Excellent result yesterday and nice of the Toot to help us by beating Man City and closing the gap to 2 points.
I was concerned that we didn't rest any players yesterday. Iwobi in particular looked jaded . Within a matter of days we had played Chelsea and Basel, we clearly needed fresh legs in the team.

I hope that none of our internationals get injured and that Coquelin, Ramsey and Giroud return fit after the break. The strength of our squad showed yesterday when we able to play Xhaka in place of injured Coquelin and then bring on Elneny to replace Xhaka. Hopefuly Walcott and Ox's confidence will grow having been selected for the England squad.

What happened to our attack today - no urgency, poor runs, terrible touches, sideways passing, miss passes from 5 yards? I mean - Theo, Santi, Iwobi, Ozil, Sanchez, Granit were all hopeless. Nacho and Bellerin weren't any better going forward - so many backward passes : (

no such thing a lucky points SY4, yes that was not our best performance, prob close to our worst this season on a technical ability side of things, however the team have kept trying to score for 94 min, even when things are not going well, not conceded a silly goal and come away from home with 3 points against a team that do not conceded many goals at home at all. ( sure i read somewhere 5 goals in there lazy 15 home matches! )

Udt wish they could have had that result yesterday, so do madrid, so do barca. it was a good well fought 3 points, even more so when we have not played as well as we have been the last few weeks.

What I find funny is look how many games we dominate but we can't score or win the game. Look at Man utd they dominated stoke and got a point. Football is a results game the results matter the most not always the performance as past seasons have shown us I really can't stand fans moaning that we played crap and won the game yet when we play amazing and lose or draw your still going to chat crap. It's a no win situation and its quite embarrassing.

XxC - I didn't explain myself properly.

I am very happy we won and very happy we can win ugly.

The fact we can defend and scrap a hard earned 3 points is great.

I was concerned that our pressing and slick attack disappeared because I believe we need to be consistent and get some momentum.

I agree that to win the league we need to play well and win as well as play poorly and win. Yesterday was the later.
