Not football related but the passing Nelson Mandela is a very sad thing for the human race.

Bar far the greatest man of my life time who showed us all a better way forward for the human race, no bitterness no revenge just forgiveness and moving forward to a better world.

God bless Mr Mandela you showed us all a better way,

Thank you.

Good post G62, the man was a legend and an inspiration to one and all.
May he rest in peace.

A Titan of Humanity

If a world exists a few thousand years from now, and history is not erased at some point, they will still follow his example

Nelson Mandela

I can't name anyone alive whose life has meant as much to humanity at its core

He made the world a better place for all of us

England and Uruguay are in same group. After this Luis Suarez might not want to stay in England.

Hi all,

Just wondering what everyones' thoughts were on Morata. I have read recently that both Wenger and Ancelotti both denied that a loan deal was in place, but does that really mean anything? Surely managers want to keep their teams focused on the task at hand and not be distracted by transfer specualtion.

Also, aren't managers not allowed to speak about players of other teams unless it's during a transfer window? I know players can pretty much say what they want.

With Giroud playing so well, does Wenger bring in a supporting striker who would be happy playing second fiddle, or bring in an established striker to add competition?

I have heard Berbatov, Chicharito, and Dzeko's names brought up on here, but who do you think we will actually get?

Peace,
Trinidad-Gooner

Nobody, Sanogo and Bendtner will be here.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we will get a pacey striker or left winger around the age of 20

Just seen a headline from a paper which read, "Arsene reveals pep talk he had with Bendtner." It went along the lines of "Sorry Nicklas, Bayern haven't come in for you yet."

Bendtner doesn't fancy Bayern, apparently he is holding out for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Banter Please

İlkay Gündoğan‎ - Is he Arteta's long term replacement. or is Wilshere?

With 18 months left on the contract, he could be affordable. Arsenal offers a home for good young german players and now is offering a place to challange and potentially win the league.

We have a few aging midfielders now: Arteta (31), Rosicky (33), Flamini (29), Podolski (28).

So would there room for so more quality young talent?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Everyone is ageing mate. Can't really think about replacing a 28 year old

I think Arsene will only need to go for true young quality now as they will mature nicely in the few years left for Arteta, Flamini and co.

İlkay Gndoğan‎, Eliquim Mangala, Julian Draxler and lvaro Morata would be four nice little signings please Arsene.

5-0

Ozil to score 3

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We're not thrashing Everton, I'd take a goal or two and another clean sheet

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't thrash Everton at all, I'd take a 90th minute winner 1-0

Morning All,

Well it's getting close to our game and yours with City, it's going to be between the 3 of us for the title and I say that still thinking a Saurez led Liverpool will have some kind of say in the top four.

Have to say as much as it did us a favour to keep you close I was disappointed you didn't batter the increasingly bitter Mancs. Best team doesn't always win. Thought it was funny that Southampton could lose 3 on the trot and still be above them. LMFAO.

Anyway guys I'm liking the look of you lot this year, but hoping we edge it, you can beat City instead. Either way it's going to be some good games between us and Citeh. I can't wait.

Good luck

Hello mate hope your good

I think you should get an award for all the work you do on the mancs page, keep it up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even though we're at home against your lot i'd take a draw and be very content with that. Chelsea and especially Mourinhio knows how to play against us. Wenger has never beaten a Mourinhio team. I hate losing to your lot.

I think it's about time Wenger beats Mourinho, however it will be a great game.

The run up to the new year will be extremely important. It is good to have the Capital One Cup out of the way, whereas our challengers for the title are mostly still in it and in the latter rounds will no doubt put out strong teams. I would love to see us avoid defeat in Napoli and qualify top of our CL group, giving us a chance of progressing further and it will boost our confidence. I feel we need to win Sundays home match against Everton, then avoid defeat against Man City & Chelsea. Two away wins against West Ham & Newcastle, would take us perfectly into the new year. I am not sure about signings in January, as they may upset the togetherness of the squad. We need a right-sided centre back & a striker, but with Podolski & the Ox coming back, there is competition for places already. If we don't make the signings mentioned, we have Bendtner, Podolski & Walcott who could, at a push, replace Giroud. We have Vermaelen & Sagna who can cover at CB.

According to Vaq1 a couple of weeks ago and the Daily Mail of last year. Every time Rambo scores a famous person drops dead. I bet all the famous people breathed a sigh of relief last season I think Rambo only scored 4 goals. It' looks like there's not going to be much on the TV next year though as the way Rambo is going everybody famous will be dead!LOL. God help us where do these people come from?

I went to Blackpool last week and knocked at the first hotel I saw.
The woman opened the upstairs window and shouted "what do you want?"

I said "i want to stay here"

She said "stay there than" and shut the window.
