Diego simione, get the guy signed. I will wait one year if we sign him and let him learn English. Force wenger to spend the Β£150 warchest and bobs your uncle. Ok I've relented. But only if my demands are met.

{Ed025's Note - im sure the club will be happy that you are willing to bend a bit steve, and look forward to seeing the "steve is happy" banners at the next game.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your like scrooge steve, vilified for being mean and miserable then you get visited by the ghost of ED025 and you turn into this magnanimous friendly arsene loving pillar of society...protests=humbug.. :)

03 May 2016 22:29:14
If I had 150 million I would pay it just to see you happy and put your happiness on my shelf with some of my other favorite items which are hens teeth and rocking horse shizzle πŸ‘πŸ».

Agree0 Disagree0

04 May 2016 09:47:36
Steve r - why would Simeone leave Athletico? Does he speak English? Wenger will not spend the funds and will buy one or two top players at best. Any others will be youngsters. He will also possibly sell some players, possibly; Ospina, Gibbs, Oxlade, Giroud, Campbell, Gnabry. He will not change his methods. He will bring through more youngsters, Reinne-Adelaide for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i know that TPG but with your failure it does taste of sour grapes mate, there is a classy way to give stick and on the whole arsenal are very good at it, this year they are clearly the better side which makes the stick given seem a little bitter.. :)

04 May 2016 19:23:33

03 May 2016 21:09:48
True Raver but there's only 1 club in Leicester and they topped the rest of the country put together, suddenly being the top club in London doesn't seem such a big deal does it? Corsa it don't :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 22:26:54
Youve waited hundreds of years to say that raver and like your league challenge, be for a very short time. After all the punishments are dished out for the bash at the bridge, your reserves will get tonked by southampton and Newcastle.

What on earth clattenburg and his officials were doing last night i don't know. What an awful refereeing performance. Spuds should have been down to 6 men with their out of control antics. The refereeing at times in the prem is laughable. They get paid for that and super star money too.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 11:56:15
Sometimes i feel the players too have letdown Wenger for putting his trust in them. And to the fans, they've been letdown by Wenger. Lots of people blame fans for voicing out their frustrations forgetting that these same fans supported the club thro' the tough times. It's i think we're growing tired of this stagnation (3rd or 4th place) and being so predictable. Everyone now knows arsenal to be a team who will sit on top of the league and come 3rd or 4th at the end, get knocked out in the 1/ 16th of CL. We're better than this and these things must change. We have to get things right and it starts right from the players (mental strength) down thro' each department at club and to the fans (creating an awesome atmosphere) . I hope we have an amazing season next time.
Lastly, i think the story of leicester should transformed into a movie so the lads could watch and gain self-belief lol.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

03 May 2016 12:28:16
Leicesters story will be part of the history school curriculum in 50 years, with world war 2 and kings and queens of england. Raneri will be knighted this new year, it is an amazing achievement and won't ever be bettered in football terms. Rock bottom of the prem 14 months ago, kings of the prem today. Rocky bilboa eat your heart out.

03 May 2016 08:41:25
NE and raver mate, i can feel the pain in your hearts lol. It's been spuds' best chance to win the league too. I bet you'd have to await another 20years to come competing this tight. Till then, #enjoythepain.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

03 May 2016 09:49:07
Love it Willy :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2016 10:02:11
I've a feeling they might not disappear so quickly Willy, unlike Liverpool a couple of seasons back they haven't been playing above them selfs or been almost totally reliant on one outstanding player to make them competitive they've actually been a very strong unit.
Poch has built very well very quickly and even if they did lose Kane which they probably won't I feel Poch would ajust them accordingly.
They have raised their game and I think others including ourselves will need to raise ours rather than rely on spuds fading away as one season wonders.
Just my opinion but I think Spurs are going to be very much in contention for the next few seasons whether we like it or not and it's up to us and others to be better than them rather than hope they become worse than us.
Personally I think a strong Spurs is just what was needed at Arsenal to bring about a much needed increase in urgency to up our own game and expectations.

Agree4 Disagree0

03 May 2016 10:19:36
Let me get this right dags! You love willy?

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2016 12:38:47
I amy be alone in this but i just don't get the plaudits to spurs this season, they like us have failed to deliver, they have won nothing. Before a ball was kicked this season if we knew that arsenal, utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and city would all suffer in the league all losing 7 or more games then Tottenham would have been everybody's favourite to win the league, poss Everton as these are the 2 teams that have been knocking of the door for the longest. and this season their wishes have come true and they have not delivered.
they have played so very good football at time and i like poch but again he has delivered nothing yet and went out at home to their biggest footballing enemies, can you imagine if Wenger had gone out to Tottenham in the cup this season?

03 May 2016 14:18:34
SLB please could you find out the whereabout of NE and raver? Perchance they have been kidnapped by chelsea fans. I'm pretty sure they went to the stadium yesterday.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 14:45:45
Absolutely, Pochettino is a hero for finishing 2nd or 3rd, whilst going out in the early rounds of both domestic cups, one to mighty Arsenal and failing in the second rate EL, Whilst some fans want Wenger out, despite doing better in every competition, except possibly finishing one place and one win behind the Toot. I suppose it sums up the expectations at both clubs.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2016 14:54:45
Rg for once i agree. Two miracles in two days.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2016 16:17:09
There probably thinking long and hard how to put a positive spin on a dire run in and sugest that they have somehow had a better season than Arsenal when in truth they have had a better season than they usually have which is the same as our typically poor season. Trust me they will be convincing themselves stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 16:36:49
Sano they have something to cling onto, like us, but next season will be normal service resumed as far as man u citeh and chelski are concerned, spuds won't only be chasing Leicester that's for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 15:00:43
Didn't the mighty Arsenal lose to Sheffield Wednesday and Watford in respective cups lol, you are clutching at straws big time, you are in decline mate face up to it.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 18:09:16
Didn't little Toot lose at home to mighty Arsenal in the League Cup and at home to Crystal Palace in an earlier round than mighty Arsenal in the FA Cup, as well as going out in the second rate Europa League, thrashed 5-1 by Dortmundt?
Been applying for next season's season tickets at Leicester yet? At least you could see a club that has won the PL, this century! The pain at The Lane just goes on.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2016 18:28:23
SLB, those chances for a typical spurs performance come once in every 20years lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 18:34:26
Raver, The pain is lesser when you not in the final when you are. You did well chasing leicester until the stole it under you nose. You got robbed mate. The pain you feel is twice ours. And oh we gunners are used to it already.
#enjoythepain.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2016 07:46:10
It will be interesting to see the final run in for us. If we avoid defeat against City, then 3rd place is ours for the taking. City have a hard task in Madrid, so we have a serious chance of winning. Whilst it will be interesting to see how the Toot cope with losing the title last night, despite being two up. They will be without Alli (suspended) , Dembele may be suspended for his diabolical eye gouging incident, Alderweirald and Rose are injury concerns. In additition Pochettino may face sanctions for repeatedly entering the field of play.

Whilst Southamton are chasing a EL place on the back of beating Man City. In the final matches, we should have enough to beat relegated Villa, but the Toot have a though away match at improving Newcastle. My gut feeling is that the Toot will have enough to beat Southampton and secure 2nd place, but you never know. It would particularly amusing to finish above them and secure 2nd place. In any event the at the lane just goes on.

Believable5 Unbelievable13

03 May 2016 14:57:56
If we are in pain, Arsenal must be on life support lol, have you seen the league table?

Agree2 Disagree1

03 May 2016 03:31:32
Did I hear correctly Chelsea with 5 minutes to go were playing for the draw. That is an embarrassment. Come on your mid table. I hope Chelsea keep those bunch of losers.

Congrats to Leicester, I must say I didn't believe it could happen. I think this year all the teams were a disappointment outside of Tottenham they exceeded expectations but that's not hard when you finish 6 th all the time. Jk raver and NE.

Was there really much of a point difference from Tottenham this year and last or did all the big names disappoint?

I love what Arsene has done for the club but if there was a viable replacement I would go with change. I don't see one out there. I just hope he realizes that this his team is not good enough. I still believe it is the players that play and these guys really do not know how to win when it counts. Not all of them but the team as a whole. Some of the goals we give up there is no excuse for. Good night all.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

03 May 2016 12:35:53
Darren he builds teams now that are flakey, why I don't know but in truth since vierra left, he has done all he can never to go down that route again and slowly drifted to the style of football we play today. I know footbal has changed a lot over the years but you still have to have a really strong core that is there just to boss the physical side of the game and look like they enjoy it.

Agree4 Disagree1

03 May 2016 02:17:04
Huge congrats and respect to Leicester City and Claudio Ranieri - who has always seemed a really nice guy and one of footballs nearly men, they really shook up the world and proved almost anything in life is achievable! A real Rocky Balboa style fairytale - very well done to Leicester City from all us gooners! deserved premier league champions!

Congrats to Leicester and also plaudits must go to Chelsea, even i jumped up when Hazard scored. Chelsea, like ourselves (well me anyway) didn't care if they played for a draw or win as long as 'cock on a ball' got hope taken away from them. I celebrated yesterday as if we won the league.

Anyway, just to let you know we can officially say, we beat the Champions twice this season. Just saying.

Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners,

Lets begin with a heartfelt congratulations to Leicester City.

I like most didn't even give them a second glance when the season began but they sure have me paying attention now.

A special congrats to Mr. Claudio Ranieri, a gentleman, a throw back, a perceived elder statesman winning his first Premier league title at the ripe old age of 64, perhaps old dogs can learn new tricks.

And speaking of old dogs what of our very own, the wiley old Sir Arsene Wenger.

After months of being told that everyone under the sun wanted him out the volume of protest was somewhat muted, but where does that leave us?

Clearly the AOB may have more bark that bite but does that mean they're wrong?

As a Arsenal supporter who believes that no individual is larger than the club, I personally feel Arsene overall has a done a fantastic job at the club and I am not in a rush to see him leave.

However, are we in need of fresh ideas, a change in tactics and most importantly can Arsene deliver?

After watching Ranieri and Leicester this year I saw a manager who at initial glance didn't appear to do much differently than he has in the past which has from all accounts shown great faith in his players.

Claudio has always come across as a gentleman who manages accordingly, so how did it Leicester do it?

Well for one I think we can all agree his players played to their capabilities, maybe even greater. From Kante to Vardy to Mahrez each had a fantastic season. When was the last time we had each of our players perform to their capabilities?

At work i'm responsible for my performance and those in a senior position should add value to my improvement, inevitably it begins with myself. As such when are we going to point the fingers squarely at our players?

I know many will say Arsene signed these players and as such their inevitable successes and failures reside with him, but doesn't that make a convenient excuse for the players, Arsene is seemingly not being excused for his lack of contribution so I ask why are we not expressing our venom beyond Theo and Olivier as to our failings?

As for the owner, it appears that many times a non involved owner is exactly what a fan base would want. From Mike Ashley to Mark Cuban sports is littered with over involved owners. Kroenke for the most part stays away and let's those he trusts run the club, and it appears they meet his objectives as there has not been much change in personnel with the club.

As such I return back to the million pound question where do we go from here?

Well for me it begins this off season. I strongly believe we need to action the following:

1. New Central Defender - We need a leader in our back 4 in the mould of Adams and Campbell. On paper I like our back 4, but for me none of them represents leave it on the pitch leadership.

2. Striker - I like Giroud, Wellbeck and even Theo as secondary strikers but we need a game changer. I know they don't grow on trees, but hell until recently many of us didn't know who Vardy was.

3. Cutting the fat - i'm not advocating selling all our players but perhaps sending some of them on loan to give us time to decide would help. Theo, OX, Campbell, Chambers, Gibbs, all appear to be on the fringe and a new change of scenery may be helpful not only to them but us supporters who are frustrated with their lack of performance.

4. New Arsene - I think Arsene could benefit from a change in style. We all know as we get older we get more set in our ways, but i think it would behoove Arsene to stop being so diplomatic and be more direct. If we suck, say we suck, stop with the sugar coating.

5. An end to the Arsene in/ out debate and more unity in supporting the club. I can't tell you how many irrelevant arguements I've had with fellow Gooners.

Ultimately these wasted arguments I believe has resulted in a toxic environment in the club and I believe is being felt on the pitch.

We are all supporters and perhaps we should focus more on supporting the club instead of arguing with each other.

And on a final note St. Totteringhams day may be late but rest assured it'll be here on the final day of the year!

Im out!

Believable4 Unbelievable2

03 May 2016 07:43:40
I do agree with the arguments needing to stop! Both sides have laid their stalls out and neither is going to change the others minds! We all have to accept that wenger is here 1 more year and we need to get behind the side.
