I'm absolutely amazed fellaini didn't get a card for pulling guendousis hair! That was an incredibly dirty way to stop a player! I thought that was disgusting.

{Ed001's Note - Cristiano Ronaldo got sent off for it.}

Apparently he should have been sent off, violent conduct but because mariner took action because he saw fit to give a free kick. No more action can be taken.

I was going to say I would of put it at close to a red, not especially dangerous, although might hurt someone's neck at speed, but just generally a terrible example for a role model to set kids, similar to spitting at someone.

I was going to say he should be at a club like Stoke but the truth is he’s at the new rich Stoke City, they’re playing a very similar brand of 💩🏉.

I agree Eden it's on a par with spitting and biting, football has always been a physical game and there will always be foul play along the line, for me an outfield player punching the ball off the line or pulling an opponents shirt in order to stop a certain goal are as upfront and honest as a foul can even be, but biting spitting and hair pulling? What's next scratching someone's face with their freshly painted false nails?

Results against the top 6 are getting more and more competitive under Dick. Performance apart, for us a draw at OT after a win against the spuds after drawing Liverpool is a definite improvement from the wenger final years. Dick is definitely squeezing every sinue out of the squad possible. His decision making so far has produced results or at least improvement. Individual mistakes that are blunting our progress further are not Dicks fault, it is a residue from the previous era. The more players Dick gets in to mould his team, the more those mistakes will decrease. Progression is what we all want and that is what we are getting. You can't help be impressed with Dick, before during and after games. No snivelling like many other coaching and a real breathe of fresh air. The next test will come after a defeat or two, to see what the reaction is but i'm confident of the future.

And he never mentions “Mental Strength” every five bleeding minutes.

I think Wenger hoped if he said it enough the players would miraculously get some!

It looks like he is keeping them off the spirit as well.

I always thought Arsene's words were a contradiction to what he actually saw and felt himself, when he said the player showed great strength he was defending his players from the accusations of lack of effort he knew were coming from the media and fans and the reason he knew what was coming was because it's exactly as the fans inside but was too close to the players to challenge them about it and risk upsetting them and falling out with them.

Stoke fans staying classy as ever.

{Ed001's Note - I know you Arsenal fans have a close relationship with them! I find it difficult not to want Stoke to keep getting relegated. Any set of fans that boo a player merely for getting his leg broken by one of their thugs deserves nothing but misery.}

A win against the Toot and a draw away to United are quality results. On the downside Holding looks to have picked up a serious injury and we are down to our last 2 fit centre backs. Koscielny and Mavropanos appear some way off match fitness. With matches coming up thick and fast, the centre back situation is worrying and we may have to make a signing in January, meanwhile we have 7 matches in 23 days to contend with. Hopefully Monreal will soon be for again, giving us an option as he can fill in at CB. We can also rest Mustafi and Sokratis when we play our final EL match.
Congrats to Emery and the team for continuing the unbeaten run of 20 matches.

Yes Welsh he did, but after 85 minutes with no complications having played 45 minutes in his first game back a few days earlier.

Monreal is also back in training with the team and Mavropanos not far off.
