I know this isn't arsenal related but I have never seen a transfer rumour about Manuel Neuer wanting out, every season it you see rumours about Messi or Ronaldo possibly being on the move but never him. I'm actually surprised Lacazette is coming too us, Arsene must be fantastic at convincing players to join because as horrible as it sounds for this season it is a step back for him in terms of CL football but I guess it's about the bigger picture rather than what's going on now. I see the Mahrez rumours coming back but I hope to god it's just rumours, I don't rate him any higher than what we currently have and for the money I'd prefer Lemar tbh.

If anything like our recent record they will all either rot in the reserves or be loaned out and never seen or heard of again. Mainland-Niles and Rene-Adelaide look like they had something about them last season. I really hope they get a chance next season. To do so I feel we need to let Wilshire and Walcott go otherwise they will just push both players further down the squad.

Eds. I'm finding it hard to understand why we are letting Ospina go. I think he has played really well. Unless we are looking at a replacement for Cech and demoting him.
I remember a little while ago there was a rumour that we were looking at Scmeichel.
Would you know if that rumour has completed faded away or whether it's still on the burner? .

It sure is a shame when a sportsman wants to play instead of sat on a bench. I personally don't like players who want to play I wish they would just keep there mouths shut and sit in the bench quietly lol . It's hard for a keeper because been a sub goalie is a different world to been a sub outfield player.

I did think that Ed. I'd expect him to get someone more a long term prospect rather then someone older such as Robert green as the press have been saying.

Sounds like Lacazette is on his way, although I expect Sanchez will leave, which is such a shame as a forward line containing Lacazette and Sanchez would be awesome. If Ox's agent wants to play games, then sell and replace him. Quite frankly the English players have been a huge disappointment in general. The problem is that you can only have 17 non-homegrown players in the squad, plus 'youngsters', so you need up to 8 homegrown players to complete the squad, but how many of our current homegrown 'overage' players would make the starting eleven?

Seems as if Lacazette and Mahrez are both going to be joining Kolasinac this window, on the front of it, seems like great business, however if Alexis is going, it doesn't seem like we have built on this team, just replaced Alexis in aggregate. So my question to you lot is;

Do you see any more arrivals this summer to build on this squad, because to me, I think we need to replace Cazorla, Oxlade, Walcott, Wishere, a new back up right back and keeper and maybe a new centre half if Mertersacker is retiring. That's a lot of transfers considering Wenger has said he doesn't like to disrupt the team cohesion by buying more than 3-4 players a season/ window.

Next season we could line up so forth;
Cech
Holding Kos mustafi
Bellerin xhaka Ramsey Kolenasic
Ozil mahrez
Lacazette

Thats a good team! Especially if Sanchez stays! (Can't see it happening) but can that win the league?

I feel unless an offer comes in from abroad or a crazy crazy offer from within the EPL then Sanchez will stay . I think we need to address the santi cazorla possition this summer. I'd like Leon goretzka.

To be fair on paper that team has potential but apart from Cech and Kos Belerin which player doesn't have a huge question mark hanging over him?
Mesut is brilliant but can disappear Holding has done well but is still unproven over a premier league campaign, Ramsey? Mustafi? Xhaka? All the new players?
A title challenge would be a lot to expect as it would depend on huge improvement from so many players but top 4 and the Europa league would be a brilliant season imo.
Again just in my opinion forget all about titles for this season and just look for genuine signs of an improved hunger desire and mentality from the team plus a cup or maybe even 2 cups :-)

I'm with you steve! The price he would fetch now to the price of CL football is one in the same. i feel it's a shot to nothing! Hopefully he will want to be a part of a team that is going forward. If he wants to go free there's a good chance that he will attract more clubs abroad. Hey ho whatever we need to stop fretting over it and focus on moving forward. As fans we are all to used to saying that our team bottles it but the whole club bottles it fans as well. There's a lot of wet knickers in the stands over the Sanchez situation so can I please ask the fans not to bottle it!

Sanogo mate, I just wanted to point out that if there are wet knickers, people are most definitely NOT bottling it. In fact, that is the complete opposite of bottling.

Oh and sell Sanchez, keep Sanchez, it makes no difference. As a player, I think he's brilliant, but I just don't have time for users. We were good enough when he needed a way out of near obscurity. He got a platform to show the world just how good he is and now "he just wants to win things"! Not buying it, sorry.
