Logically, are we ever going to sign a big name player if we don't qualify for the champions league? I doubt it.

We have chucked away a 10 point lead over Manchester United and a 12 point lead over Everton, to which we are dangerously close to falling into the West Ham, West Brom territory.

Unfortunately, we have owners who do not turn up to any matches and show little interest in how the club is managed or what success it brings, it is all about the money! If we make profit, they're happy!

We need to sign left back. That's obvious! No disrespect to Monreal but its time we had a world class LB to complete our defense!

As for midfield. What a shambles! We need a big strong center midfield player (like Viera or Yaya) to take ownership of the middle line and be a leader! This will allow the likes of Xhaka and Ramsey to play their game and pick out the incredible passes that they're capable of! Currently, they are left to do all the ground work defensively and it is clearly affecting our attacking options!

If Ozil and Sanchez are to stay then we need to make big changes! We need to sign a 25 goal a season outright striker who is proven! Sanchez on the wing to work his magic and Ozil sat behind in No.10! We won't have to worry about who is going to put the ball in the back of the net because we would have a decent striker!

Arsenal FC is slowly on the decline and if these players leave, we will not replace them with anyone of their calibur! Its time for change and Arsene needs to leave. Allegri in, players in and let's get back to where we want to be!

However, if the owners do not stump up the money (which they wont) then it doesn't matter if we get a new manager, it will all stay the same!

Lets see what happens. COYG!

Agree to most of what you are saying, its all pretty obvious ( I just think xhaka is a waste of space) and i've got a funny feeling we will be slippng even further back, when we get the managerial news.

There is a plethora of decent LB out there that would make the grade! Also I would have a punt at Gueye of Everton. Then I feel we need someone to fill cazorlas possition, someone who will carry the ball and start off a move, I like Leon gortezka but is a gamble and still young a striker is for sure and someone more productive on the right. This is all with keeping ozil and Sanchez! An impossible ask probably.

Still don't get it how you can see Ramsey as a part of a big change. he is first to go IMO.

Striker wise. I would happily take Lukaku! Proven goal scorer in the premier league and a big big target man! Scores goals with his head and his feet and it's what we need! Lacazette would be another brilliant signing but he has already said he wants to leave Lyon to play in the champions league so he's not coming. In regards to the midfield (this is will never happen) but we need a player like Rakatic from Barca! Due to financial fair play they have to sell players. Will they sell on the front 3 in the summer? Of course not so maybe someone from their midfield will be sold? Another player I really like that we have been linked too the last couple of years is Rabiot of PSG. Chuck 30 million at them!

Having just read the interview Arsene did with Sky it looks certain his intention is to stay but it's unclear as to why agreement hasn't been reached with the club.
Could it be the club who are undecided?
Arsene did confirm that his interpretation of what he said after the WBA game " you will all know very soon what my intentions for the future are " maybe very different to how we interpret " very soon " :-)
My interpretation of that is he gave an emotional response after that game that he didn't mean and things are maybe not as clear cut as we have been lead to believe on who will call the shots deciding who our manager is next season.

I know what you mean banbury but I think its more than one defeat we are in horrible form. A good win hel say hea staying. Lose top4 looks lost and I think some news breaking.

Could be wrong but I hope im not. Massive for the club the next few games.

Agree Banbury but it will change a few others though. His job is slowly becoming untenable.

I was reading Mark Lawrenson score predictions today and while predicting a draw between us and city Sunday he asks whatever is going on at Arsenal right now and says for a club that has always been so well run in the past what's going on right now is a joke, he right too.
Apparently we are waiting for the right time for Arsene to tell us he's staying on but because there isn't a right time on the horizon right now everyone in football wonders what exactly is happening to Arsenal football club and who is calling the shots, board, manager, players, all of them none of them or is anybody at all got any idea who got the steering wheel.

Wenger is staying, i'm certain of that and I don't think results for better or worse is going to change that.

I agree that is Arsene's intention Sanogo mate and results won't change Arsene's intentions one bit, the only thing that might change is the boards and fans level of support for him to do so.
If that leave of support becomes to low even Arsene can't carry on mate.

Even if we lose 8-0 to city, wenger won't resign still. He is not that type of character and i am afraid that stubborn behaviour is going to cost him his legacy.

Lose 8-0 and I think he'd be taken out.

I still think its on a knife edge him staying or going.

After the old Trafford brawl :

“We went in there and we stuck up for each other. At Arsenal we never, ever started any brawls – we just finished them. ”.

Good morning everybody.

I'm curious to see who Arsenal sign if Sanchez and Ozil leave. I'm edging towards lacazette/ Lukaku/ Morata and Barkley/ Isco/ Wilshire.

I'd like to know who everyone would sign if both Sanchez and Ozil leave. I'm won't be angry if they both leave to clubs outside of England.

People may disagree but I prefer Giroud upfront rather than Sanchez. If you look at the Chelsea game where we lost 3-1, Giroud made more of an impact and was able to make his presence aware to the Chelsea defence.

Thank you for reading and I hope to hear your replies soon.

Hi Daniel I'm not sure who we will be able to attract mate, players have given us a wide berth with champions league football in the past so it won't be easy replacing them or getting the players we needed even if they stayed.
Our best chance is to get a new manager in to show commitment to changing our footballing ambition but i don't think that is going to happen this summer so I'm not really sure how we improve on what we have.

giroud for me no not a fan of him. if its benzema or saurez or lewandowski ok play sanchez behind. giroud tho is a bottler.

we can't replace him im afraid that's the sad truth. who ever gets him goes up a gear.

There's been lots of mentions of wingers/ forward players being looked at but hopefully we'll sign one regardless of the future of Alexis.

Felipe Anderson, Keita Diao, Bernardeschi, Insigne, Reus

Then we've reportedly been looking at midfield options like Naby Keita, Milinkovi-Savic and Allan.
