Hi Ed002,
If Arsene is to leave us in the summer, which seems increasingly likely, will there be interest in him from other clubs?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I would doubt it, expect perhaps an international side.}

Just to throw another iron to the fire. It will be interesting to see how PSG, react to there manager Umal Emery if they go out tonight. They have spent mega bucks and exit tonight would seem a major failure and once again they could turn their attention to Arsene.

Leahy, what's with all the smart comments?
Ever since your mate RAVER (the fraud) done a runner because he won't let anyone see what a dido he is at the charity football match, you've been on here giving it the large one.

Now Malaga, just a bit of fun,
The best days in the premiership for me was United v arsenal.
United's biggest rivals back then.
So I bring it from there Malaga.
Now wexford your well able to take it and well able to give it.
Now I know your upset cause your team is going backwards.
Chin up wexford😂😂.

Funny enough Leahy, that's almost as many points you are behind your neighbour's.

You know, the noisy neighbour's, the one's Fergie said were "A nothing side".

How weird is that?

I hope Wenger joins PSG next season and within n two years winds the league and champ league. I have no ill feelings towards him and love the fact he put up with no funds but still looked after our club. I would love him to win and by that stick two fingers up to his critics.
We need to move on but I will always respect Wenger for what he has done for OUR great club. Love him or hate him - he has delivered us the best football and team we will ever see playing in our strip and loves the club as much as WE do.

Respect to our best ever manager and great guy - really hope he shows his critics that he still has it before he retires.

You talking about the best team in manchester Dags. The one that plays football.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 21:54:47
Dags they are a good side now but come on, they have no history, fickle fans, they even give away free tickets to fill the stadium,
Now United, arsenal, liverpool to be fair have the history, have the trophies,
Now boys all jokes aside arsenal will come back, United are as bad but somehow we are hanging in there
I can see Chelsea taking a few backward steps as well,
City, spurs, liverpool are playing the best football Now,
There's going to be 6 teams fighting for that top 4 from here on,
United need about 5 players out and in, so do arsenal, plus Wenger has to go in the summer.
Spurs aren't that far away, If they keep their players and add 2 more.
Liverpool need to keep that front 3 and repair the back .
It will be an interesting summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 22:30:54
Now Leahy, that I agree with.

We have massive steps to take just to catch up with Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs, but whatever happens, nobody will touch City for the next 3 seasons at least.

If City dip, Pep will spend, and the City owners will back him every time.

It's dark days for the rest of us for years, the rest of us will just fight over the scraps City drop off the dining table.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Mar 2018 22:33:33
SY mate no disrespect but you sound like an Arsene Wenger fan more than an Arsenal fan.
I wish Arsene well with whatever he does but I don't see how he would be in position to stick any fingers up at anyone if after leading us nowhere for years IF he had success somewhere else.
The position Arsene has taken us too is in excusable and there is not enough fingers in a full Emirates stadium that will cover that up.

Liverpool supporter here just writing to say chin up lads.

I really believe Arsenal will be back competing again once "personnel changes" are made at the club. There just doesn't seem to be any desire at your club to win, no belief. It's what I think won United the league in Fergie's last season: the mental edge. Then he left and United have never been the same. Look at Liverpool now, we spent painful year after year with a negative attitude, suddenly Klopp comes along and, OK things aren't perfect, but he has moved us in the right direction and giving us a winning mentality. I hope and believe that will happen to Arsenal in the next few years and just hope it's not at our expense! All the best lads.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

06 Mar 2018 18:12:44
Respect Adam.

I still think Liverpool are a bit too "Hit and Miss" to seriously challenge Man City, but Klopp is doing a fantastic job at Anfield.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 19:01:52
Yes agree with both posts. The three best managers in the league this season, pep klopp and poch. The rest incuding conte have various problems with management. I think everyone is playing for scraps while pep is at citeh.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 19:38:39
I think Arsene slowly but surely lowered the whole clubs mentality over the years, the stadium started it and we all bought into that, then we were unluckier than anyone else with injuries every single season and most people bought into that, then there were sugar daddy owners that many people bought into. Then Arsene told everyone that 4th place was success and almost all players and a huge amount of fans bought into that too.
Arsene has lowed and lowed everyone's acceptance levels of what represents real success and with that the winning mentality had disappeared completely from all corners of the club taking our credibility of calling ourselves a big club with it.
Competing for titles became a dream but no longer an expectation and in the champions league it became all about the taking part rather than achieving what Utd Chelsea City and Liverpool and Spurs will all be thinking about doing this season. 8 years of successive last 16 exits were swept under the carpet and replaced by declaring our greatness in taking part for 19 seasons running.
Arsene has little by little removed the winning gene from ever player who stuck around and 50% of the fans with them.
Those special glasses are no longer do it for the vast majority of fans and players with any ambition left are getting away as fast as they can.
Ramsey apparently wants to follow Ox and Theo while only those who with no option or who chose lifestyle over football are happy to remain.

Its really hard for us Gooners at the moment to get behind the team I posted a few days back about previous Arsenal managers and how you felt that when you were in a bad run you were all in it together, but with Arsenes its just completely different vibe. All you get is how he turned, down the world to stay with us and bolshie reactions from him if anybody dares to question him and his methods. He doesn't mention the fans at all just about the teams mental strength (they haven't got any) and the players are together (obviously not) . To me he is acting like a manager who feels that because of his past triumphs he is unsackable and supremely confident that the board won't fire him. If its another night of pain Thursday I just cannot, see how he carry on a moment longer but I have serious doubt's whether Stan and the board will react to this or not at all because as one newspaper put they are paralyzed by fear of actually sacking him and Arsenes knows this.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

06 Mar 2018 14:27:44
I think the pressure on the club to act will become to great for them to resist, the pressure from fans the media and sponsors will continue to increase between now and the end of the season and no way can the club afford a repeat of last year's will he won't ridiculous saga with Arsene and his new contract by having a will they won't they sack him saga this summer.
The club is a shambles where the manager choses how long he continues regardless of results, the players don't bother because like us they've had enough and the board don't have a clue what's going on or what to do about it.
Sanchez Ox Theo broke away from the madness to save their careers with Theo and Ox taking less money to get away while Ramsey almost certainly and quite possibly Jack too will do like wise this summer.
If this was a fly on the wall reality tv show people would say it was fake and to scripted, but no this really is Arsenal football club in full swing now days.

I must confess I am not as confident as others on here that Kronke will act. What evidence is there that he will do anything other than continue to live thousands of miles away and have absolutely no interest into the daily running of the club. Also I am sure I once read that Arsene only has a target of getting into the CL in only 2 out of every 4 seasons, or something like that, which if the case Kronke may say he has 1 more season to get us back. Add this to the increasingly defensive statements from Arsene, combined with press articles claiming he has told others he is staying as he is the right man to turn us around, and I fear that we may still have to put up with more of this than we all think. I hope to hell I am wrong.

EG until anything happens nobody can say for sure. that's why the fans have to let everyone at the club know they aren't happy and want change. Until someone listens.

The one light at the end of the tunnel for me Steve is the 2 new guys who have joined the back office/ management this year. Ed002 seems to know a lot about both, particularly the guy who has joined from Barcelona, (can't remember his name) and he has said good things about them. Certainly neither seem the sort who have come to put their feet up and let Wenger run the show, so I think things are slowly being put into place.

I see a lot on here of people slating the manager, the players, the board. basically anything related to Arsenal.

I am slightly surprised that Gunnersauras has been left out of it.

I am as frustrated as anyone else. Sitting in a freezing cold stadium last Thursday to see Man City do to us what we used to do to other teams, it just felt like apathy toward the team all around me.

It is interesting to note that really only Jack and Cech have come out with anything close to recognition of our poor form. Though Jack is right, they need our support. The fans booing Cech for half a game is completely out of order.

Let's actually support the team, regardless of how we all feel, and who knows - WE might be able to help THEM find some form. I'm sure they don't fancy playing in front of their own booing, baying fans.

Come on you Gooners.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

06 Mar 2018 09:36:13
You've got to give people a reason to back you not just loyalty.
The players the manager the board have made this problem and extremely patient fans have finally had enough.
You can't walk and expect people to simply accept that, you can't keep picking Xhaka and Iwobi keep losing and expect people not to be frustrated.
Sorry but I think Arsenal fans have been far to patient far to long with the manager the players and the board and it's way past the time to let everyone know this is not acceptable.

Agree5 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 09:49:30
It would be better to voice your displeasure before or after games and be behind the team during one but it must be mission impossible to keep your gob shut watching this stuff happen.

Booing has never made anyone play better but sadly like 62 says people have been beyond patient.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 09:53:55
If players are giving 100 per cent commitment fighting for every ball till the final whistle us fans would be cheering them on. The manager is motionless and shows no passion on the pitch. He is clueless and has no game plan.

Every fan wants the best for arsenal football club. We give up thousands of pounds supporting this great club. Maybe if some players and the manager showed us as much passion there wouldn't be a problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 10:19:35
I'm not saying that the players are not to blame, or the various levels of management.

I for one am just a bit sick and tired of the booing, the lack of support for the Arsenal team trying to win a game of football, for the Arsenal Fan TV bull - support the team, end of.

We have had worse teams than this, for those that care to remember, and they still got our support.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 10:42:56
To be fair Skywalker we've never had a team with such little comittiment passion and fight.
Personally I wouldn't go all the way to a game just to boo the team I'd stay away and find something more enjoyable to do with my time.
Empty seats says everything the players board and manager need to know.
If people really want to demonstrate then do so outside the ground for 90 minutes during the game, but personally I'd say just stay away if your not satisfied with what's being served up by the current Arsenal set up.
Saying get behind the team and manager is like asking people to pay for and eat another horrible meal and pretend it's acceptable to severe up.

Ive got to be honest and say, i think most fans have been too silent and let this fester too long. Some of the dealings and situations that have been allowed to happen for as long as they have should not ever be associated with a professional football club. Its obvious too some that we have lost our steering years ago. I don't think with its owner and its manager and its players, its a nice club any more. Football clubs need icons, we don't have a single one.
