Use our rumours form to send us arsenal transfer rumours.

I know we're not supposed to mention anything to do with Liverpool but Ken Aguero's lucky pants have been mentioned in my household with my other half being a Liverpool boy.

Now he's said as things are not going quite to plan for us that he's got me what he calls a new lucky Arsenal kit and that if I wear it all the time we may yet win the league.

I'm concerned because I'm sure the Arsenal kits aren't made of PVC and they don't have a white cross on them.

Am I being duped by a nasty Liverpool fan?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - love it jenny..

Who are Liverpool?

Never heard of them, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Kens lucky pants :-) their the banter of the season imo.
On lucky kits my missus is convinced that her wearing an Arsenal shirt to bed at the weekends is the secret behind our continued dominance of the PL, everyone knows its the team that finishes 4th who are are champions, YES THEY ARE SHUUUUUUSH!

Agree0 Disagree0

Under-handed tactics G62 but I love your style, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

If it work jenn don't question it! haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol good work Mr Taylor. :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Jen
mmm sounds a nice 3rd kit does mr taylor remember where he got it I might get my mrs the same strip, lol

Hi Welsh,

He said he got it from AS, which is apparently the Arsenal Superstore. ;-)

Quick question for Ed07

I read a post where I think it was you who said Liverpool are losing a million a month and are breaching FFP like ManC. I wondered if that affects the ECL qualification?

Also I've got a wacky thought about Arsene's contract situation - I'm wondering whether he might have given the board his list of summer targets and told them he'll sign once they've brought his targets in.

Only weakness in this is whether the board would let him do that and I think this board would go with that.

Nothing to support it, just my twisted mind working overtime

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - There's nothing wrong with having a twisted mind, I myself am a happily confirmed misanthropist and have been my whole life. LFC won't face any action because they didn't play in Europe this season and as far as I know City are one of the teams UEFA are looking at but I wouldn't hold my breath for any meaningful sanctions.}

The only thing that is likely to happen would be transfer embargo's and that is a strong possibility . As for CL disqualification, not a chance as it would devalue the competiton and could hardly be called the CL

Edd007 and edd25, too much time on your hands

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - my probation officer said the same thing al.. :)

Quiet night on the taxis.
You should see all the Evertonian cabbies circling on Liverpool match days. Taking the long routes from the hotels up to Anfield on the meter.
Haha, the Blues revenge!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you taxi drivers should wear masks juicer...at least dick turpin had the decency to wear one when he was robbing people.. :)

Me?
It's a well known fact that 90% of Evertonians are cabbies, and the other 10% are waiting for their licenses back.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - good reposte mate..

On the Liverpool/Arsenal fans love on this site.
When we beat Liverpool in the league last November and were top I distinctly remember some of their fans coming on our page to say well done and hoped we'd win the league, I don't remember to many people objecting too much back then!

Since then things have turned around completely, if we can't be as gracious in defeat as we are buoyant in victory what does that say about us?

When we won the league at Anfield on the last day of the season their fans dispite being completly registered stay behind to watch us be crowned champions and applaud us off the pitch!

If we can not share decent grown up banter with them then who?

A conference side who are no threat to us so we never have to feel threatened by them.

Good honest well homoured banter has to be better than the playground stuff we usually receive from other teams fans

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - that is far too sensible to be on these pages G62, if you cant conform, i will have to consider a ban mate!.. :)

Ban him, ban him, ban him :-) sorry g62 lol

But honestly I feel for u guys if liverpool win the league, u will all find out the hard way lol.

I personally think we should all just forget the league was played this season and keep last years standings, see that's how nice I am gooners letting u have 4th again and not having to worry about Everton catching your butts :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed being sensible isn't part of my normal behavior, I'm sure I couldn't do it again if I tried :-).
Hi Chris hows your son and misuss mate? All good I hope.
Its the same old same old mate ain't it mate?
We're fighting for 4th and Manchester's finest are above us.
I suppose we have to be greatfull some teams would love to be involved in a 4th battle wouldn't they?

Agree0 Disagree0

Careful G62, ED025 is in a crazy mood.

I think he's a bit worried because he knows we will turn them over at goodison, lol.

Chris, keep dreaming mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you are still big favourites for 4th DG, even when we whack you this weekend...we still have city to play, and united..

G62,
Sometimes your words hurt mate :-)

Mrs is moaning at me again so I guess everything is fine with her again, the boy is doing fab mate, thanks for asking.
Mind u we could use his dribbling skills tomorrow I feel :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed025, if truth be known, I fear Everton.

Bloody good team and delafoeu (spelling) is top draw and your home record speaks for itself.

Moysie did a good job but Martinez has taken you to another level.

If you win you will be 1 point behind with a game in hand.

Yes, you still have City and United to play and away to Southampton but your other games are very winable, albeit against teams scrapping for survival.

But, you boys do worry me. See, its not just the "Mersey reds" we compliment, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your a nice guy DG, i would give you a man hug if we ever met, just dont tell the liverpool fans...you know how jealous they get mate ... :)

Chris that is the result of the season mate I'm so pleased for you the wife and your little boy mate I really am.
We can resume hostilities tomorrow so don't remind me I ever said this.
But that's the result I prayed for and way above anything football could ever even get close to

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed025,

I thought you were dead against love-fest's or are you slowly getting in-touch with your feminine side, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it was the thought of jenny in that nurses outfit DG, it gave me improper thoughts mate.. :)

Lol Ed025,

Nurse Taylor does have a certain ring to it

Agree0 Disagree0

Now that's what our dressing room needs, Arsene invest in a nurse jenny!

Agree0 Disagree0

Great we have a love fest going on. all we need is mariah carey, and jeniffer lopez to start singing.

WELSH BOY

I wouldn't shout about Suarez being out, no sympathy there matey

And to answer you question about us having attacking players out why are we conceding . doh! lol because we haven't got the quality to keep the ball up front and it is coming back so quick the defence can't recover.

Surely even the welsh can work that one out lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lol the gloves are off now Banbury mate :-)

I admire you for trying to educate a liverpool fan and going over ground many have failed in before u ;-)

Just heard on the radio that 13 years ago today an Arsenal legend was cruelly taken from us at a very young age.

Guys would you take a moment to remember a true gentleman of football. A player I was lucky enough to see play and a player who will be scoring and ripping left backs to pieces in heaven

RIP David 'Rocky' Rocastle

True legend and sadly missed

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Absolute legend Soops.

Good shout mate, respect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah great shout SooperG- I had the pleasure of seeing him play many times- so, so tragic. RIP Rocky.

Agree0 Disagree0

Without rocky, they'd be no Wrighty, and with no wrighty, no henry.

Rocky was more important than we love him for

Blimey, I go to work and leave ED025 in charge and look what happens?

ED025, can't I trust you to do anything? I told you to behave and play nicely and you kick up a 5hit-storm between us Gooners and the Scousers.

Only joking mate.

Right, first things first.

Fitz_Jamaica, despite what you put earlier, yes that is a pic of me on Arsenal sightings (albeit 8 years ago) and no, I don't look like a movie star, but thanks for the compliment mate (smiles, love you for saying so though, lol)

Secondly, we give the boys from the Liverpool page encouragement because if we don't win the league (and we wont), than I would rather they did.

Nothing against Chelsea, but I don't like Mourinho (great manager though) and I don't want Man City to win either because I don't like their "Let's buy the league" attitude (although I do think Pellegrini has been a true gent this season).

Liverpool remind me of Arsenal. Good supporters, a proper footballing club and they try to do things the correct way.

Thirdly, If I thought there was any chance of us winning the league, I would go round to Sizemick's house, and Simonpw's and Ken Aguero's and VRcomp's and all the others and I would kick their dogs and throw their cat's into the Mersey if it meant we would win the league.

But, we won't, so Liverpool are the next best thing.

ED025, now behave, lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - good post that DG...i will try and be nicer in future mate, but if spurs were top of the league, and everton supporters were drooling about how good they were, and how deserving it would be for them to win the title...im sure it would irk you too.. :)

ED025,

I would go round to every Everton supporters house, kick their dog and throw their cat in the Mersey.

Can you see a worrying pattern developing here Ed? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - yes i can mate...you are trying to take the food out of our mouths.. :)

Agree with very word Dags. Ed025? Let's keep it real shall we? Ha ha (don't punish me! I meant it respectfully.)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - now would i do that telgoon.. :)

Personally speaking I think the lfc fans are more like chelsea fans in a lot of ways, both talk complete sh£te and wouldn't know tactics from tictacs also its always someone elses fault e.g. the ref, and they all seem to have the same thoughts and excuses like freakin zombies, they both
do my nut in

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2014 19:28:56
Jealousy is a terrible thing Ed025, seems like you and the devilishly handsome 007 have a bad case of it.

It's fairly obvious that the likes of Simonpw, Vrcomp, Sizemick and others are just nice guys.

They are not of the ilk of the unfortunately ugly CTR, I mean, I thought that was just a myth thing about hitting every branch on the way down :-)

But proved me wrong there he did. Bless.

Great post as always Dags. Lol. :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - life can be very cruel jenny...being ugly is one thing, but being ugly and a gooner!!!...i feel for CTR..hang in there mate.. :)

Ahhh jenny is it? U are the lucky 1, I can't change my looks as much as I try, whereas u only being about 13 still have plenty of time to grow up and stop being a spoilt little brat and to come up with some grown up responses, Meow :-)

P.s I see u apologized to golds, now that's a good ummmm :-/

Oh I have missed our talks, I ain't been the same without your witty and classy replys to my posts, thought maybe I had got to u, like when I dared suggested bayern would knock u out of the CL, still I was proved wrong again! Oh wait! X love ya x :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2014 21:19:35
Your predictability is a beautiful thing Chris, as you know I have been gently baiting you over the weeks with little digs at your beloved United and despite your claim that you would never darken the banter of a spoilt brat. Bang you jumped right in on the back of the Golds posts.

I have been waiting, you didn't disappoint I knew you couldn't and the photo, albeit with the lovely little Jack was far to good an opportunity to miss.

Having a daughter who spent 9 days in ICU when she weighed 4lbs 9ozs at birth I did say a prayer for you both.

My post this time was said with smiles as I was wrong on my previous posts to you and have been meaning to apologise for a long time.

So I do apologise to you Chris :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol jenny I never take anything to heart mate, its all just fun to me and I know exactly how u and laker play games :-)

Yes I know the pic is hardly flattering and I normally have devilshly good hair to accompany my 'rugged' good looks :-) but sadly after spending 4 weeks in the icu ward I let myself go (i no u couldn't tell by the pic) but its true and believe it or not most mornings I wake up and i'm only a 7 out of 10.

There are no need for apologies we have that bond where we dnt needs words ;-), however if we are in that ball park I may of said a few things that need apologizing for to and if that's the case I do (sincerely)
Now can we please go back to hating each other again? If not for us for the kids on here, we can't let them be effected by this today :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2014 22:21:59
Ha Ha, me too and thanks Chris and I'm guessing it's just great that Jacks home.

I'm not sure who is worse, you or 007 on the bigging up your looks front. Lol.

We'll get back to the hating another day :-) it's just cool to have banter with everyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheer's DG. Great post.
Have to say your more than welcome round ours for a beer and a chat about football, though have to say you would have to get used to walking with a prosthetic leg if you tried to kick the dog. (The cats pretty mercenary too!)
Jenny. Cheers for the "nice guy" comment. I try to talk to others as they talk to me and DG, G62, yourself and other's on this site tend to be civilised. Which is more than can be said for some on the other banter pages.
vrcomp
Y.N.W.A.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice one DG and Jen.
Dags, you're always welcome at Chez Aguero. I know you'll come round on the premise of kicking Diego (my dog) and throwing Carlos (my cat) in the Mersey, just so long as you keep your hands off my lucky pants.

And Ed25: Everton - Lukaku = Villa ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Crickey Ken. You really think Everton would rate as highly as Villa without Lukaku?
Ever the optimist.

guess u have to live with tha burden then ed lol fair play for what youve done for jft96. as they say some things more important tha football. must be fun times in your house at the min.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - if the worst was to happen walton (liverpool winning the league), their house keeping will be going up, the will is going to be changed, and no more lush,s will be allowed in their rooms..that will teach them to defy me.. :)

Your surname doesn't start with a K does it ed025?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - no mate..but pass on my regards to the guy you are thinking of..

31 Mar 2014 16:40:37
see the blue rubbish eds trying to stir it up abit on here. same ed who would rather everton be relegated than us win title. bitter much?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i can only tell you whats in my heart walton mate, my love for everton is only usurped by my dislike of liverpool, im afraid its a burden that i must carry..this is only to do with football though, as my 2 lads are reds...i also champion the JFT96 campaign which is very dear to my heart..

31 Mar 2014 13:26:05
A follow up to an earlier comment by Ed025; I'm absolutely in agreement this love-in between the Arsenal and Liverpool fans is nauseating. I can never imagine going onto a rival board and kissing the arse of their fans saying how nice they are and how good their team is. You know why the Liverpool fans are being so nice to Arsenal – because they don’t see our team as a threat to their title challenge, it’s a backhanded insult! Personally I hate Liverpool, always have, always will and Brendan Rodgers is a complete tool. I wonder did you all love Liverpool so much when John Henry was asking what we were smoking? No, you all hated their scouse guts and hoped their season crashed and burned. Mathematically Arsenal are still in the challenge for the league and until it’s absolutely impossible, I’ll never even think about who I want to win the league. I hope Citeh, Chelski and Liverpool all get scores of injuries, suspensions and scandalous decisions against them, I hope Stevie G never wins a title and I hope Suarez leaves at the end of the season to go to a good team.
never Y.N.W.A and C.O.Y.G

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - there you go!...a man after my own heart..respect to you sad face, a true supporter..

ABSOLUTELY!!

Best post on here!

Well said!

cant stand Gerrard he's another Barnes absolute tool for england only interested in Liverpoo!

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to say I agree

It will be interesting to see how Liverpool get on next season, they have been very very lucky this year they haven't had key players out in the way we have. They have also had a lot less games than their 3 main rivals, no European travel, out of the FA Cup in the 5th round. They can't really strengthen their squad apart from the odd defender. This is the best they could ever hope for, if they don't win it this year it could be another 20+ years.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree so much with Sad_Face, Liverpool fans are only being nice, because they do not see us a threat, which I as an Arsenal supporter find pitiful.

I am Arsenal through and through and not a football fan I am an Arsenal Fan, oh hell I don't even have a favorite for a WC. I cannot understand why people like DG or G62 are so nice.

The moment that title is won by Liverpool they are going to be like all other clubs laughing at us.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I wonder how the love-in would have panned out if Suarez had got his way and joined Arsenal in the summer and was helping you challenge for the title?
Would LFC fans be on here wishing you well and be delighted for Suarez? They are treating you like a small club that they are giving a patronising pat on the head to.}

Come on man, lose that attitude and welcome to the gay bar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool fans have been nice to arsenal fans because the arsenal fans have been nice to us
we talked about u guys winning the league when we were not even in the picture and if u think that we come to d arsenal page and try to make fun of u guys by saying what d fans have been saying then u srsly have a low life(gunners will agree)
as far this ed is concerned. I see you are an evertonian. your comments haven't surprised me a bit. ders a reason u lot are called bitters. man its hurting u seeing us AT THE TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i make no secret of the fact im a blue JWH, but be honest, arsenal are your favourite other team because of your hatred towards the mancs, and your jealousy of chelsea and citys wealth, so you can stop the holier than thou attitude now mate..

Here here ^^

i have no problem with Lfc fans coming on and wishing us luck and what not.

but look at CTR, the mans a utd fan, we hate him for it, he comes on and has banter, we love him for that.

but with the scouse lot its more/
theyre lfc fans. we don't hate them.
they have banter, we love that.

what i'm saying is basically because they aren't usually in direct rivalry between us doesn't make them the enemy of our enemy. they're still OUR enemies.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hear what you guys are saying- ultimately I just want arsenal to do well.

But I can't stand the sugar daddy clubs, so I'd rather see Liverpool win it than the other two- but that's just me.

And in fairness, I recall 'pool fans coming to these pages before or around xmas wishing us to win the league, when it seemed they weren't in it, so I'm not sure it's as patronising as some seem to think.

But only they know.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - LFC are losing £1 million a month and are failing the FFP regs (along with and Man City) so the idea they are not being bankrolled by anyone, just like Chelsea and City are, is a myth.}

Sad face, best post on here! COYG

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2014 15:09:54
Sad really. I know Everton are catching up with you in the league, but that doesn't mean you need to become bitter.
We'll tweet you a photo of Suarez kissing the title, and you can pretend he won it in an Arsenal shirt eh?
Better than the hippie love in Ed025?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - at least your honest dave..

31 Mar 2014 15:17:39
Plus when you Gooners say
'Liverpool havnt had the injury worries we have blah blah' your really just being silly.
We've had Sakho, Agger, Toure, Johnson, Enrique and Lucas all injured at key points during the season. With our first choice back 5 all simultaneously out.
Not to mention Suarez missing the first 6 games, and Sturridge having a 2 month lay off.
How much worse would your season be with you'd had Gibbs, Kos, Per, Sanga and Flamini all out, with Giroud missing 2 months?

90% of your injuries have been attacking ones so why are you still conceding goals left right and centre? Our defensive injuries have contributed to our goals conceded big time.

Bottom line Gooners is when Gerrard was injured Allen stepped up. Enrique-Flanagan, Suarez-Sturridge and visa versa.
Skrtel-Toure,
The list goes on. Who's filled Ramsey's void? Who's filled Theo's void?

Agree0 Disagree0

Like I said ed. some arsenal lads have been nice to us and they deserve the respect that we give them. its not "ass licking"
this friendship with the lads have nothing to do with our "hatred" towards the mancs or our "jealousy" of Chelsea or city's wealth
if you think that hating arsenal or Everton makes me a true Liverpool fan then no. supporting LFC is what makes me a true Liverpool fan

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will have that JWH, just support your own team!..

31 Mar 2014 15:23:54
I'd like to point out it was your own supporters who initially held out the olive branch ed, which I suppose was ok at the time because we were not a threat right?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i cant speak for everyone dave...but i dont do olive branches myself mate..

Well Sad_Face if Suarez DOES 'leave to go to a good team' it means it won't be to you

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - respect puzzled..

Hey ed025, if you want to talk of being patronised and love ins, remember your Manchester United connections.
It'll prove useful when they take Coleman and Barkley off you, in return for another couple of crocks.
You should start a similar thread on the Utd page mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ahh...there was a reason for that juicer, we wanted them to get more titles than you!..job done!..

Here! Here! Sad face well put, Liverpool fans are being condescending because they beat the hell out of us and we are not Mancs.

It was our pleasure to knock them out of the FA cup and let's see how generous they are when we put the 6-1 on them at the Emirates next year.

In it to win it! COYG's

Agree0 Disagree0

GooneINK,
I thought I could feel my ears burning :-) ahh u all love me lol well all apart from monsir Laker and dame Jenny ;-)

lol love it ed25, like when I had banter with the everton fans and had to come back with my tail between my legs the banter was gd! See what all this love in has caused me to do! Go on ti the everton page and talk to the likes of degsy :-) can't we all just dislike each other again?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - thats what were here for CTR..its all good mate, there is nothing wrong with friendly banter...so long as it does,nt get too friendly..

The two teams will combine to make a new team called "Liverarse FC". We will take the best from each team and in no time we will be unstoppable.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your contribution will be the reserve keeper...lol..

Ed 007 nt being disrespectful but seriously how pathetic of u trying to convince people that we lfc fans are just here to make fun of arsenal
haven't you heard of the saying that whatever happens happens for a good reason. why dwell on the fact that what would have happened if Suarez was to leave lfc and join arsenal. why not live in present and be happy of what is in front of u. or do u want fans to kill each other just to prove that they TRULY SUPPORT THEIR TEAM

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I don't care if I'm being disrespectful or not and I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything, what about you? If you really want to see pathetic go read back posts on the Liverpool site about how great Arsenal fans are, now that's pathetic. Have you got an Arsenal/Liverpool half and half scarf? It's quite funny from an outsiders point of view, to see how low some people will actually stoop for a patronising pat on the head over the internet, I wonder if you would you be on here dribbling the same BS if Arsenal were in your position? All of a sudden because you have a chance of winning the league you want to be everyone's friends, on sucking up and fishing for compliments about how good LFC and their fans are, that's worse than pathetic, that's downright creepy and needy. Don't you have any friends in the real world?}

Sad_face Expect the divorce papers in the post

Agree0 Disagree0

Its true CTR. I only love Moyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can someone please tell me why my replies are not being posted
If I try to be too polite then my I would be classified as an ar*e licker
and if I try to be hostile it is classified as abusive.?
Just wanted to invute ed over ti our site and not try to wind up supporters on another site
I promise you we will show you how to be hostile to everybody

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i have not deleted any of yours reet...i would love to edit your site mate...unfortunately ED001 will not allow it, you wont believe this, but he thinks im bitter, and would cause trouble...moi..?? :)

I find it ridiculous that this is even brought up. I have friends that support Man United and arsenal and Chelsea and we always have friendly conversation. I would NEVER use the word "hate" to describe any of these teams. It's a game. I love it, but it's just a sport. If you want to hate something. Hate racism. Get it out of the game.

We have been friendly to each other for a while now. I don't see any problem with us (liverpool fans) and you arsenal fans sharing conversation in a civilized manner.

Maybe you're right. Maybe I should join this page and say "yeah giroud is an adulterous scandal, and a person of a footballer, like the rest of your team."

That's the more intelligent way, you're right.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i have never used the word "hate" tj, that has no place in society, and i totally agree on the kick out racism stance, its just banter mate, rivalry if you would..for me its about nailing your colours to the mast, there is nothing wrong with that imo..

Hmmm ed01 sounds bitter to me ed lol.
But let's be honest the eds are only saying what every other self respecting fan is thinking when coming onto thid page and seeing the advertisements for lonely supporters hearts most posts might aswel start with
'liverpool fan seeks arsenal fan, must be able to stand patronising and back handed comments from fans who really believe they are better than each other but that must not get in the way of compliment fishing' :-)

Bless u all.
P.s Laker that's why I like ya ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ED001 is a liverpool fan CTR, which explains a lot.. :) but at least you seem to be with the programme mate, which is a big a compliment i can give to a guy who wears a red shirt..

Well it seems I will have to come over to your site ed

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - and you will be made very welcome reet, after all, we have the most articulate, knowledgeable fans in the country mate..

31 Mar 2014 17:37:57
For the record, I have no strong feelings either way regarding the love in between Arsenal and Liverpool fans this season.
What I do disagree with is the notion Liverpool fans are doing it to be smug. We've been doing it all season,
Saying it needs to stop is 1 thing, but you can't lay that blame at us just because we are winning games now.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - if you dont mind me pointing out dave...it sounds like you are saying that you have been smug all season mate.. :)

31 Mar 2014 17:31:47
Ed007 stop taking tosh.
Even in this thread alone we have figured out DG from the Arsenal page started this friendliness.
And he started it when Arsenal were fighting for the title and liverpool were battling for 4th.
And Liverpool fans wished them luck.

Saying 'what would you do if they were in your position ' is silly, because that's already happened and we wished them well.

Source: LFC Rumours archive 2013. Please feel free to check it and come back.
There's nothing patronising about it. We've been wishing each other luck all season and now your out of the race its patronising? You are now as jealous of us as you accuse us of being Chelsea/City, from both an Arsenal and Everton POV.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Calm down sweetcheeks, take a deep breath and...relax... see how better you are feeling, was it a tough day at school?
Can I ask what you mean by me being 'out of the race', I think you'll find my team have already won their league and if you have no strong feelings about it why are you even commenting, are you at a loose end waiting on mummy making your tea?
Real supporters will see it for what it is, patronising, that's all I care about. Fans aren't nice to opposition fans of teams they see as a threat, that's a fact. Have you been on to wish the Chelsea fans good luck for the rest of the season?
Oh and while you're waiting on mummy and looking things up, look at the posts from during the summer when you thought Suarez was leaving, fickle much?
Now run along, mummy wants to know if you want tomato sauce on your fish fingers.}

Fabianski (free)
Kim Kallstrom
Emilion Viviano (Park chu young 2.0?)
Bendtner ( good riddance)
Sagna (Free)
Ryo Miyachi (not arsenal material)

Lukas Podolski (maybe sold) perhaps eds need to shed some light on that

Abou Diaby, will be Jan 2016 signing

Mikel Arteta (should be sold)

Monreal, Vermalen (possible exits)

So Considering we are going to have quite a few departures, I hope the priority is to add a starting CDM to the lineup.

buying a RB and maybe a LB if monreal leaves.

Straightening the CB position (if vermalen leaves) If he doesn't we need to buy at-least a young CB.

our GK situation will need to be addressed.

not to forget our striker situation. atleast two will need to be added.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wenger, assuming he stays, will cure the players shortage in his usual manner, by signing frees, low cost young players & players with potential. Ozil was an exception.
Goalkeeping-wise, he will try to sign a free or loan deal, as number two & use Martinez as third choice.
Defensively, if Sagna departs I would expect he will try & bring through Jenkinson and sign a young player with potential or elevate Bellerin. At centre back he will replace Vermaelen, if he leaves, using the funds he receives for him and he may bring Hayden through. At left back he will keep the two players we have. Midfield wise we have numbers, when fit & assuming Abu Diaby returns I can't see him buying anyone, until the following season when Arteta's contract is up. In attack I believe he will make a signing, but not a mega signing and may try to bring Campbell back, assuming he now qualifies for a work permit, which he should do.
So not the 5 or 6 quality signings the team is crying out for. Imagine we signed Begovic, Pogba, M'Vila & a top notch striker. Will it happen? Not a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the reason for him leaving maybe because he does not want to have another average season.

Those buys will do nothing to help us.

Yes ramsey, Ozil, Wilshere will make us contenders again. But without a Key CDM, and a definite Striker who can supplement Giroud, I don't see why Wenger should stay on, if he is not willing to take us to the next level.

Perhaps he should walk away, take the national job in france or PSG or Barca, as he won't need to buy players worth 100 million there, just supplement his squad with an odd signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been saying the for weeks. The fact that is has got to this stage is ridiculous and if Arsene is still here it will remain unfixed as Robbie has said. He said only the other week after the NLD that he would never do what Spurs did and buy 7/8 players in one season. Well, I'm sorry Arsene but you're going to have too!

Agree0 Disagree0

I wonder if Klopp, Jogi Lowe, and some other coaches have been scouted for interest in the Arsenal Job, because the last thing we need is a Remi Garde, to do exactly what moyes is doing. come in for a year, just look at the players he has and then struggle to make any impact and get sacked in a years time.

might as well get a coach who knows how to get the best out of his players and improve the team.

Klopp for me, as it would help us attract some key Dortmund players. obviously not on the cheap but trying to get reus for 35-40 mill and Gundogan for 25-30 mill should help us fix two issues with CDM and forward.

Obviously its left to be seen what comes of this summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Klopp has just signed a new deal, it won't be him. Well it won't be anyone because AW is staying

We only need 3 or 4 very good players not the silly amount spurs got in.

Agree0 Disagree0

If its to be 3-4 new buys.

it should be

1) world class striker (not happening)
2) world class CDM (not happening)
3) RB who has proven himself if not world class ( most likely a kid)

4) buying players on talent even if position is covered.

in regards to point 4, I can name quite a few players who will be on the market, and i'm quite sure there won't even be an inquiry into their availability.

Khedira, Di Maria, Benzema, Morata, Alexis Sanchez, Mascherano, Song, Dani Alves, Pedro, Tello, Deulofeu, Lukaku, Hernandez, Dzeko, Aguero, Suarez, Cavani, Diego Costa, Falcao, Toni Kroos, Thomas Muller, Gundogan, Mandzukic, Reus, Hummels, Coentrao, Lars Bender, Draxler.

I would take any 3 players listed above. we will infact get Zero.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lakerville,

Unfortunately mate I agree with you. Wenger won't bring in 3 top players in one window. He loves to promote youth players (Gibbs, Wilshere, Szeszncy) or buy young players with great potential (Fabregas, Nasri, Koscielny). But, on occasion he has bought a top player in their prime (Arshavin and Ozil).

We apparently came close to getting Draxler in Jan and had £37.5m odd bid rejected? Wenger clearly is still willing to buy those top player when they become available, players he admires and has watched for a while. I strongly believe if Benzema for example became available then Wenger would go for him. How close did we come to signing Higuan or Suarez? We were close to signing Jovetic aswell apparently. Wenger recognises we need a top striker. The club has announced funds will be availble now debt is paid off.

So with the exception if a Striker, I believe Wenger will continue his policy of Bargains and hidden gems. Which is a huge shame as indeed we are 3/4 players off great things.

CDM I think Wenger sees Wilshere, Ox, Ramsey as future. With Arteta, Flamini and Diaby to provide adequate cover. So no big signings there. RB he'll probs have Jenks first choice and new young backup, such as Serge Aurier (Toulouse) or Sebastian Coricha (Sochuax). I don't believe Vermaelen or Podolski will leave, So apart from J. Campell and maybe another youngster, no additions there.

In short. can't see more than 5 new players or spending £50+ overall.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well its time for him to fin that FA cup and leave, I can't handle any more frustrations.

Rather let him leave and us get a young tactical manager. Manchester United were left handicapped with moyes and that's the last thing we need to bring in someone who is going to keep us at the same level.

Morning guy's and Jenny.

Just been looking at the run in of game's for the teams in the top 4.
I know some of you think your out of contention BUT.
Everton, Hull, Newcastle, West Brom, West Ham and Norwich.

You have already tonked Everton this season and should do so again. The remaining 5 matches are ALL winable.

Do the bookies really see you at 125/1 to win?

There are going to be many twists for Chelsea City and Pool and I can still see you coming up on the rails and maybe just nick it in the final few games.

That's a big price with the run in you have.

Keep the faith. Your still not out of this!

{Ed025's Note - whats with this arsenal liverpool love fest?...we all know arsenal have as much chance as fulham of winning the league, you are rival fans for gods sake!..can we please have a bit more hostility towards each other as all this lovey dovey stuff is making us all sick!..

The problem you see Ed, is that DG came onto our page and was a nice enough guy. Then he went and posted that movie star looking guy on Sightings that is supposed to be him and pheromones are now flying everywhere.

Haha, long may the love-in continue between two proper clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will give you the 2 proper clubs fitz...but come on mate!, where is the hostility and ill feeling we all want to see?, this is football, not dancing on ice or synchronised swimming!..come on fellas(and jenny), its time to get a grip..

It's mutual respect ed
Yes sometimes it gets too much But at end of the day we are all supporters of football and want to see football prevail
Not teams who are built by the money of their owners
Besides which other club is there to maintain good relations with cit and chelsea are csh depending plastic clubs tottenham are too boring and everton and Manchester United well I'd rather support Oldham tyanthem

{Ed025's Note - i can live with respect reet...its the ass licking that makes me want to vomit mate, you never see proper supporters(like everton) behaving in this manner, you will all be wearing dual scarves next!..

Well the thing is ed I believe there is a lack of sensible posters on all the sites and the arsenal site has some sensible ones so there is a lot of respect anong us
But I agree with you there that saying things like if we don't win theb you win is in excess just focus on your team wishing luck is okay
You know the actual reason for all this ed that dagenham fellow came on to our site and acted vey nicely (I still believe he is a liverpool fan) And so all we are trying to do is return the favour
VERDICT-Dagenham is the culprit abd should be publicly flogged and forced to embrace spursism (JUST KIDDING)
Y.N.W.A

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its great that you dont like everton reet, it proves your a real fan, only one team matters mate and thats your own, DG is a nice guy, but as you say he should be made to watch spurs, who are the worst supporters on the planet!.. :)

I think some people have short memories about Liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I know what you're saying ED.

But in a way it's kind of refreshing. Arsenal/Liverpool have never been rivals, at least in the real sense (like with Man u, Everton, spurs, etc ).

What is refreshing after man u dominating for the last 20 years or so and the 2 nouveau riche sugar daddy clubs, to see two proper clubs, at least re-emerging. So I think there's a kind of mutual support for that (ultimately though of course we want our respective clubs to do well though).

It's quite possible that the title/fa cup could go to one of our 2 clubs.

Personally I think it's good for the PL.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will have that LG, and i dont mind arsenal winning the cup, but if liverpool win the league...it will be a nightmare mate..their supporters are already too mouthy for my liking..

Haha great shout Ed. The scousers now end their posts with COYG, and the gooners with YNWA.

YNWA :)

{Ed025's Note - love it MKD..

The Kop were singing the old fave yesterday "sh£t on the Cockneys tonight".

Or are you one of them Blues that never comes over, like my brother, because he knows what he's going to get?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - no mate, im a real scouser, and follow the peoples club..

Lmao.
Anyone but Liverpool you mean.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - got it in one mate.. :)

So Ed025 just because we support different teams the Arsenal fans and the Pool fans cannot have a mutual respect for one another?
I read you replies to sad face up the page, and that is just not the kind of bigoted remarks that you expect from an Ed on these boards.
I suppose you want us at each others throats because you think you have a chance to beat them to 4th spot.
Well god help the CL teams if they are going to have to entertain imbecile supporters like yourself!
As for Arsenal NOT WINNING the EPL the have more chance of doing IT than your bunch of no marks and don't forget Martinez has managed to get you playing above your weight with LOAN SIGNINGS.
I read an interesting article yesterday from The Mail that Everton would be in 11th place with out your loan players.
Maybe next year you may need an oil rich sheik to survive.
I don't expect you will have the courtesy to post this reply BUT at least I have had my say.
I have never heard so much bile and tripe spewed from an ED on here like you have done today.
Is it a case of while Ed001's away the children will play?
vrcomp
Y.N.W.A.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont see my remarks as bigoted mate, i see it as fair banter, respect is one thing, rubbing each others backs and generally drooling over each other has no place in football, and how anyone can work out where we would be without loan signings is totally pathetic, i cant believe that even a liverpool supporter would give that the time of day!..i have given your say my friend, but when you read it back, im sure you will wish i had deleted it!...it really does make you look foolish..

I can HONESTLY say I do not feel foolish.
It is remarks like some of the ones above, and not just from the Ed's either that inflamed hatred on the terraces and caused some of the despicable scenes that were witnessed in the 80's and 90's and did football an awful lot of damage.
Yes I am a Liverpool fan and I am proud of that fact. But some of the posters on the Arsenal page have some thing you probably don't understand.

Changing subject slightly,

Did anybody see that elbow by Fellaini against City?

Absolute disgrace and was obviously done on purpose because he looked at Zabaleta before smashing his elbow into his face.

So, question for the Eds.

I appreciate retrospective action is not taken against players if the ref has dealt with it (in this case a yellow card by ref Michael Oliver), but do you think the FA Panel should make provisions for further retrospective punishment when the misdemeanour is considered "dangerous"?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - leave that one for you guys and girls to debate DG.}

Let the debating begin, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Manchester United have had quite a crappy season, its a bonus if they can get away without any action against fellani.

besides the FA seem biased to top 4 teams.

yaya toure against norwich I think. no punishment. same incident by charlie adam against arsenal = ban

chelsea do something, if not dealt with by the ref, the FA do nothing.

so I would say its some sort of big 4 bias, and we are part of that problem.
