He believes what?
Arsenal can afford to sell Mesut Ozil because Jack Wilshere can become a better player than him - Ray Wilkins
Of course - Wenger please follow Ray's brilliant advice.

Arsene seems quite relaxed about Ozil and Sanchez signing new deals and personally I don't buy into all this paper rubbish about them both asking the club to match what Pogba is on per week as very few clubs would even want to match those sort of wages even if they could afford too.
I think if they stay in England it will be with Arsenal and only Real Barcelona or Bayern will have what it takes to get their signatures.

Agree to a point but I can't see either going to real or barca, bayern I don't think will be interested either but you never know. I do think the paps will drag this out and hash it up til its boring though.

It's all part of the negotiations, don't forget Sanchez wasn't a huge success at Barcelona and Real allowed Ozil to leave. I wonder if Wenger's own position is playing a part in the negotiations? Is he staying and don't forget Wenger always has a higher salary paid by the club than the top paid player. Im'sure the pair will be tempted ny 5 years at 10m a year, plus a loyalty bonus.

I think a premier league winners medal and an appearance in the champions league final wouldn't go a miss either RG, 200k a week alone might not be enough if accompanied by another early bath as contenders in both the big competitions.

OK so Arsenal could face Real or Bayern in the next round. I would rather play one of the Portuguese clubs but the question I want to ask is this.
Raver, who would you like to see Spurs get in the next round of the Europa League?

It happens all the time in the spurs cycle. They get on the cusp can't push on and sell. A bit like us but with 2-3 league places lower. Erickson Ali and Kane will go . Kane and Ali I can see go to united as they would be perfect there and Erickson will go to a top European side.

Arsène Wenger gets a lot of stick for being too set in his ways and too rigid tactically, but him moving Alexis to striker has been a masterstroke and the whole team greatly.
Also my Mates and I have been having a debate about the top 10 best players in the league. I will share my list and see the response:
1 Alexis
2 Costa
3 Aguero
4 Ozil
5 Coutihno
6 Kos
7 KDB
8 Kane
9 Mata
10 Hazard
I know it'll be a bit controversial but i don't rate Hazard as highly as pundits or people seem to.

Yeah Steve it was a tough call to leave some players out, Especially Dembele who i think is a fantastic footballer and criminally underrated.

I think after the top 3 you'd have a case for the rest to swap order in anyway you like. You could make a case for Coutinho, Kane and Moses at Chelsea.

Risk Sanchez sell ozil for no less than 70 million considering what drogba's nephew cost the dead devils.

Sell, if they don't want to stop, we can't afford players running their contact down. If a player thinks the grass in greener, then get shot.

If they want to leave then I'm with steve, you couldn't blame Arsene for that.
It would be an undeniably massive downer if either left. They need to get the cheque book out.

It isn't wengers fault if they want to leave, they want to go for money or trophies. If we get good money we can reinvest.

I think the deal on the table should be simple. Give them 200k a week but if they want more then the previsio is that we have to at least bag the prem or champs league this year. As good as they are we still haven't done anymore than before they were here and that's a fact! Yes we are looking better and yes we could take the league this year but as it stands we're no better off.
For what ever reasons they both came here they came to better their careers and that they have done! Has Sanchez forgot what happened at Barcelona? Real we're more than happy to let ozil go. They have both become better under wengers wings. I agree in this day and age those two are defiantly worth 200k but anymore is a joke unless they bring the silverware.
