If we have all the money that they say we do, and get into the Champions League, EDs are these possible to come to Arsenal?
Edison Cavani (Napoli)
Tom Ince (Blackpool)
Cesc Fabregas (Barcelona)
Maxime Gonalons (Lyon)/Victor Wanayama (Celtic)
Julio Cesar (QPR)/ Rene Adler (Hamburg)
Julian Draxler (Schalke)
Loic Remy (QPR)
Douglas (Twente) {Ed027's Note - I would rule out Cavani, Fabreagas pinch of salt, all the rest yes
Believable0
Unbelievable0
Is Tom Ince (and Remy) really better than we already have? We need top top quality like Cesc, Draxler etc.
Agree0
Disagree0
Draxler is not top quality! He's a good young player definitely not a world beater anyway.
Agree0
Disagree0
I meant I thought Draxler had world beater potential (I know he's not a world beater now). He is considered better than Reus for his age and almost as good as Goetze so I'd say he is a top class signing, whereas Tom Ince has no where near that pedigree.

Well in ended 1-1 Chelsea and Spurs and the good thing it is now in our hands as point ahead of Spurs with all having 2 games to play. Win our 2 games and we have got 4th at least
It is going to be tight but Chelsea only 2 points ahead and also have two games so they could still slip up.

Don't take two victories for granted, we are capable of self destruction at all times. And the end of season always throws up surprise results

Hi eds, just wanted to ask is all this stuff about puma confirmed? And if so will it be announced soon? Also were adidas not interested? Thanks {Ed027's Note - Yes it is, it won't be announced any time soon imo, but if we have to we will. As I said before Adidas weren't willing to pay us big money.

Eds, Graham Hunter said yesterday the David Villa will be playing in the premier league next season with either Spurs or Arsenal. what's your take on that? {Ed027's Note - CL will be a big factor, if Spurs get it, expect him their, if we get it don't expect him, we have other targets

That's a crap replacement for Bale.

Chelsea vs Spurs what do people think. Obviously nobody wants a spurs win. But I can see a score draw. Especially if Bale is on form. Spurs defence are a bit of a shambles so I can see Oscar/Mata/Hazard combo ripping them apart.
If Spurs loose, we only need a win and a draw (unless spurs win both their games like 10-0). I have confidence in us getting 2 dull 1-0 or 2-1 wins.
Also fair play SAF, as much as I've despised him for many things, he undoubtedly been the best manager ever.

Chelsea to win then stoke to get a draw against them. Leaving us only needing a win against Wigan. Happy days.

Hi ed, as we have always had a tradition of developing young talent, I was looking at our current crop and wondering who may be good enough to become our next star. Jack aside, recent prodigies have found the step up a leap to far. Afobe, miyachi, coquelin, miquel, frimpong, yennaris, eastmond, emmanuel thomas have all been touted as the next big thing only to vanish off the radar quicker than an x factor winner returns to a career in waiting tables. Now we have jenkinson, the ox, Gibbs, eisfeld, akpom, gnarby. My feeling is the ox could be a world beater but the others I have serious reservations about. Clearly there is a massive leap from reserve to first team football. I personally would like to see arsene spend big as our youth experiment is proving much less successful than once was. We read about these boy wonders on there mega deals, but the are not making the step up. Vela, bendtner, merida, the list is endless. Richie rich

Jenkinson is great, have you forgotten how well he played when Sagna was out at the seasons start? Many of us thought Sagna wouldn't actually get back in the team!
Agree0

I think our academy is Over rated. Arsene Got this name as he 'use' to buy young players and turn them into world beater and he always had faith in his young side for years. Players actually coming through the academy to be WC is a different story Jack yes but who else? Cesc was poached from Barca he is not a product of our academy

Cheers SAF, the game will never be the same

US couldn't agree more prob the best manager football has ever seen kills me to say that but as a football fan as well as an arsenal fan you have to admire what he has achieved. Living legend in our sport even if he is a b******s who moaned constantly at the ref. goodbye red nose enjoy your horses.

So, would it seem logical that Moyes goes to United, along with Baines and Fellaini? Moyes is bookies' favourite and to be fair many people thought for a few seasons now that he'd be next in line. He has always achieved the maximum with his players and this season has been exemplary. I can just see this happening.

Hopefully chelsea can do us a favour but I really hope we don't take wigan lightly we have to get the job done next week.
Also a non arsenal related topic is that the end of the season will be sad day in English footbal and world football as the old nemesis fergie is gona retire even though the las 15 years we have been battling with him you have to comend him on what he has achieved and hopefully they can appoint someone to f**k it all up lool

Not totally arsenal related but Fergie has announced his retirement at the end of the season. Will be interesting to see who his replacement is and how he deals with the team.
Only worry is that it could be one of the people that have been lined up to replace Wenger when his contract runs out next summer.
Would love for their new manager to be shocking and for them to crumble next season, we can always hope!

Morning Gooners!
I am looking forward to this evening's game as everybody else.
I am feeling quite confident, because spurs will have to give every thing tonight to get something from the game and that will affect there performance on sunday which is away to Stoke :) and if Dembele, Parker and Lenon missing, it makes even more interesting!
What are your thoughts?

I'd start looking at Puma athletes
Namely:
Fabregas
Falcao
Reus
Veratti
Chiellini
Rui Patricio
Not saying any of them will happen, but we know how sponsors like their players to play for clubs they supply kits for

More than likely they will just try sign up players like Jack to make the brand stronger in England they'll want English players

01 May 2013 23:17:40
Ed have we bid for messi {Ed027's Note - Apparently so, we bid 11m plus Gervinho, they said they'd consider if we offered Denilson, we're considering our options
{Ed027's Note - We never did offer Denilson, Wenger rates him too highly
