Ed001,

Re yesterday's posts about comedians.

Who floats your boat in the comedy department?

{Ed002's Note - Ed001 is not around. I liked Lenny Bruce.}

Lenny Bruce?

Wow Ed, controversial to say the least :-)

Peter kay, chubby and I loved robin williams. But I have to admit about 20 years ago I went to see jim davison in his pomp, a la chalky and that rabbiting woman and my wife and I came out with tears rolling down our faces and sides litterally aching with laughing. The American guy rich hall cracks me up. I like so many really.

First comedian I ever saw live was Dave Allen. He was absolutely fantastic. Another who I rate highly is Frank Skinner. He's been around a long while yet is still sharp.

No one could tell a joke like Dave Allen. Had me in stitches. Billy Connolly or Jasper Carrott for story telling. John Candy's improv characters on TV with SCTV. He just had to walk in to view and I would start laughing. Not too many today seem original anymore compared to them.

{Ed007's Note - Dave Allan is a great shout.}

4-0. I'm goimg against my own pessimism about this season to predict the team will come out with a response this week that will spark a good run into Christmas.

This weekend all three of the teams I expect to finish top three
chavs
city
Arsenal
all play teams at home who on paper they should wipe the floor with and expect very hansom wins against, be interesting to see if any struggle with what you'd expect to be 3pt and goal fest bankers

So on today's poll one in three of us don't expect to beat Burnley, now that is pessimistic.
1 I like to think we are better than those figures suggest
2 failing to beat Burnley at home is unimaginable and can't ever be expected, no way are we that bad

They haven't exactly inspired confidence lately.

Burnley? Yes I think we'll beat them. Will we make it easy for ourselves? More than likely not but I hope I'm wrong.

Honestly I think any of the lesser teams are worth money on a draw against us atm. But I do think we're close to gaining some momentum
