Wenger should have a look at Remy and/or Lukaku. Regularly banging it in, EPL quality.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Chelski would not have loaned lukaku to us - he is now doing a great job for chelski- he's playing against all their rivals in prem league and the better he gets the more they gain both ways.

Ed was looking on a site to see who could be available in January (players in there last year).
Anyway it said shezza was in his last year but does he not have another year after this. {Ed027's Note - he does indeed

right, my prediction for tomorrows game.
2-1 arsenal olly giroud and mesut ozil to score. remember, you saw it here first lol. (gotta be worth a cheeky fiver down the bookies)

DG. Hope your lack of faith in our defence didn't cost you too much! Only joking man. #Respect!

completely going off thread here, just watched the everton-newcastle game. I have been following football for over 40 years and just witnessed the most amazing piece of sportsmanship I have ever seen. everton made 3 substitutions and johann cabaye shook the hands of all 3 newcy players when they were walking off the pitch. great sportsmanship in an era when prem players are lambasted for being over-paid prima donnas. good on you johann.

Why does Wenger keep saying that Gnarby has been at the club since he was 1? Wasn't he signed from Stuttgart for £100,000 in 2010?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not seen what wenger put, but had a look and we agreed the deal in 2010, but he never moved until 2011 when he had turned 16.

Agree0 Disagree0

We signed him from stuttgart for £100,000 in 2010 but he couldn't officially join us until 2011 when he turned 16. he played for the under 18s and than the reserves last season and now in the 1st team

Agree0 Disagree0

I wasn't sure whether this was a serious question at first. The gist of what Wenger said, and I'm paraphrasing here, was that he couldn't believe that Gnabry was 1 when he started managing Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger stated that when he (Wehger) joined Arsenal, Gnabry was 1 year old.

Would love to see Ozil get his first Arsenal goal tomorrow night. Outside Germany what other club could boast 4 different Germans scoring in 4 consecutive matches? It will also help reinforce the message that we can be a club for up and coming young Germans much like we were for young Frenchmen in the late 90s early 00s. And given the wealth of the talent pool there currently that can't be a bad thing at all.

Good post

We need a proper winger we have ox and podolski who aren't really wideman gnabry is too young and Walcott for me should be on the bench he's too inconsistent for a winger

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 goals last year from the wing is not inconsistent, it's awesome.

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right it's not a bad return, but no matter what Theo does in a game, even if he bags a brace and sets one up.I'm always left thinking about the chances he misses.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with baggins. theo is one of the best wingers in the world IMO. 14 goals speak for themselves

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there a different Theo I've not seen?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope i'm talking about our theo, I wouldn't swap him with anybody

Can any Ed or someone who can give me some sort of info on Madrid, tell me about the situation of Karim Benzema?

It looks like the fans absolutely hate him, I never thought he was better than higuain, but could it be that his time at madrid is up?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Edd what about iker any chance as he's not staring that would be a massive signing {Ed044's Note - Casillas is interesting a few clubs - particularly Milan.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Benz is stuck there till Jan, and all it takes is a string of 3-4 matches scoring and they will love him again

I will say, as a Madrid fan, Benz is vastly overrated. Lots of style, little substance, when under the microscope as in Madrid and France.

As a striker, Higuain is far better than him. I see Benz more as a LW, like we play Poldi

He needs a club back in France, or maybe even Italy at this point to fly under the radar, with less scrutiny and pressure

He will fail in England. Mentally he will never be a top player consistently for an entire season

Also, boy do they miss Ozil in Madrid

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer de maria to benzema.

I think squad rotation will be vital to win the league arsene has a tough task to keep our best 11 fit he has to choose who to play and when as for the Napoli game I don't think he will rest any1 but we should consider resting 1 or 2 players maybe arteta for Wilshere or flamini

Great weekend. the away record tied, and possibly the west brom game to be a good tie for two teams coming off impressive wins before we go into the international break.

For me we are not relying on Mesut. He is not firing on all cylinders, and this could be down to lack of pre season, and also possibly fitness. However I expect him to come good soon and let's hope he can start scoring to increase his influence for us.

Good news is the recovery of walcott after the international break, and the return of Caz, who I hope does not play while he is away with spain, if he is part of the squad.

the Vision of Ox on one wing and gnabry on the other, is something wenger has already thought about.

Jack is going to have to discipline himself and try and establish a deep position alongside ramsey. Ozil will only get better.

I don't have a lot to say on our performance. we are doing the job we are supposed to, and I will be impressed depending on how we play some big names.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ozil is not a goal scorer, once in a while he finds himself with an opportunity to score, but that should not be our focus

Keep him on the periphery of the box passing, while Ollie, Poldi, Theo, etc make runs and he will be most effective

Avatar eyes will lead PL in assists, by a quantity. Just watch

Agree0 Disagree0

Also our very own cesc has been displacing xavi and iniesta and leads la liga with 5 assists. i'm just glad united did not get him.

i have been studying Sagna, and I've come to a 70% conclusion that he needs to be replaced.

he has indirectly caused/concieved us 2 goals in the last 3 matches.

what are the opinions of the House!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think he is better this season than last few, for me it's been Jenkinson for a while now but both competing has to be Good

Agree0 Disagree0

He's good cover for defenders but I don't think he's as good as he was 3 years ago (2 leg breaks will do that to you.)

Montoya could come in. But I think a more experienced right back is needed and jenkinson as back up still.

Although better than last season he is still not on top of his game, he seems to lose concentration to easily which is the reason he has cost a couple of goals. But our unbeaten run says he can't be doing that badly.

Thats the problem, changing a winning team and Jenks needs a good run of games to see where he is at, he himself got caught in possession against Swansea in a dangerous position, but he had just come on.

It's like a rock and a hard place. I would have liked Jenks to have started as number 1 this season but think he will have to wait for his chance again and just try and grab it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Jenkinson is ready to replace him. but we still need depth and having sagna as a backup is not a bad option.

however if we can buy a RB which will challenge Jenks for the RB spot. even better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes sagna has not been the same player and needs replacing tbh also mertesacker doesn't do it for me at fault for the Swansea goal I kno most guys love big per but I'd like another solid cb to partner koscielny Montoya and abate would be good replacements for sagna also I think we made a mistake not signing kolo toure on a free he's been liverpools best defender and can play right back

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't agree with any of these posts. Jenkinson is a country mile off Sagna. Quicker down the wing, that's it, and he's cost us quite a few goals and played a lot less. Koss has cost us two penalties and Merts has made a couple of positional mistakes - they are all human but the stats from last season don't lie.

Hey guys what do you think of Steven caulker I thinks he's a good cb and started well this season maybe 1 to keep an eye on spurs made a mistake in my opinion in selling him edd do u rate caulker {Ed039's Note -Selling a young hungry Dawson and keeping an injury prone Kaboul made no sense in my opinion but maybe the guy just wanted to play football. Good player for sure)
