Ed any chance in ciprian marica being brought in to beef up the attacking options? {Ed027's Note - possible, but we do have Bendtner, Park, Afobe...all these have points to prove, all these were expected to leave, there's also Akpom and Sanogo, whilst Theo and Poldi will rotate with Giroud. Same could be said about Frimpong, Yenaris, Boateng...these boys were suppose to move on

when we had cesc he was the best midfielder in the EPL. then he left us and went home.

then Silva came to the EPL, I was jelous. and then Mata came to the EPL, and I was even more jelous. then we got cazorla. who I rate highly. as an all around player but he seems to fade in the big games. but at worst he was 3rd best or tied 2nd.

now we have Ozil. and i'm not even going to calm down my excitement. he has not kicked a ball and he is already the best midfielder in the EPL.

just mindblasting.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't forget, He's the youngest out of all of them and soon we will have the 2 best midfielders in the league with Mr. jack Wilshere

Right then Gunners- Think this one over - beating rubbish Spurs was satisfying on Sunday but. this will be nearly as good if not up there with Sunday. November 2nd. Vs Liverpool at the Emirates- Liverpool will be having delusions of challenging for the title and on that day we'll be in prime position to bring them crashing down to earth, trust me.,, I think they'll have dropped points by then and will be level-ish with Us if not behind and on a drawing or losing streak so wether we get them whilst they're down or whilst they're flying high it will still be equally as satisfying to put them in their place. what do you reckon?!?! I can't wait.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yep we will give them a good stuffing and the games on my birthday so happy days all round

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you're getting a little ahead of yourself there Leegun. A lot of points to be won and lost between now and then. What makes Liverpool delusional about challenging for the league? Think they have as much chance as you lot to be honest! A lot can happen in football as we have just seen with the transfer of Ozil to you. How many people on here ever thought you would sign him on Sunday? 100% nobody but you have and great signing by the way. You can't predict what the scenario will be in 6/7 games time because you just never know what can happen. Anyway, Suarez and Sturridge will rip your poor defence apart like a wet paper bag. Will have to wait and see I guess.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll be sure to mark it on my calendar. What a difference 1 signing makes!

Agree0 Disagree0

You will have both Ozil and Suarez at the Emirates then. dream come true. or your biggest nightmare?

Agree0 Disagree0

One did predict it, he may of been high but I am sure the chosen one malaga gooner fore told this prophecy

cesc fab said RM have just sold their 2nd best player>>>compliment or what?
ps most of the RM players are pi55ed off ozil was sold, they love him. arbeloa said ozil is "a one off, there's no player like him on the planet" and I think it was sergio ramos who said he's "king of the assists". oh, sweet jesus

Would you be on your high horse if spurs had bought him naaa don't think so and how many English players did spurs buy this summer.bitter much?

Hi eds and Goons

Ozil? Why? my humble opinion is. Arsene might now move back to 4-4-2 with a midfield of Santi left, Ozil at CAM, Rambo as the box to box(Flamini or Arteta for more defensive games) and Jack right(Where he plays best) that would put Theo and Giroud up top, a Striker with pace and a target man will keep defense unsettled. Remember now lads Mesut said he was convinced by Arsene and the AMBITION, so if Theo doesn't work out and Arsenal are better of than Liverpool in Jan, we'll go all out for Suarez, World class and won't be Cup tied for the CL, Think Bergkamp-Henry, think Ozil-Walcott or Ozil-Suarez. Now if we can get to Jan with all players back from injury we're looking at Theo, Giroud, Podolski, Santi, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta, Flamini, Sagna(Who is a damn fine CB when needed!) Jenkinson, Mert, Kos, TV5, Gibbs and Monreal. That's actually a fantastic squad lads PS Let's hope Viviano(Almunia's twin bro) can push and teach Shez to be the No 1 he's capable of being. Overall things will pretty good chaps.

COYG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Durban sounds good to me

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the 4-2-3-1 formation is working well. doesn't leave us open at the back, when defending, and when we have possesion and are attacking it goes into a 4-3-3. I like the current formation to say a 4-4-2. which means we need effective wingers, the only one we have is theo.

4-4-2 also means that the fullbacks don't bomb forwards, unless we are playing against a weaker team where they can, effectively making it a 3-5-2. like Manchester United do, when evra bombs forward, or rafael. never both. unless your really chasing a game.

anyway I think ozil is going to be amazing.

i really don't think we will land suarez.

for me the ideal player would be aguero. and I know how difficult it would be land him, but with them having 4 strikers, and possibly struggling to meet FFP, perhaps next summer we can make a move for him and see what happens.

i really do not see madrid getting suarez, unless benzema leaves.

lets see how the season goes. and how we do in dec, and if we have any plans to make additions in the jan window.

for me Ozil with the two dots on the O and Aguero with the two dots on the U. would be a lethal combo. and regarding the rest of the positions, I think rambo and wilshere will do fine as a duo playing deep.

A friend of Van Persie, is quoted as saying,

Robin isn't happy and when that's the case he can't hide it on the pitch.

When he's frustrated he is capable of doing something silly, and you could see that against Liverpool.

He feels it isn't the same with the new manager as he misses working with Fergie, who he really loved playing under.

Some of Moyes' training methods are not to his liking either.

Priceless.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi
haha:) excellent!
now the question is - since we have made signings to strengthen our team - ROBIN
would we take him back?:)
hmmm :)
COYG andi:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't take him back. I forgive some for leaving but after sticking by him for so long to be treated that way after 1 good season leaves a bitter taste.

I think we would take him back in a heart beat. Talent wise.

I want all of you fantastic gooners to mull over this for the next few months.

i posted about being told about ronaldo at a night club opening in madrid I went to this summer and it got put on dodgy rumours, that's ok I did not expect anything less.

was told he wants a move to london.

told he's interested in arsenal and wengers very interested in him.

told ozil knows this, told it was a major factor in him signing.

Hello Ed, hope you are doing well.

I had a thought that I would like your take on:

Do you think that the reason why our squad is so small is that FFP kicks in next summer? Meaning that Wenger knows that there will be a lot of big clubs trying to offload players in order to become compliant with FFPR? Could we end up getting some top quality players for bargain prices?

Ozil still hasn't sunk in, amazing buy.
Thanks as always, {Ed013's Note - All eds are fine matey as we hope you are as well. Arsenal are miles behind teams like Man City, Chelsea etc in terms of wages and transfers, so I doubt that's the reason although it will help in the long run. Other than Ozil, I just don't think Mr Wenger and Arsenal like splashing the cash. Eventually some top players will go cheap so maybe you will get some deals when it all kicks in}

Yes I believe there is underlying reasons for the Ozil signing.Apart from being an excellent player if we are doing well by the next transfer window he will be like a magnet for us to attract some quality players. let's have it right. It's one thing to be doing well in the EPL, Champions League, FA Cup etc. but if you haven't got top quality players it hardly attracts other quality players to join you . So for that reason I believe we will see new faces in January maybe some of the faces we have stalled over up to now.

Spurs fan in peace.

Just wanted a grown up discussion/banter as I have quite a serious question regarding the purchase of Ozil.

Yes he's world class and yes of course he'll improve Arsenal's squad.

But was Wenger + the board foolish to spend all that money on just one player, rather than improve and add multiple players to what is already a squad lacking depth and experience?

Just wanted the know your views!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think if a player Ozil comes along and you can sign him you would be mad not to and your fans would be extremely mad if you could have and didn't. I know what your saying about depth but really feel with the club showing ambition again we will see the whole squad lift their game and that can only be good . more effort, more belief extra special quality = more points =?

Agree0 Disagree0

SpursDave, hopefully not. yes we could do with strenghtening in other positions however, although flamini wasnt everybodys first choice, mainly because he was on a free, the majority of us thinks he will do a decent job sitting in front of back 4, as i'm sure you saw against your lot lol. plus, vermaelen should be back soon, koscielny and mertesacker seem to have quite a good understanding. if we have to we could even play bacary sagna or flamini at centre half, I repeat, if we have to.
our midfield is very very strong, arguably the best in the prem and they can interlink and swap roles if they have to. eg cazorla in central mid and ozil out wide and vice versa. we also have arteta to return soon and in about 6 weeks time chamberlain.
yes, a bit short upfront. if giroud gets injured I might even get a game, however we have recalled super niklas bendtner to the squad and you never know he might bang in a few if giroud was out. another option is, or should I saw was, podolski but unfortunately he's out for 2 months but again, if we have to we have the option of playing walcott upfront, although I don't rate him as a lone striker and he's far too good out on right wing, one of the best in the world in my opinion. would have minded demba ba but mourinho wouldn't loan him to us. pesonally speaking, and I know this is almost a hanging offence I wouldn't have minded taken your little man on loan for the season (defoe), very good player and always a threat up front.
anyways, these are just my opinions, some others on here might agree or disagree.

Agree0 Disagree0

How did it work out for you lot?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi SpursDave .

I'm not being funny with my reply but when you consider the players Arsenal had out against Spurs and add Ozill to the Squad you could say Arsenal to have some depth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well the best person to answer that question is you really. You've just sold the most expensive player in the world and you've bought different players in in all positions but you still got beat by us with supposedly a weak squad. So probably the answer to your question at this point is NO.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

All we need to do is keep telling him how well he looks since he has been with us and his family too they all look much happy and healthier, plus make sure 100 stunning girls tell him each day how hansom he is in an Arsenal shirt and they he never really fancied him at Real but now! He will be with us for life

I would love it if we went in for Benteka or Surzez (spelling) in the Jan window!

both would be free to play in the CL and it sounds like Liverpool are planning to play LS on the left wing so he might be unhappy with that!

and yes the Ozil deal has got me dreaming again!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jesus!! suarez ain't going to arsenal! never was or will. honestly folks u keep bringing his name into it . wenger spent that outlay on ozil 4 d very fact he cudnt get suarez and appease u lot. funny how one signing has appeased u . liverpool are guna be up at d summit and when arsenal are out of d champs lge at xmas its irrelevant anyway . lfc are strong in defence and up the way. arsenal is built on stilts, suarez dropped out left anyway last season, good luck with that defence

Agree0 Disagree0

The same defence that has been the best in England the last 8 months??????

Agree0 Disagree0

I must of dreamt Arsenal having the 2nd best defence in the league last season. I think you are definitely dreaming if you are talking about Liverpool being at the summit at the end of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

5 gold stars.
I totally agree with you that people on here should stop talking about suarez, I have posted that on here many times myself.
how on earth can you possibly slag off our defence when we have OFFICIALLY the best record of winning games over the past 12 months and, as usual, liverpool finished nowhere.
yes we have signed ozil but i'm not totally confident we will finish above man utd, i'm not totally confident we will finish above man city, i'm not totally confident we will finish above chelsea and i'm not even totally confident we will finish above spurs but, i'm TOTALLY CONFIDENT WE WILL FINISH ABOVE YOUR SHOWER OF rubbish

I just wanted to congratulate you guys for getting the best player in the transfer window. Perez is a nutcase for selling him and for me Ozil is a better player than Bale. I am glad he has switched to the PL and we will get to see him play every week.

I have been reading this a lot from yesterday, still waiting to picture ozil in an arsenal shirt, anyways hats of and credit where it is due to wenger, Ozil, his dad everyone have said that Arsenal actually worked very hard to make this transfer happen, and especially wenger, we were going on about the band wagon of him not being able to attract top talent but he has done it again.

Last season Arsene signs the best midfielder Carzola, and this season for all the money city spurs, chelsea have spent none will eclipse this.

Cant actually imagine Levy would phone up Real and tell them to stop the transfer, this is outrageously silly to even think that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can you answer two things for me.

What players from Chelsea and man city would you have in your squad

What players do you think would get into their teams from arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Stecfc92, I would bite mourinhos hand off for mata, although with the arrival of ozil we don't really need him. apart from that no chelsea player really gives me a buzz.
man city? sergio aguero every time. top boy although he did have a quiet one last season in comparison to the year before.
kos, cazorla, ozil, walcott, wiltshire and giroud would walk into chelsea or man city every day of the week and twice on a sunday, IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Cole, nasri plus a few! But to be honest they are all debatable expect Ozil and chek (not sure how to spell ) but the goal keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kos & Ozil I can give you, but Walcott? Never, Giroud, maybe at Chelsea considering there lack of strikers, but if they was going to invest, they would look at better. Cazorla's class is undoubted, but he wouldn't make the first 11 for those sides on a regular basis IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok fair enough on your opinion but hazard, Oscar, cole, luiz, Ramires all these players would be able to get in that arsenal squad and more as well. And if I could pick out of arsenal Wilshire and kocielney would get in Chelsea and no one else because we have players that are at least equal if not better than yours I.e carzorla/mata but tell a lie I don't think be would because we'd probably go after better but giroud would possibly make it too on current form. But thanks for your opinions

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Sep 2013 12:23:26

This is an official appeal to all gooners to support and get behind Bendtner for this season. I am not a fan of Big Nick's attitude and off the field distractions, and yes I agree that he definitely underperformed during his stint here.

But to be fair, he was deployed at LW most of the time and never really got consistent playing time. Anyone who has seen him play for Denmark knows he can score goals once he's focused and I think he will surprise a few people this year. He can be a real handful for defenders on his day.

We're going to need him this year so let's give him the support he needs. If he does s**t, then we can offload him, nothing to lose but a lot to gain.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Your right, there is no point getting in his back. He shows that when when he hits a pruple patch he can score goals. And who knows maybe Ozil can make even him look good!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't understand why arsenal fans just jump on the latest band wagon, yes ozil is a decent buy no doubt, but hypothetically 2 weeks ago you needed 4, 5 maybe 6 players and you get one big buy and all is dandy that isn't how it works what if he gets injured then your back to square 1 no? Also he wasn't the type of player you've been crying out for in midfield. This is just my opinion so if you have any reasoning behind your thought process let me know. SNM

Agree0 Disagree0

+1 Trinidad Gooner. Especially about the left wing (although he may have limited himself to that substitute role by attitude on the training ground, who knows how theses things play out) I'd hate to hear booing if he stepped on the pitch. Let his future sort itself out but we want our players to play well and to want to play for us. Our future and his will be better if we cheer, not boo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never had a problem with super nick to be honest, let's hope when he recovers from surgery (don't know exactly what it was) we can get him back in training and firing. But please don't waste him on the wing!

Ozil is a great signing, everybody agrees but there is so much degaticvity on here reference ooh! we should have signed a Striker. Why?

With Ozil, Whitshere or Ramsey who this term is sensational Santi, Rosicky and thew surprise package who is Flamini. Plus the returning Arteta, Diaby and the Ox the attacking options in midfield are endless
plus
If you rotate Walcott and Podolski with Giroud and the youngters Miyaichi, Sanogo the front line is enough to scare any team in Europe.

Yes we may be a little void at the back but we could fix that if we brought in defender on a free there's still a few out there unattached.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Podolski is injured for 10 weeks (meaning 20 weeks at Arsenal)
Walcott up top on his own frightens no one.
Miyachi is not a striker.
Sonogo looks worse than Chuks.
We needed a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. We have 3 strikers atleast in Giroud, Pod and Walcott (plus Bendtner and Sanogo).

We are one light at the back though. A RB or CB (or preferably a player that can play both) would have been nice. We are a little short of a quality young CB too. A quality 21-23 year old CB would have been nice and solved most defensive issues. Still plenty of money in the kitty!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Walcott Down the middle gives us another option and I think he gets better and better in front of goal. I must be wrong as no one else seems to think it but in many ways he reminds me of Henry, and he started life as a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2013 00:59:17

Has anybody else heard about Daniel Levy asking Real Madrid not to sell us Ozil?
I think it's funny that the spurs and Real Madrid have a 'partnership' that literally has no benefit to Tottenham.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

By all accounts Levy is right devious sly man to deal with on transfers, every transfer he is invloved with he tries to put all these back handed clauses into hence why they drag on forever. He has no right to poke his beak in transfers dealings not involving Spurs to dictate who else Real Madrid can agree transfers with.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think 86.5 million is a lot when you consider how much we got Ozil for.

Once the injuries clear up, our squad looks promising.
We have 3 keepers, with Viviano putting pressure on Szczesny.
Defensively, we have 4 full backs & 3 centre backs, ideally 4 would be perfect, but Sagna can cover & Flamini can move to full back. In midfield we have lots of options & if we can get Bendtner fit & motivated, he can provide good cover for Giroud. In fact they are extremely similar in build & style.
Ozil is a superb signing. I can't wait to see him play alongside Wilshere & Cazorla, with Flamini & Arteta behind, protecting the back four & when fit Podolski & Walcott wide.
Lets hope we come through the international period without further injuries.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I remember when Bergkamp retired, Wenger gave Gallas the number 10 shirt, as he didn't want to put too much pressure on a attacking player having such a number so soon.

No such worries with Ozil getting the number 11 shirt ;-)

Alot of Arsenal fans are obviously happy with Ozil but are questioning why we didn't sign in areas that we appear weak.

I believe that when a player of Ozil calibre becomes avalible you have to sign him regardless of whether we 100% need him.

He will massively improve our quality and will also inspire other top quality players to join us as they can see we have ambition. Make no mistake this is the Bergkamp signing that will push us to the next level.

I have been critical of Wenger but he has always said he is looking for quality and now I believe him.

The areas we are percieved to be weak in, I feel we have ok cover once certain players become fit again, for example Centre Back, we have Mert (100+ caps) and Kos the boss and TV as cover once he returns. TV is a top centre back who has had a couple of bad seasons.

I also feel that Wenger will now add real quality in January or Next summer, we must not forget that Lewandowski is on a free, there is no reason why we could not sign him!

Things that were promised are now becoming reality, we still have to improve but this may be the start of something beautiful again.

Hi ed do u think we will sign a striker in January's transfer window

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe another loan deal. Chelsea refused us on Demba Ba and wanted 3m just for a loan. I guess it will dpend on weather Giroud can stay fit.

I think we need another Cb aswell, not comfortable in only have 3 regular ones with just Sagna as cover, espcially knowing TV5 is struggling to get fit and back to form.

Agree0 Disagree0

Speaking of the loan system in annoys me that clubs like Chelsea use the system just to farm loads of players off to other clubs just to reduce the wage bill and meet FFP.

There should be a limit to how many players you can loan out. I even think there should be ban on loaning out players over say 23.

Rich Clubs exploit this just to buy players they will ultimatly never use just to stop other teams buying them. This can hurt players careers and ultimatly make a bit of a mockery of FFP.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope so!

I was hoping to see Podolski interchange with Giroud for the ST role but since he's out for 3 months I hope Sanogo or (. sigh. ) Bendtner can step up to the challenge.

I hope we play our strongest team against Sunderland and don't rest people to the champions league game on the Wednesday. Think we really need to keep the momentum going and carry on where we left off, international breaks don't usually bode well for us so Sunderland is a great opportunity to show things are very different now. Its been a long time since I was looking forward this much to our games, think its a combination of the spurs win followed by the best signing we could have possibly made, and one I thought was beyond us, wow Betner (smilely face)

This one is for Ed002, I know you've not been on the Arsenal page for a while but I was wondering if you could answer the following.

before the summer, you predicted major changes at Arsenal. How did the summer actually compare to what you expected?
Clearly we made some major changes, cleared out a lot of deadwood and made one incredible signing that nobody saw coming and smashed our transfer record and wage budget.

I think I interpreted your comments to mean a bit more though, ie 2-3 really big signings, possibly more of a shake up in the back room staff.

What are your thoughts on how the summer panned out for Arsenal and whether or not you still expect further changes to happen at the club.

Cheers! {Ed044's Note - Ed02 is not available to answer any questions but he stated that the changes would take place by September 2014.}

happy with the addition 'the wizard of oz' and 'the flame'. hope ozil doesn't get injured on international duty. worst case scenario, ozil get a long term injury playing for germany team and we never see him in arsenal shirt this year. god forbid.

Dont Jinx us for god sake.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm bit frustrated about the International matches coming up I just want to see our Arsenal boys getting it together on the pitch and keeping up the momentum. Don't get me wrong I support our England team but I have to admit for me it's nothing compared to knowing Arsenal are playing. If you can't get to the game you're hardly rushing home to catch it live on the TV with England are you? That's the difference for me.

Well said sir. international window blows big ones. they'll do nothin' under hodgson neway, even if they do who cares?

Mark my words. after a few games. you all will be commenting on how much of a leader Flammini is . did you see how much he was yelling during and after the game? ok fine he left us for more money . but now he's back in an arsenal shirt so we shall take him back as our own. he is a natural leader who never got to fulfill his role at milan. mark my words for FREE he is a very very good piece of bussiness. not a gustavo but still in days to come if he becomes a rock in his position we'll all be praising him

PS I went to gOOgle .com today and I thought of Ozil. cannot wait to see him slice and dice defenders apart!. i'm hoping his move is a catalyst for other top players to come join him!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Completely agree. A lot of fans in his last season wanted him to be the next captain (assuming he signed a new contract). Captain or not he's still a leader in the way he plays and communicates.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was like he never left, over 100 games for arsenal, great attitude.

Wenger said when flamini started training he had no intention of signing him, his attitude and commitment changed his mind.

IMO flamini signing is just as important as ozil. He's a warrior and so glad we have him a good reception at the NLD.

Stil absolutely buzzing at the Ozil signing. Really is the best No.10 in the world right now! Just hoping we keep up good form until january and sign a good strong CB possibly to replace Per and a dominant defensive mid.

Rami and either Sven or Lars Bender or Gundogan would be sweet!

Quick question to the Eds and all you gooners (maybe the Eds can make a pole)

Who do you think will be dropped for Ozil? Because i'm really struggling to decide. Jack, Ramsey and Rosicky have all be brilliant since the Villa game shambles, I can't see him playing Ozil on the left and Santi in the middle either. I would have to say Rosicky because of his age but I think we would still have a massive gap between the midfield and the back 4 if we had Jack and Ramsey playing behind Ozil.

At least we would have Arteta (when fit) and Flamini as defensive cover should we need it later in a game but I'm still thinking we'll struggle to keep clean sheets based on our potential starting 11.

Thoughts?

Cheers

I don't think its a matter of dropping anyone. Its a squad game and players like Cazorla played too much last season. This season already Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey and Cazorla have been practically ever present so will need a game off now and then.

I know we needed a Keeper to put pressure on Szczesny, but it does seems strange that we brought a young (in keeper terms) one in Viviano on loan rather than just a old hand like say Given just for backup.

This indicates to me that Wenger although would not say it publically is Not 100% sure that Shezz is number 1 anymore and is edging his bets by putting pressure on him to see if he up's his game. I think Wenger is putting Schezz on trial this season and if he fails he have a keeper ready to buy if he passes there is no real financial loss as Viviano ends his loan spell.

Keepers like to know they are number 1 so it will be interesting to see how Schezz responds this season having not had the pressure previously.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wenger has been after viv for a few years, this is a loan with the option to buy, so wenger might just get him perm depends on how he does. Remember wenger has a lot of long term players he has been after, ozil was one of them as he tried to sign him 3 years ago.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Giroud will out score RVP this year?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If he stays injury free ye! I got 25-1 start if season to be top prem scorer!
I also got 25-1 for rogers to be first manager sacked I really don't like him! he spent a lot of money and increased loserfools wages massively and regardless of points so far they are totally pants!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah good one nick

while rodgers was busy getting in players to address squad needs wenger broke the bank to appease his own supporters

you still have per(i turn slower than an oil tanker) mertesacker at cb, you still have one decent striker.flamini might or might not be capable at dm
oh you got a topclass keep in too. quality

meanwhile rodgers stated our defense needed work. signed one the premier leagues top keepers, 3 cbs and a left back
defense sorted.

ozil is a wonderful signing, but sahko would have been a better one for you

a top class dm would have helped too

a top class striker also

thee areas were needed more than a new no 10

arsenal don't scare me at all.you re not much better than us if at all to be honest. there won't be much in the diffrence between us come the end of the season

Agree0 Disagree0

And by the way, we spent less than you this summerand reduced the overall wage bill
