Anyone watching this England match v Peru?

Rooney 300k a week that's got to be the biggest waste of money ever paid for a player. What does he do for England? absolutely nothing in my opinion. So glad we never ended up with him. Jacks just come on now let's hope he doesn't get over ambitious.

Totally agree Golds, I'm not saying Rooney isn't good, but over-rated IMO

For utd when he's good he's very good, when he's bad he's awful.
For England when he's good he's playing against Malta or Luxembourg full stop.

Wenger says he is signing 2-3 players and we all know that a RB and a GK is a priority now.So what do you think will happen to the other compulsory areas the DMF, CF, CB, WG? Can someone please explain to me?

He may not sign a RB, with Jenkinson & Bellerin covering the position. We of course need a keeper and the other two will be a midfield player & a forward.

Anyone else not mind eto'o if we could get him on a relatively decent wage

I would be livid if we signed Eto'o. Far too old and simply not good enough. Plus, he would want a ridiculous wage.

Eto'o

Remy

Heskey

Crouch

Not for me Saint because he would than stop the development of Sanogo.

I would prefer Remy over Eto'o to be honest. Remy is a similar-type of player (I think he's better) and doesn't have ridiculous wages.

Following the success of yesterday's quiz questions I have come up with a few more questions for you horrible lot. Remember, no google cheating. Just have an educated guess. Dagenham Gunner, just have a guess.

1) Following the FA Cup victory over Hull, how many MAJOR honours has Wenger won in his time as Arsenal Manager?(Don't include community shield or the Emirates cup or indeed the fourth place trophy!)

2) Which player has made the most appearances this season: and how many appearances did they make (in all competitions).

3) Arsenal scored their 9000th goal in their history this season. Question is, who scored it? Bonus points for guessing the opposition!

I thought Wenger has won 3 Premier Leagues and 5 FA Cups with Arsenal including our FA Cup this season!?

sorry this is coming a bit late.
Just checked in now. the goal was scored by Ramsey (it also happens to be the last goal of the season and the goal that won us the FA cup and ended our trophy drought). special goal I must say.

So. It wasn't me

Ramsey's FA cup winner against Hull was indeed our 9000th goal! Well done team!

Also, apologies to all. Wenger has won 12 trophies at Arsenal but that included charity/community shields.
