He is part of our past and our greatest manager todate and gave me fantastic memories that will probably never be bettered as far as football goes.
Emery is the future and he’s started off great and given us hope again. Still a long way to cast a shadow on our greatest manager.
Sure you weren’t saying that but thought I would share some banter and opinion.

I agree on all points SY mate, Arsene was and remains our greatest ever manager.
I'm sure he watched today's game and each game this season and realises more and more where he went wrong in the later years of his time in charge, he got to close to the woods to see the trees in the end but I'm sure with chance to reflect he sees things more and more clearly now.
As you say mate that was then and this is now but what a first 8 years he gave us and I very much doubt we ever see another period like that again at our great club, that's the bit we should remember and let the recent past go, not sweep it under the carpet and pretend it didn't happen but not dwell on it now change is here.

Just wanted to say good game to you lot. I think it was a fair result. You remind me of us a couple years back (actually probably farther ahead) in that we would outplay the other team for large portions of the game but just got a bit top heavy and let the opponent have too many chances. Was the first time in a few years I didn't necessarily expect us to win as well.
Emery seems to have you all moving forward quickly. I think this is our year but both of us will possibly have to remain patient at times this season. Good luck the rest of the season (except at Anfield) and enjoy the football!

Jurgen has done a brilliant job with you boys and while we are in the very early stages under Dick I do agree that after 11 games Dick has managed to do even better than Jurgen at this stage.
If not next season then the one after that we have every reason to think we can challenge once again at hhe very top of the premier league.

Well done Klopp - could have wined and moaned about the disallowed goal but concentrates on what he can control:
Sadio Mane's disallowed goal: "There is only one person who can answer the question and that's the linesman. That's football. If he thought the first situation was offside then I think he was wrong.
"But it's not going to change and we made more mistakes than the referee. It would have been cool if this goal could count. "

Swings and roundabouts SY mate, all officials make mistakes and sometimes they go for you and sometimes against you but over a season there isn't usually that much in it either way.

Liverpool fan, Emery has got you playing great football with a bit of spirit. A few years ago we would of won that 4-1 as your heads would of dropped. A few reinforcements in defence and you will be a real force. DRaw was fair but think we may regret it as city won’t drop many points. Think you have a real shot at top four and think you will win the Europa too.
As for the officials you win some and lose some, think he was awful for both sides all game tbh.

Xhaka and Torreira outstanding today worked very very hard Ozil needs to be left out sorry but he dosent do anything, people on this page seem to have a go at players when Ozil doesn’t bring anything to this team the odd performance doesn’t help, slate away.

{Ed001's Note - I don't see what Ozil did so wrong that he needs to be dropped. The worst player on the pitch for Arsenal was Mkhitaryan, his touch is appalling and cost Arsenal chances on at least two occasions. He offers nothing going forward other than spurned opportunities. Ozil won the ball back, he got stuck in, he played some nice passes but still he is the one to blame. I just don't get why so many footballing Neanderthals are so lacking in any knowledge of the game that they get on his case constantly.
One more thing, Torreira is a delight. What a player he is.}

Fantastic results and performance against the second best team in England by some distance.
Incredible transformation in Arsenal after just a quater of a season under our new manager.
We might not be brilliant it every game but we turn up fight and compete in every game and for me that's more than enough to be happy about for now.
Arsenal football club are back in the business of being ambitious on the football field.

We are competitive in every game again and that's something to celebrate no matter how this game ends mate.
City are the only side to make us look out of our depth so far this season over 90 minutes and that was in Dicks very first game.
The improvement is enormous on what we've been used to the last 10 seasons against the big and smaller clubs.

So, you know we can't defend for toffee.
We know Liverpool can score for fun.
We are at home and have a decent record there but torn to shreds in a matter of 15 minutes like Fowler did to us in 97 - we were so bad, Fowler asked the referee not to award a Pool a penalty. 💧
Do we put a bit of extra steal in midfield and try to concede less or do we try to our score Pool. ride the storm and then make changes or go for the jugular from the start?
Leno to start and we need Sokratis ( he's won me around - I was wrong ) , Torriera, Laca, Auba and Ozil to be 🔥🔥🔥.

I hope we turn up in the first half, if we play the first half like our recent games they could be out of sight by half time, if we lose Utd will only be 2pts behind us even though they've been terrible!

Its november, we are playing a direct rival, we have problems in defence andwe have unjury problems in defence. Nothing new then, not sure what to expect today, we can hurt Liverpool, quite easily but the same can e said of them. I don't expect a 0-0, i don't expect a clean sheet from us, i just hope lacca auba and ozil are on form because i think to get a result we will have to score at least two. The defence still has too much wenger influence in it at the moment. Arguably this game is a bonus game because Liverpool are not our rivals as far as position is concerned yet.

Steve, to get 3 points; we will need to score 3 as Pool will put 2 past our defence today. I can’t see us keeping them to less than 2 goals. every team has torn threw our defence with ease this season and we’ve been saved by poor finishing or great keeping. Pool won’t be so wasteful plus will expose even more holes than the poor sides before them.
We will get to see if Emery has improved us.

Liverpool are much better at the back than they were so I think a high scoring free for all is a thing of the past when it comes to Liverpool conceeding.
I don't think we can simply just hope to outscore then now days, if we are to get anything from this game we are going to have to be good or very lucky at the back and at our best up top.
