So it's Spurs next in the cowebunga cup, brilliant now all we need to do is draw then in the Europa league knock outs and fa cup too :-)

The fa and league cups are nice treats but the league is everyone's bread and butter whether it's survival top 4 or title chasing.
Top 4 in season one under Dick?
For me that would be fantastic and way beyond what I thought possible in August, long way to go but so far so very good.
Results against Liverpool City Chelsea are always a bonus but for us Utd and Spurs it will come down to who slips up least v the other 14 teams and so far we are extremely strong in that department but with 3/ 4 of the season still to come it's anyone's call who will be 4th place trophy winners this season.

Top 5 and a cup would be good for season one.
I remember no one being happy with 4th and another FA Cup but got to leave the past behind us.
Long term we need to be top 3 and a trophy - not next season but after that. Emery is progressing well but defence is still a 💩 show
Would rather FA Cup or EL than League cup though - want a real cup.

Personally I want to be challenging for the title by year 3 or 4 of Dicks tenure.
This season for me top 4 would be a real bonus while top 6 would be acceptable at a push for season ome.
Next season we have to be top 4 or within a whisker of it and then years 3 to 4 we simply have to challenge for the title for anything to be different.
We are a huge club who are currently not operating at our best, Dick walked into a club who were in pretty poor shape for our size and he or no one can put that right over night but he has make us title competitive within 4 seasons at the absolute outside or make way for someone else, we mustn't be silly by expecting too much too soon but equally we should never again accept to little for far too long as we did from Arsene.
