With sagna in the last year in of his contract and montoya also in the last year is there any chance of us making a move for him?

Eds answered this for me before, they said next summer is too far away to know about Montoya.

I think it would be a good signing but I think Sagna should stay with Montoya if he were to join

Not sure if he'd leave Barca, especially considering Dani Alves isn't getting much younger. But he'd be a great addition!

Don't know if anyone else has noticed this- but just looking at some of the gossip and the players we're apparently linked with (it's bit soon, but I guess the papers have to write something), is other fans comments?

We have/are been very easy to knock, no trophies blah, blah (although isn't nice that they have such high expectations of our club :P)- but now a new twist, I am just starting to see just a tad of bitterness and an edge to the mocking.

Frankly, I don't think anyone can take arsenal's new financial position (they've grown used to arsenal scripping and saving and having to sell).

What do people expect? We weren't going to take forever in paying off our stadium. At some point things were going to change- I think finally we are seeing that and Ozil is the first piece of that puzzle in forming a genuine challenging team.

At least I hope that is the case and Ozil wasn't bought to keep the" fans happy" - I want wenger and the club to sign players because *they* want them and are ambitious, not just to please us.

I guess we're see next summer (possibly Jan).

But just an interesting observation of other fans- perhaps a little fear/envy (?), just in case arsenal are serious about being serious.

Ozil completed 99% of his passes tonight.

Just watched a video of him from last night, omg, i've never seen a player so comfortable on the ball.

Jack and Ozil are going to terrorize defences, and have so much posession our defence will be bored!

Can't wait to see those two together.

But utd don't need that sort of player that's why they turned him down I should imagine when he begged them, 99% guess he might have made their bench in Carling cup games until he improved

Only 99%, I thought we were only signing exceptional talent from now on lol

Can you imagine the confusion in their defences 'who do we kick 1st Jack or the wizard of Ozil' can't wait to see 'em together
