i don't care what people say despite that comeback, we are not good enough to win the league so if anyone thinks we are then i think you need your heads testing.

great teams with the desire and ambition to win titles would have finished off everton and city and not choked.
and our performance tonight, especially in the first half was a disgrace

the only time the team will step up is when the top 4 spot is at risk then we will look like world beaters

and sorry if first part of my post had offended anyone who believes in this team and manager still but sorry we ain't going to win league and be a success in europe under wenger.

Mark, I don't disagree with you although I still want Spurs to win tomorrow because until mathematically it's impossible - I still have to believe. That and the squad is bloody good enough and Wenger is also but for some reason we fail to turn up for a half or for a game for no great reason. We were called a "bully" club and they are probably right. We look big and strong but on their day they can be taken down by an opponent with a slightly better attitude or simply stronger.
On a positive note - we haven't played well yet all season with the exception of the very odd game or odd 30 minutes.
On a negative note - we haven't played well yet.

We aren't good enough, that's a fact and everyone is entitled to think otherwise, but our seasons are so predictable and so is our manager.

the thing is SY4 this happens to many times at arsenal
where we have had the chance to make a statement and show we mean business and we have gone from having the chance to go top recently to ending up 8 points behind 1st place
and there has been many seasons where its the same old

if this team had any motivation and spirit to win anything then they would have finished off city and everton because they were there for the taking.

We didn't deserve a point tonight. Bournemouth out played us, worked harder and deserved all 3.

Bellerin is a firm favourite but mistakes tonight that cost us. Caught out of position for Daniels' goal is sloppy but is just an error. Being pushed off the ball was avoidable though as he was trying to shield the ball and should've just cleared it and its those kind of mistakes that keep costing us. I'm fine with xhaka being firm in midfield but not in the box, especially not a goal down in a game we need to win. That said, and I can't recall, but hoping he wasn't covering another of bellerin's poor positioning tonight?

Perez looking decent though. Ox too and good he's working hard on defensive duties. Xhaka still looking clumsy and needs someone to have a word.

With all due respect, perez and ox looking decent, to what level. We won't win anything with ox, perez and the xhakas of this world. Top four maybe but that's all.

For me that gaurantees a new manager next season. Wenger has spent 100 mil and not improved us one iota. Exactly the same problems and wasted good transfet money on bang average one dimentional players. Allied the ability of being poor still when we haven't got the ball. Bye bye wenger hello simeone.

Believable9 Unbelievable2

04 Jan 2017 07:33:54
Ok question for all (all gooners that is) -do you really want Simeone as our next manager? I am watching La Liga quite often and I do hate the way Atletico is playing. defending all game playing on counter attacks. against every single team. i really don't want to see Arsenal playing that way.

Agree2 Disagree3

04 Jan 2017 10:59:44
No i'd rather have wenger whose teams attack gung ho and can't defend to save their lives and will never win the league or champs league because they are too flakey.

04 Jan 2017 11:24:02
Lets have more flakey football and spineless teams.

In that case we should get Tony Pulis, he might fit just right for you Steve :-)

All aboard the champions league or bust express now then lads.
Top four chasing in the first week of January, yawn
Talking the FA cup up as the trophy everyone wants, really
But our second only champions league final, that's an exciting prospect.
Let's go for that first and foremost now IMO.

Chelsea will make 85 points Steve and in the unlikely event they don't whoever finishes above them will.
We would need to take 44 points from a possible 54 available for that to be us mate.
Yup I'd say that ship has left without us again mate, a little earlier than usual but it's not unheard of over the last decade.
Bayern Munich are not all they have been in recent years Dags mate and when we can get the whole team up for it on the same field on the same day we can be a very good side on those occasions, Chelsea 3 0 this season Utd 3 0 last season and City both home and away in recent seasons.
Consistency isn't our trade mark but we can if the wind is blowing in the right direction at the time full moon while play school are looking through the round window and Mr Ben is dressed as an Indian be quite a handful for anyone.

Well, well, well. that was a hell of a game. It's a shame Coquelin got injured but that could be a blessing in disguise as Wenger wouldn't have to play Ramsey on the wings rather than playing him next to Xhaka. Coquelin needs to add to his game as it's really important these days for DMs to be able to keep possession and that's why i prefer Elneny-Xhaka parternership over Coq-Xhaka sometimes. I pleased with the fighting spirit we have in the team, however our defence was really poor. We need Ramsey's energy in the middle of the park. A bit disappointed we didn't win this game as thought earlier. Hope wenger and the team learn from their mistakes.

Steve I have said all along Xhaka was a huge waste of money from the day we got him and got hammered on here by Red a few. To this day I'm still wondering why the H*** did buy him .

But again my mate Giroud comes up trumps, and to this day again I don't get why so many dislike him.

03 Jan 2017 23:54:53
Banbury I understand you like giroud and giroud is a good striker good not great. He will always do a job as back up or cover, that's it, that's his limit.

Willy really? Ramsey was poor showing once again. what kind of energy are you talking about? he was slow as usual, no passion. but so was half of the squad really. we really need Santi back and badly.

Great fight back after very poor first half display. We now have to bring Jack back from Bournemouth loan to cover our injury pile up.

R. G. what do you want tomorrow night after Arsenal failed to beat 10 men Bournemouth, a win for Chelsea put's them 11 points ahead and if spurs, win we'll be 3rd and you'll be out of the top 4 so a draw will be heaven for you. I bet you are not laughing about man Utd now as they are right on your case as well now.

OK. We have to go and beat Bournemouth. It's last Prem game for 10 days so we just have to summon up every ounce of energy. But on Chelsea. It will be interesting to see how Spurs deal with Chelsea's 3 at the back. It's only a matter of time before some team cracks it. Stoke scored twice at the bridge so hopefully teams will play positively against them.

A Draw is what i'm hoping for in that one!

Don't worry boys Harry Kane and dele alli will sort out the Chelsea defence and i think spurs will score at least 3 goals, I have to agree with Wenger in the football schedule how can Arsenal play 4 o clock on Sunday and play again tonight, when Chelsea don't play till tomorrow after playing 3 o clock on Saturday.

Leahy,
When you started your run, you were in 6th place.
6 wins on the bounce and you are still 6th.

Nice to know even the mighty Man Utd are happy to just finish in top 4.
