88% of AST have voted that they don't want wenger as manager. I suppose the club will say, well its not 100%. Why is he still at the helm?
What a useless board.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

05 Mar 2018 23:49:24
And of those AST ( who ever they are) eligible to vote are included in the result mate?
I'm just very suspicious of all stats as they can be used to get a desired result one way or another.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 02:07:53
They are us gunner but have a voice with shareholders. Thwy actually tell the board how it is. It is then up to the board to ignore them. Lol. some very influential people are involved in the trust.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 08:59:49
I'm suspicious of all polls Steve mate, if you only canvass 10% of those involved it makes a difference where you do your poll, at an Arsene out meeting it will obviously be extremely high and at an Arsene in meeting extremely low if the question do we need a new manager.
The question you ask and the team way you phrase it also sways the answer you get mate.
Do you want change?
To some people that means get rid of Arsene while to someone else yes could mean I want a change in how things are run but not the manager.
Sometimes the headlines don't tell the full story mate only a version those running the story want to promote.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 10:09:07
I think it also said 40% took part in this survey. I tend not to pay attention in things like that. And most probably the board don't we well lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 11:11:48
That sounds about right 16 mate, it's like elections mate and look how often there right
I'm not saying the majority don't want Arsene gone now but it won't be 88% that's for sure, just 12% of totally committed to Arsene come what may left? Have I fell asleep are we in the conference league?
There is no way Arsene support is that low, possibly 60/ 40 at an absolute push but not 88/ 12.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 14:40:24
Ivan is giving them a meeting on sunday.

06 Mar 2018 14:43:11
Its probably all made up but daily mail, gaurdian, mirror, bbc, and every poll on the internet has neen 90% out. He has just upset roo many fans for too long and even the ardent ones are fed up with it all.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 16:02:33
It's unarguably that the club. is in a terrible state and for Arsene there is no escape from responsibility simply because he had so much power over everything for so long.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 21:55:52
See that's where wenger gets it wrong, we go 2 down and get slaughtered. Man u go 2 down and the gorillas get them back. Put it in the air and the giant will score.

Apparently Everton want Arsene?
I'm happy for both Arsene and Everton if that's what they both want.
It's being reported in the star so pretty unlikely to be true but I wish both parties well should it happen.
I really want Arsenal to move on and turn the page but I wish Arsene nothing but good in what ever he should do next.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 16:54:43
Ac Milan unbeaten in 13 games
Gattuso ex player obviously loves the club and the fans love him. Do you think any of our, ex players who managers/ coaches/ assistants could bring that sort of thing to us. I am big fan of the idea, what do you reckon people.

A lot of fans are calling for experienced coach and ready made up. I for one say give Henry a chance or berggy. i'm sure we won't be in worst situation than the one we are in now. Although when pep took over at Barcelona he didn’t have the experience as well as zidan.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 19:51:49
Dalglish was player manager at Liverpool when he started out, they all have to start somewhere.
If Henry went to to say Southend and got them promoted a division would he really be any more ready for the premier league? Equally if he went there and failed to make an impact with lower league players would that instantly rule him out being capable or just not able to adjust to that standard of football.
If there is no interest from our top choices then why not Henry, as Moe says we can hardly just carry on going backwards without trying to at least trying some one else than Arsene.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 23:12:37
I know someone will shoot me down but i think its more likely that type of manager has usually played midfield in his career, so has an understanding of defence and attacking. Defenders also make great first time managers, strikers are more liable to be pundits.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 00:03:06
And they very often have had a stella career playing and winning the big prizes under top managers.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 10:18:47
Steve, in this case I call for Viera as our new coach, I think he would be a great manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 16:52:52
Moe, i agree, but i think before vierra, i would want a coach that has been there and done it. Vierra would bring values back to the club and a desire but i think we need experience first.

On a serious note all you drivers out there be careful around the Emirates - they`re giving 3 points to everybody! Oh Leahy RTFP COYG.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 Mar 2018 17:16:07
They will be giving free tickets away shortly.
You would want a few shorts down your neck to go in there now along with the 3 points.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 19:37:07
Yes Leahy we are awful at the moment but my hope is Arsene goes at end of season - with a celebration although that seems unlikely sadly. I hold on to the fact we will get the right manager in plus some new quality players playing attractive football. You on the other hand will be watching football to slit your wrists by with a classless manager! I'd rather watch back to back Coldplay and Nickleback concerts COYG.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 14:06:51
Who's your nominations for Arsenal player of the season so far?
:-ldifficult isn't it :-)
I'd have to go for Sanchez still, simply can't think of anyone who's done better than Alexis even though he didn't want to be here.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed0333's Note - Tough decision that one mate.

05 Mar 2018 14:30:25
Nacho for me.

05 Mar 2018 14:47:13
Nacho.

05 Mar 2018 14:48:15
Id probably give Monreal a shout. Not sure anyone else has been as consistent considering the awful season. Grabbed a few goals and assists, played in back 3 and as LB when reverting to a back 4. Hasn't exactly set the world alight don't get me wrong, but also hasn't done too much wrong either.

That was proper tough mind.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 15:30:48
Not original but Nacho only one who looks like he genuinely both tries and cares COYG.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 16:30:44
I make you boys right, Monreal is the only candidate that carries any credibility.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 17:12:27
Wilshere as runner up? He hasn't been too bad since breaking into the team. Shows how crap we have been for me to say wilshere as our second best player lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 17:20:43
Gunnersaurus.

He hasn't put a foot wrong all season.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 18:38:41
I would go with Nacho. I also wonder whether he could be played as a Defensive Midfielder as well? I mean he can tackle, is experienced enough not to wonder out of position, wants to win, and surely no worse than Xhaka or Wilshire?

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 19:06:53
I think it should be cancelled this year. I would ne embarrased to be given an accolade like that after the gutless performances. The only 3 for me would be sanchez, monreal or wilshire at least they have put effort in.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 19:25:45
I don't see why not give Nacho a go as DM epping mate, absolutely nothing to lose this season trying anything and everything out that might have half a chance of coming off.
Jack is most definitely in the running for worst after Sanchez and Monreal.
Prehaps we could rename it as player not quite as bad as the rest of the season :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 20:18:21
Sorry that was meant to read Jack in the running for Least Worse after Monreal and Sanchez:-)

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 14:19:47
Isn't it Ed033 mate, it's difficult to think of a player it wouldn't seem silly giving it to.
Monreal at a push?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed0333's Note - if you give it to Sanchez that would about sum up the absurdity at Arsenal at the moment. Player of the season award given to a player whose gone to one of your biggest rivals.

05 Mar 2018 08:39:12
Phew. .with all that is going on with the club on the pitch I was certainly relieved to see that our pre tax profits have done so much better (sarcasm) !
