Couple of things of note, well done Jenks for MOTM for England U21's in a 3-2 win against Germany.

Also a poll on the club page for who will have the biggest impact of the remaining players returning from injury, 64% voted Chamberlain, Jack on 19% and Arteta on 4%.

Couldn't agree more with the Ox but all including Debuchy will be key if any rotation needed in the final games. Although if Coquelin can play all of them I'd be happy with that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2015 23:00:35
if coq needs a rest and we beat liverpool and get some breathing space i wouldn't mind chambers having a run out there, with coq on the bench if he's struggling

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:34:49
With Bellerin and Debuchy vying over the right back slot, I see no way back for Jenks.

Would still have used him as a makeweight for a Winston Reid bid.

Out of the above 3, I think we have only missed Ox.
The other 2 are expendable and replaceable.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 06:56:30
Le Coq rest? The man doesn't even sleep or own a bed.
In between games he just works out in the gym almost constantly only taking occasional time off to train the SAS

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 08:18:39
Last season, Liverpool had SAS upfront.

Unfortunately for them, they also had LOL in midfield and WTF in defence.

The talk of the day seems to be player salaries.

As Lakeville said earlier, google Arsenal player salaries, interesting read.

Don't know how reliable it is, but interesting none the less.

Ed, apparently your boy Barkley is on £15,000 per week.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - if he is hes overpaid mate..

30 Mar 2015 22:35:07
Ed025 I just read that Barkley had said his best position is striker, what is all that about, did he play there when he was younger or something?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - striker?..hes been on strike all bleedin season if you ask me red dog..

30 Mar 2015 23:12:30
what is it with these english players? why are they on a high horse without knowing how to ride?

wilshere went from a wonder prospect a gascoine a english xavi to a mancity mercenary. Rodwell done well and now invisible, barkely played one decent season and now wants to be a striker?

i know they are kids with bad advice coming from all angles, but its such attitudes that is going to cost the national team some serious wasted potential.

harry kane and sterling seem to let their work do the talking and ox has been sensational when he's not injured, but besides these obvious young players, i can't seem to think of many more who will sacrifice anything, rather enjoying their millionaire life.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:23:38
Lol Ed,

Crack'd me up.

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Mar 2015 23:40:19
Old deal that dags. He's on a lot more now mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 21:49:25
Lakervile just found that site on players wages, Theo currently earns 40% more than Kos? And he wants more!
Very delusional greedy man if you ask me

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i dont think the players have much say in it G62...its those leeches and despicable parasites called agents who do all the wage negotiations mate, they are bleeding the game dry..

30 Mar 2015 22:09:48
Wow G62,

I just posted an almost identical article, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - plagiarism is not allowed dags..G62 got there first..

30 Mar 2015 22:13:30
Maybe Theo and Dags have the same agent Ed. :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you could be right red dog...i cant stand people who rip off the general public and prance around thinking they are better than everyone else, and earning shed loads of money in the process..and theo is no better mate.. :)

30 Mar 2015 22:30:49

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:47:14

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:25:59
Ed,

Funniest thing I have heard in a long time.

Oh, you give us driving instructors a bad name.

Lol, love it :-)

What's the scoop on these Sterling rumours? Based on how he played with Welbeck aginst Lithuania, it would be marvelous if true.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2015 21:02:09
So u think u will sign sterling and play him WITH welbeck LOL!!

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 21:46:42
Ctr this is a matter between fa cup teams

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - and league contenders saint...which means chris that your imput is invalid mate.. :)

30 Mar 2015 22:08:21
So why are u having an input ed? :)

League contenders, dags your joke throne may be in jeopardy ed25 has just come out with a beauty there.

Lol saint fa cup contenders, sad really tbh that that's come back. But u are about 12 I guess so u will learn (joking)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you know i cant resist tossing the odd hand grenade in chris.. :)

30 Mar 2015 22:12:03
I think its unfair to have a pop at Chris today.

Whats so special about today?

We should have a pop at Chris every day.

Only joking Chris :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 22:28:28
U catch me disagreeing dags I love a good battle.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:27:46
I know you do Chris.

Have always said you are the King of banter :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 23:43:33
Post of the day dags, i just wish a few more realised how lucky they are having me about. :)

Always good fun with u lot, as I have said I occasionally pop on to the Everton page but those boys play rough :)

Liverpool is like this page 3 years ago when I try. U lot have improved in those years a lot, ed25 has made sure of that along with Bond.

I still think le coq is useless though.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 10:48:42
Sorry Chris, I shouldn't be posting after my bed time

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2015 11:10:44
Sad revelation there from chris, his coq is useless, I guess it's alright mate age thing

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:10:55
Diarbygooner,

Nobody wants you to leave this site mate.

As for wages, I never pay much attention to it.

Its just paper talk, although they are probably not far off the mark.

I hear Sterling is on £35,000 per week, but wants £90,000.

But, who knows?.

I think players should be on Ed025's wages.

Bottle of Southern and a greasy kebab :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2015 18:25:19
He's turned down a deal on them wages dags wants more. The balls in his court.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:55:38
I think my last pay rise was about £6 lol.

Thank God I'm now self employed :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 19:20:17
6 quid, 6 bloody quid, you were lucky, when I was a kid used to work down mines 25 hours a day, get ome, lick road clean wit tongue, father would thrash us with a belt...;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - luxury that red dog..bloody luxury.. :)

30 Mar 2015 19:36:37
Belt?

Your Dad could afford a belt?

We were so poor my Mum kept my umbilical cord and gave it to me Pa for his Birthday to use as a belt.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 19:59:58
You had a mum, you were lucky! ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - spoilt i would say red dog..

30 Mar 2015 21:09:10
Proper spoilt Ed, these driving instructors never had it so good if you ask me. Not like us mere mortals. ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its not even a proper job red dog, im a pavior by trade mate, and i cant get a job watching someone lay flags, its money for old rope..

30 Mar 2015 21:56:56
Lol Red.

Ed, my next door neighbour is West Indian.

I saw a bloke doing some work on his front garden today.

I said, "Having work done mate?

"Yeah man", he said. "Himalayan paving slabs".

"Wow, Himalayan paving slabs, that must be expensive", I said.

"No, him a laying paving slabs", he said.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - sigh..

30 Mar 2015 23:05:55
£6 pay rise! i'm on a bloody apprentice wage, i live on beans on toast :(

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:02:04
Mrs Dags text me and said she was in casualty.

I got home, put TV on and watched it.

Didn't see her once.

Hope she gets home soon.

I'm starving.

Me and the wife were watching crime watch when they put up a photo fit of a man they were looking for with a phone number underneath it and said HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?
My misuss rang up and said no " I've never seen him before"

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 19:02:50
I was on "You've been framed last week".

Or crime watch, as most people know it.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 20:07:42
I had some issues with mistaken identity, this helpful bloke sorted me out though, present guy called Jeremy Kyle i think

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 21:59:56
My dodgy looking neighbour told me he was paid £5000 to appear on The Jeremy Kyle show.

I think he's lying through his tooth.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - even bigger sigh..

30 Mar 2015 14:06:24
Theo walcott plus anything under £15m for Raheem Sterling is a no brainier imo

Believable1 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2015 14:40:42
would cost more i think. if not then bargain

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 14:43:16
We are not going to pay 160 000 per week to Sterling anytime soon, so not getting hopes up on this one.

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Mar 2015 15:30:58
And nor should we Roster mate and anyone who is happy to pay him that deserves all they get one way or another from him.
As for Theo, take the deal on the table say thank you and set about repaying the club for letting you stay.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 15:59:25
sterling for me will end up on that wage and will become a top top player

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 17:03:17
Agree derby, I really think sterling will be a top top player in a few years, and I think these immense wage demands the papers are claiming are actually false and he is trying to push a move to a team that will be playing in champions league and have a chance at actually winning the title. Whether that be England or abroad 120k per week should be enough to convince him, convincing Liverpool on the other hand that's the tough bit

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 17:10:58
For me bill . I think it's both. More money he's worth same as Sturridge I feel and to join a club to challange year in year out. Not saying sturridge is worth that wage but its only fair on sterling. He's got to keep playing champions league football he's tll good not to be

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:04:28
Still prefer Theo.

I think all the Sterling talk will give Theo a rocket up the pelican and he will play better.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 19:03:34
Pelican?

Hehe love it.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 10:57:31
Hector Bellerin is being watched by Barcelona, De Ja Vu all over again.

we need to stop buying these kids with barca blood.

We should give them Ozil and Hector Bellerin for Neymar, sadly they would rather keep him and his court cases.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Mar 2015 18:33:34
No newspaper seems to mention that Barca are on a transfer ban for the whole of 2015.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 10:05:57
so raheem sterling. do we go all out for him and lose theo walcott in exchange? tough one. we would have to break wage barrier too.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - What "wage barrier" is that?}

30 Mar 2015 12:12:21
We'll he would become our highest earner so that barrier

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - you mean you believe the nonsense in the Fail? Give me strength! Liverpool have never offered anyone 180k a week, let alone him.}

30 Mar 2015 13:49:45
well ed considering the package on the table is more than likely going to make him the highest earner or one of at the club, does him stalling depend on champions league qualification? or is his head being turned around by Madrid, City and so on.

when people like john barnes and harry redknapp are going on about how he should stick with liverpool atleast for the next few years, it does seem like its not about money but something of an agents agenda if i may.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is simply an ongoing negotiation.}

30 Mar 2015 13:53:59
never said 180k eds no where in that post did i out a figure but he does want same wage as sturridge 150k which i believe he will get. which would make him out highest earner eds if we paid him that

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Gerrard is Liverpool's highest earner on 135k a week, Sturridge is on less. This is why Ed002 doesn't like to talk finances, as people just believe all the lies and fabrications in newspapers.}

30 Mar 2015 14:39:54
Im sorry eds but gerrard is on 140k a week and sturridge 150k. prove me i'm wrong its a fact mate i'm sorry

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Gerrard is the highest earner at Liverpool and has a clause in his contract that makes it so. Sturridge is not on anywhere near that amount, you are quite clearly talking out of your backside or making up lies. He is being paid under 100k.}

30 Mar 2015 15:04:15
well then it looks like he should sign in the summer when he will have the time to wrap up contract negotiations if that's the case.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 15:36:31
Derby lower the dose on those steroids mate, how can you possibly know the wage of these players other than what you've read?
Its all paper talk and the Eds are our best link to reality.
Slow your self down Derby mate you'll give us all a hernia :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 15:54:26
so what do we all think daniel sturridge is on then?

iv had a hernia before mate,

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 16:02:05
if anyone can prove to me that sturridge is on under 100k i will happily leave this site

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - prove it? You really are a knob, grow up.}

30 Mar 2015 16:04:09
one last thing suarez signed a deal before he left for 160k a which would rise to 200k in the summer. this deal was done before 2014. why wasnt gerrard put on par with him? interesting

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - no he did not. He had a signing on bonus which took his pay up to 160k, he was paid the same as Gerrard, which was 135k. You really are just making yourself look a tit, move on or I will just delete all your crap. You have no idea what you are talking about, you don't understand this at all, so stop talking about it.}

30 Mar 2015 16:06:20
Not a clue what Sturridge is on but I bet the Eds have a better idea than us mate. I would have thought Sterling is currently on about 80k because he got a pay rise last season or in the summer, if I'm correct but it's just us speculating and not at all 'fact' like you say - even if it is written down in the papers.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 16:47:07
Derby I'd at a pure guess say Danny Sturridge is on probably 75-80k a week, that would be my uniformed wild estimation.
Any way this hernia you sure it wasn't a rupture?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i would think you are very near there G62..

30 Mar 2015 17:12:39
Sterling is not on anywhere near 80k a week right now

#freedomofspeech
#DG4num10

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 17:16:06
Its all fantasy football money to me Ed if I'm honest mate, I try to take the amounts seriously but the fact these young lads earn in a week what I'll earn in 2_years if things go really well for me just makes it unrealistic to my brain capacity.
I'm not envious I truly just can't Begin to understand that sort of money week in week out, to the likes of me its a lotto win every week ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - me too G62, its bordering on obscene mate, when you think of these poor families where the parents are working on zero hours contracts, or not working at all it really hits home how privileged these footballers are, thats what cracks me up when they act like arseholes mate..

30 Mar 2015 17:23:08
Gunner lol it was a sports hernia. Docs said groin strain took 3months to get to see a specialist. Few scans later no sign of a definate injury. Had the op luckily it was fixed. Pain after though they trapped a nerve. But it died months later and I was pain free and back playing.

Life story over lol

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont know whether to call you derbygooner...or diarbygooner after that mate...you would never have cut the mustard in korea mate.. :)

30 Mar 2015 17:46:10
Ed they should go watch the people queuing up outside agencies each day hoping they will get chosen to work that day and not sent home without any pay at all, sad and immoral mate and certainly makes me very grateful not to be in their position that for sure.
Derby do you think it might be time to take up darts or snooker mate, its a lot less stressful on the body parts :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - were calling him diarby from now G62.. :)

30 Mar 2015 17:50:02
Iv had a few injuries in my time. Could move after the op because of that nerve. The injury was because the tube to my ball bag had split. Felt like it was on fire horrible

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:02:08
Brilliant Ed very apt :-) and the very best bit is Derby sorry I mean Diarby will probably start calling himself it too :-) agree or disagree with his posts but no one can deny he's a fantastic sport who takes banter in the spirit its ment without fail.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:28:09
If u want me to use diarby I'm happy for that. Who was it that spelt diaby diarby? Think I missed that day

Iv just told work I'm not coming in for 6months and I want my 60k a week wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:49:29
That would be me mate :-) smelling never been my stungest pint

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 20:00:03
just google liverpool player salaries. it should come up tsm something...same site does for all teams and its quite spot on what the eds said in regards to what sterling is on, sturridge and gerrard. they even mention how they get their info, seems decently reliable if not the absolute truth

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - never let the truth get in the way of a good story they say lakes..

30 Mar 2015 21:20:58
Couldn't agree more Eduardo, why repeat a boring truth when an exciting rumour is much more fun.
I once told a woman I lived next door to about the skateboard park that the council were going to build on some grass opposite our house's and within a few hours she had her petition and was going door to door, she was ever so proud when the council backed down and to save face denied they ever planned to build one in the first place :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 22:18:07
If its the website I think you mean it puts glen Johnson on 90k but he is on over 100k its a known fact. And I also think it says Sturridge wage before his new deal. Says his contract expires in 2018 but its now 2020.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - dont get bogged down wit the money side of things derby mate, only the player, his agent and the club know the real truth, the rest are guessing..

30 Mar 2015 23:10:24
I have my insiders eds. My mate lives with a pro who's international level and players talk. My old neighbour was an international captain . true story

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 00:11:53
I tell Ya who I'd like, Gareth bale! I know he's a spud, but what a player, seems like a decent chap, I reckon he could probably do a job for us if walcott leaves

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - very good player saint..

30 Mar 2015 07:15:05
On his wages I can't see it happenin . He would be amazing tho. Being ex spud makes it bette . He would score so many against them.

Would be amazing at The Emirates.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 10:58:29
Its a lovely dream but the utd/city of this world out pay us several times over because they can.
I'm not too sad about that to be honest yeah its nice to have the best players join you but I'd like to think who ever comes to Arsenal its about a bit more than just money, if we offer 150,000 aw but utd offer 175,000 its good because which ever team the player chooses he's made 100% the right decision to match his value's

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 13:54:38
earns 300k a week wouldn't put it past manu giving him a pay rise to join

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 17:25:45
lol if walcott leaves bale could do A job for us. there's no one better at arsenal right now than him. also derbygooner one thing i know he ripped you apart everytime he played you

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2015 18:07:06
