Kane or lukaku. Talk to me. I'm team kane.

I would have trouble wrapping my head around BALE a few years removed now Kane, not down with Spurs. So would have to be Lukaku.

That said, getting the warm a fuzzier for Chicarito these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2016 22:17:18
Would have to be lakaku for me. Kane is a great player but Wenger has a way of improving strikers and i think Lakaku could be a better/ more clinical version of giroud and i love the way giroud links up and brings our midfield in to play.

Both would cost a small fortune tho!

07 Jan 2016 22:36:01
always prefered lukaku personally.

07 Jan 2016 22:49:10

There it is again that unique gooner thing of never mind the quality look at the price!
Sorry Hampton boy but that's why we are always bridesmaids, Arsenes greatest legacy will be creating an army of accountant supporters :-)

07 Jan 2016 23:49:02
Lukaku think he'd fit in well with us.

08 Jan 2016 00:53:40
Afobe.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jan 2016 01:15:42
Lukaku for me, his hold up play is fantastic which I think is Giroud's biggest plus so that coupled with Lukaku's more clinical finishing would be a pretty decent upgrade.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jan 2016 07:11:52
I have my doubts about lukaku at a big club. He like it where he is now. Star man. I'd like to see if he can handle European football also along side prem football.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - like to see him at a big club??...treading on eggshells there derby mate...he tore wolfsberg a new one last season in the europa league..

08 Jan 2016 07:26:47
Haha gunner62 to be fair I am an accountant in training. Maybe all of wengers talking has subconsciously put me in the direction.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jan 2016 08:00:52
Guess that's why he's called Le Prof after and all we are all his graduates Hampton mate, Messi signs for utd city or Chelsea their fans get very excited about his debut but for us it means a few sleepless nights worrying about his wages :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jan 2016 08:11:09
eds you not think he's better this season with the mid week rest? maybe its his body type i think he needs the rest. you could question him for Belgium also. i'm a fan tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i just think he is maturing derby, hes still only a young man and he will get even better mate..

08 Jan 2016 10:53:00
i still think kane will have the better career for me. time will tell.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2016 16:16:32

07 Jan 2016 18:27:19
Good game yesterday BTW Ed.

As a 'neutral' is was very enjoyable.

I can definitely see you progressing to the final if you play like that again.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that away goal may prove vital dags..

07 Jan 2016 19:08:19
I've just got a new boomerang my only problem is I'm having trouble throwing the old one away.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2016 19:25:30

My grandad said he'd like a cassette at arsenal after hours trying to explain the technology has gone I realised he meant lacazette.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2016 22:54:32
I call my Grandad Spiderman.
He doesn't have any superpowers, he just has trouble getting out of the bath.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jan 2016 07:10:50
I said at work spiders can't climb out of a bath. No one believed me. Even after a google.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ahh...i realize now...your a university lecturer.. :)

07 Jan 2016 10:56:37
thank you red dog. eds any chance of blocking him? lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not for telling the truth mate.. :)

07 Jan 2016 11:46:19
Its hard enough for a gooner to go through this page i'm guessing not many as there nothing to read i remember about a year ago you could log on every hour or so and have plenty to read. Now you luck to read a few posts a day its a shame really because its a good site unlike any other.

07 Jan 2016 13:51:42

07 Jan 2016 11:35:43
Sorry Derby mate it was one of those opportunities that was too good to miss, when I typed it I was actually thinking someone was going to beat me to it. ;-)

Ed25 I know this isn't Arsenal related but against Spurs and City you have started to look really good. Besic from what little I've seen looks quality mate and you are building a pretty bloody good squad up there.

Why isn't Robles getting a chance in the league and would you swap Martinez for Pochettino?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i would swap him tomorrow red dog, we are playing some nice stuff but martinez is defensively very naive, we all knew besic was a good player but bobby has his favourites and mo along with a couple of others has been frozen out, and along with joel must be tearing his hair out as they are better than what we are putting on the park each week mate..

07 Jan 2016 13:57:18
Ed025, any truth in the rumours that you are setting up a KDB banter page?! You could be onto a winner with that one!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well i would have at least one faithful poster if i do 14.. :)

07 Jan 2016 17:09:26
Poch is the real deal guys.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i agree derby..

07 Jan 2016 07:53:39
If 22m is all it takes to snap up lacazette then surely we should be having a pop too.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

07 Jan 2016 10:13:29
Is he good enough? 22m, plus wages is still a huge outlay.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its ok RG..were not asking you to pay it mate.. :)

07 Jan 2016 10:35:00
Why are arsenal fans so worried about the cash. Never understood it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont know why any supporter would be either derby..

07 Jan 2016 10:37:51
Ha! I would be worse than Wenger at opening the purse strings! On a serious note, bearing in mind we have Giroud, Walcott and eventually when he returns from injury Welbeck, I cannot see us laying out such a fee for a squad player.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2016 10:39:01
Ok if its carrol for 35 you start to ask questions or if your club is after alcaraz you just give up on life lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i like that mate.. :)

07 Jan 2016 10:41:45
Does show you the money in the prem when a club battling relegation bids 22mill for a striker.
