Apparently we have a player who is even slower than Mertesacker, Belerin is fastest Sanchez is 2nd and Theo 3rd but who is the slowest of them all if not Mertesacker?
Arteta is in the frame along with Chambers apparently but the players won't reveal the identity of the real Sloth in our ranks, anyone know who it is?

{Ed001's Note - maybe dags? I hear he is a bit of a playa.....}

Could be numero uno, he's certainly slow in coming forward with the good jokes he must surely know but is holding back with

Funny enough, my mate is a very good 4 x 100m relay runner, even though he suffers from bad hand co-ordination.

You have to hand it to him.

Hey Eds, is there any interest in Reus or Gotze? Both young and talented. I feel arsenal could benefit from having an out and out winger.

just wondering would we have an interest in Mario Gotze's, as we have been link to him in the past, he seems unsettled at Bayern Munich

Massive shout for England's lioness's who deserve every bit of the praise they are receiving for the way they represented their country.
Pride passion desire emotion the men's game seems to have lost in recent years as money has become more important than the game it's self to many.
Well done ladies it may have only been bronze but it was a brilliant reminder of what football should be about above anything else and what it should mean to those lucky enough to represent their country.

Let's face it G62 they were very unlucky against Japan . They were the better team and that was never a penalty. We always have poor luck men or women

We do mate, it was nice to see how much winning the 3/4 place playoff ment because in the men's game it's seen as a non event.
Italia 90 and euro 96 seem so long ago now and I think playing for England has become much less to our players while many other nationalities see it as the highlight of their careers still.

It starts in this country from a young age. Even at the kids sports day last week kids are taught that it's wrong to be competitive and that it's the taking part that counts BS. I told my boy that if he won I'd treat him and if he finished out of the top three not to bother coming home lol

Yeah agree mate be the best you can be in all games at all times, its disrespectful to your opponent to only win 9 0 if it could have been 10 0.
Before and after the game is the time for friendship but not during it.

Saw some talk about Gaya on here the other day. On that note, not sure if anyone else has seen the revista select 11 from this last La Liga season, but Gaya is the only player to feature in it who doesn't play for Barça or Real. Pity it seems he's not available. What an addition he'd be

Hey Ed,
Apparently there are quite a lot of sources saying schneiderlin would prefer Arsenal over Man utd. and few weeks ago also read that he will make a decision soon!. What are your thoughts?
And btw Sanche won Copa America with Chile!. Cheers gooners! :D

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what his thoughts on the matter are.}

It is quite common for foreign players to want to move to London above any other cities, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise. Fair assumption that he'd likely get higher wages at United though

He was all set to sign for utd until Friday when CTR decided to defect back to the utd page himself thus causing Spyder to have a complete rethink.
Chris we all miss you and whenever your ready will welcome you back mate, but please let us capture the Spyder before you frighten him off again mate :-)

I would rather see arsenal get a cdm and striker instead of Pedro don't need another winger. Would like to see laccerzet sorry for incorrect spelling and maybe some1 similar to yaya

Not sure if the same rules apply as the world cup where a player has to given a months break after the tournament before returning to training?
If so its no bad thing he will probably miss the opening couple of matches but will increase his chances of lasting the season without niggling injuries and fatigue.

05 Jul 2015 11:06:15
Should get the first two games off, I think. Assuming we don't suffer a dreadful bout of injuries in pre-season, it'd do Arsenal more harm than good to have Sanchez rested for a couple of weeks and let the likes of Theo, the Ox and maybe Gnabry show us what they have to offer. You can bet your sack that Sanchez will be gutted to miss out on the chance to play in this year's community shield, must already view Wembley like his own back garden

62,

Wenger has already said he'll have four weeks off so pretty sure he'll miss 2 maybe 3 but with Sanchez you never know, he is one incredibly fit bloke.

Didn't someone say he was made of Mantanium. :-)

Cheers Red pleased to read that, he is an unbelievably enthusiastic player who wants to play 90 minutes in every game but I'm personally a big fan of players getting a good mental break from football each summer, during the season the demands and restrictions on their personal life are and need to be strict to produce the very best from them but everyone needs to swich off and let their hair down at some time.
