree0

G62 Why do you think he'll spend big?
He had the chance to spend in January and boost our title chance but he chose not to. He decided to stick with Giroud. As much as I love Arsene, he needs to go. He doesn't deserve to be booed and insulted as he has done wonders at our club. I want him to go as a legend not as someone everybody got sick off.
Season is almost over, this is not the time to boo and jeer, let's get behind the team and win that fa cup.
Have to say, big shout out to the home support last night, you were amazing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi MKD
I'm not saying he will spend big or that he will stay even, but if Banbury is right and he is staying I would be happy with that as long he spent the money and bought quality players with it.
1st choice Arsene to buy big
2nd some one else who will

Agree0 Disagree0

MKD

Did he really? You can only spend big on players equipped for the CL all those players were still in that comp, there are hardly any players available in January, I think you are being harsh matey
January prices are even more inflated than the Summer so I can understand why AW wouldn't want to ne stitched up

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be staying, trust me .

I think 1 maybe 2 more years . Then he will be off

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Banbury- who was available in Jan, worth spending money on?

It was last summer when he should've strengthened.

I'm with G62, no problem with AW staying, as long as he actually invests in some quality players and learns from some the same mistakes made this season.

If not, bring someone in who will do that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Being a Liverpool fan it may not be my place to comment but I think Arsene still has unfinished business.
He's won everything domestically and built "The Invincibles" - which to me is still under appreciated by the wider footballing community.
His next project was to keep the club competitive (top 4) whilst the stadium was being built which is his legacy.
Now I think he wants the Champions league as well as winning domestically again.
He's a class act, you all know that deep down, he's just a bit frustrating. I hope he stays on longer, I think he deserves more success.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2014 10:53:52
A point against Everton would be fine IMO

After us they play

Sunderland away
Palace home
Man U home
Southampton away
Man City home
Hull away

You can see them dropping points in the Man U, Southampton and Man City fixtures

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree, we need to steady the ship cement CL place and then go for FA cup. Atid

Lfc fan in peace, great fight back today lads, deserved your point in the end.
I have massive respect for Wenger and your club, 20 times the Manager Jose is. History Will show this I feel.
Question for dags and g62,
At this stage, who do you honestly feel will win this thing?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If you don't mind I would like to answer that .

I feel you have to beat both Chelsea and City to win it, City especially.

My top 4 would be
City. Just
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Molby, with both city and Chelski to play at home I don't see why not mate, as long as you play your own game and don't get involved in the horrible ones mind games I think you will be champion's 2013/14.
Both hope and think you will mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to be honest mate I really hope city win it now, can't stand chelsea and the thought of the premier league trophy in liverpool is a grim thought, no offence buddy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with that Banbury,

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal (sadly. )

Would like to see Liverpool win it just so Stevie G gets a medal. Although, the gloating from my Liverpool supporting mates would be at an unbearable level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now we are out of the tittle race I would deffinately like to see Liverpool win it for lots of reasons but by far the biggest is

Its 25 years since the Hillsborough disaster and although nothing can sadly bring back the victims or ever un do the wrongs done to their memories and their families by that paper and the authorities it would be a glowing tribute to them.
If not us 100% Liverpool for me

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Molbyslostgoal,

I genuinely feel you boy's will win it because you are on a roll at the moment.

You have peaked at exactly the right time.

(funny enough, my wife says the opposite to me all the time, but not sure what she means, I didn't even know she likes football, funny that.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think my biggest reason for wanting Liverpool to win the league would be that it would give old red nose a few sleepless nights, imagine how irritating it will be for him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just for the record it would do my head in if Liverpool win it, my MD supports Liverpool and Newcastle ( work that out) for the last few years he has hardly discussed the PL, you can't stop him now, the morning after we lost the CL final he rubbed it in all day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gotta agree with saint and banbury, it would do my nut in if pool won it, 24 years of peace i've had and this year has been a nightmare, worst part for me is i'm surrounded by their fans and these particular few have pin hole glasses the likes you've never seen lol

so I can't have chelsea either for the mouthrinho, so the only other option is citeh and well to be honest I think pelegrini has been pure class and respectful all season

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers guys, glad we did the spurs, Good weekend for us both.
