Hey lads, I know Jeff Reine-Adelaide didn't play much today but I believe he is our future pogba and zelalem can be our future ozil they are both young and they seem to be doing really well at the moment. what's your thoughts guys? I know I'm looking way ahead but let's get some opinion here.

There is no way on earth we are getting pogba. I agree about the future but i thought afobe was our future and he is someone elses. Time will tell.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2016 09:49:50
I wasn't saying we were getting bogba mate, I was just drawing some similarity in play with riene-adelaide.

10 Jan 2016 17:24:49
Yes sorry, my reading of your post was dodgy. You mean he is our future pogba, let's hope so.

There's a sentence I never thought I would ever write.

Scouser here in peace. Would like to say Arsenal is an absolute joy to watch. Seen your match against Sunderland and wow, thought they changed the pitch to only the opposition's half

Anyway goes without saying, can't see us winning the league this year and if not, I hope you lot get it!

Congratulations and well done!

Hi Pat,
Thank you kind Sir, but if you want us to win the League you have to let us beat you Wednesday please, lol.

You will have to throw in a bribe or two Dags, jelly and ice cream topped with hundreds and thousands should do it.

YNWA.

{Ed025's Note - you will have to speak up mick...im a trifle deaf.. :)

09 Jan 2016 22:01:47
Jeez Ed, I thought you Mickey Mouser's had a funny sense of humour :-) .

Funny enough, I saw two fit blonde bird having a wrestling match covered in jelly and sponge cake and hundreds and thousands.
When the bout was over a fat bird stood up and wanted to fight me.
I declined as I didn't fancy trifling with her.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your good at re-cycling dags...ill give you that mate.. :)

09 Jan 2016 21:58:31
Love it ed025 you made me chuckle that!

I once saw a dead guy in the street. He was covered in hundreds and thousands, chocolate sauce and nuts. Turned out he had topped himself.

Pudding things in perspective Ed, with our currant situation, we will probably cream it on Wednesday to put the icing on the cake.

Ed,
You can't beat an old classic mate :-)

10 Jan 2016 00:11:18
Mick,
I'm not going to SUGAR COAT it. All your best players have DESSERTed you, including Joe FLANagan and Mario BaloJELLY.
Klopp will have to try and WHIP your fit players into shape, but I'm sure he will be ANGEL DELIGHTed with a draw.
I don't FRENCH FANCY your chances mate.

Starting to like Campbell

Not sure about the Ox, hope he can kick on and be more consistent, but must say, even taking injuries in to account, I am not excited by him this season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Jan 2016 20:36:58
He's been decent mate.
Good squad player and showing a bit of potential.

Definitely a keeper (not as in saves penalties, but the other type. You know, as in having a good girlfriend who can cook and likes football and beer and is handy with a spanner. That type of keeper) .

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 20:50:08
I'm with you Sussex mate, I'm a very big fan of the Ox and pre this season i was screaming for him to be in the starting 11 but he's been very poor so far.
Great lad with great attitude and ability to be a premier league top player beyond question but he needs to up his confidence levels somehow.
Has to be said on present torm if everyone is fit he wouldn't make the bench, shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 21:35:43
What ox needs is a run of games a position and an injury free run, sadly i don't see any. The kids got tslentcand needs a break, not the injury kind though.

Nice home draw against City Utd or Chelsea would be great, yeah it might be difficult but it would be exciting a bit like mini Barcelona warm up game.

What's the matter with you man :-)
Don't you want to rip utd apart again but in 15 minutes instead of 20 this time?
Play city with Sanchez wrote his time and show them how lightly they got off last time?
Mourinho has gone now so we can even beat Chelsea in competitive matches again and who wants to wait for that any longer than they have to?
Home tie against Wycombe Peterborough or spurs would be great for those clubs I know but for us?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 21:38:54
Id like to play sunderland in every round, shame they have been knocked out. We will get plenty of tests in this competition but i'm all for an easy run. If there is such thing.

{Ed025's Note - im with you steve, if your having a fight...always try and find a little guy.. :)

Yeah but if you take on the 5ft tall 89 year old bloke with arthritis and get a hiding it takes some living down Ed, I know I'm still trying after 30 years :- (

09 Jan 2016 15:18:06
Okay - let's put a 45m bid in for the Dortmund dude and a 40m bid in for Romelu Lukaku. Either will do fine for me, I am not greedy. I would prefer the Dortmund striker I think due to flexibility in the front 3.

Then throw in Howedes to replace Per next season or Stones.

That just leaves a back up for each fullback and a back up to Coq who replaces Arteta and Flamini

Job done.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - well thats that sorted then SY.. :)

09 Jan 2016 15:31:43
Fifa 17 out already? :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 19:35:02
Getting stones and lukaku from Everton would be ambitious, can't see either leaving in January, and don't think both would be aloud to leave in the summer.

Ed002.please don't let a select minority ruin it for the rest of us, I for one come on here everyday to read what's happening with the Arsenal and you seem to have inside information which we all crave, for some reason a few can't except what they are reading but I reiterate the majority of us are very much grateful for your knowledge.

Again please don't let some ruin it for others

Hope to see you posting again soon :)

Thanks ed.

09 Jan 2016 13:14:15
I may be one of the 'minority' that press a point with Ed002 and although I respect his opinions, he must also respect our opinions. Indeed, we can beg to differ, as this is a banter and rumours site, which clearly provides for opinion opposed to facts. I believe that I am always courteous and merely stated my opinions and at times respectfully disagreed. Wishing Ed002 all the best.

Agree3 Disagree2

09 Jan 2016 13:47:49
But rg69, he's here basically doing us a favour. You're here to find out info and have banter with fellow fans. Share your opinions, but how about keeping negative opinions directed at eds to yourself. It affects all of us, and none of us want it.

Agree2 Disagree2

09 Jan 2016 13:56:41
In fairness to RG69, I don't think he disrespected Ed in any way.

Agree with above poster, Ed002 we all totally respect your invaluable input, I for one hope it continues.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont think it was just RG dags who i dont think was abusive, but sometimes trying to convince people that the sun will rise in the morning when they are adamant that it wont can grind you down i suppose, i suspect he will be back before long mate and continue his good work..

09 Jan 2016 14:56:54
Very sorry not having ed002 around here, but every man have the right to choose his own limits about disrespect.
Hope we can have you're work back soon Sir.

Very true Ed025,

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 10:26:41
Just been think of our midfield and wondering your opinion guys. So for attacking midfield we have Santi and Ozil. For box to box we Ramsey and possibly Elneny. For defensive midfield we only have Coq (long term) . Where does Wilshire fit in? We sit need 'n cdm even with Elneny.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Jan 2016 10:49:18
Apparently Arteta is playing today so I'd guess he's our new DM singing to cover Flamini who is our cover for Le Coq, as for Elney he's very much an unknown quantity and as much as people are talking him up he is every bit as likely to be a squad player for years who moves on without ever making an impact as an astute singing like Kante.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 11:25:18
Wiltshire slots in neatly to the middle table in the physio room, right next to the table reserved for the Ox on the one side and Walcott on the other.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ooooh epping..very cynical mate.. :)

09 Jan 2016 11:44:47
G62 you are really not buying the elneny move. There are so many players came from leagues that aren't that strong but made a huge impact such as suarez, ibra, willian and so on, give the guy a chance before you write him off. I'm saying he will be an immediate hit but he also might. He still young and he has the physic. I really hope I'm right mate. We all wish for big names and hi profile players but all those players started for somewhere.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 12:48:59
I'm not writing him off at all Moe but I'm being IMO realistic about his chances of becoming a top premier league player, I think the players youve mentioned above were all a lot higher rated before coming to the premier league as the price they cost at the time suggests.
Zante was a 5 million super bargain and of course so could Elney be but the odds on it happening aren't fantastic because there's a reason teams pay 40 to 80 million on players and don't all just go out and pay 5 million for their players each season.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 13:08:37
Have to agree with you 62.if he is as hot as so are suggesting, the price would be a tad higher IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 13:55:57
To be fair most players coming from smaller leagues don't cost much. Because it's a risk. Doesn't mean it won't be a great signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 13:58:31
Disagree, Paul Pogba didn't cost Juventus a penny.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 14:45:05
I really got what you mean g62, but spotting a talent early can be a bargain, in other cade dawning cost liverpool like 20 mil and carrol 35 mil, and as dags mentioned pogba gone for free. Again mate I'm not saying he will be a hit but I'm being very hopeful and trying to have faith in our scouts and wenger.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2016 09:35:46
Hi Eds,
Just reading all this stuff about pep would be a perfect fit for us. Say Wenger does win the league, would him going upstairs and pep coming in be a possibility or is it just between City, united and chelsea for his signature?

Thanks!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Jan 2016 10:00:17
If Wenger were to leave at the end of his current contract in 2017, I do not believe he will consider moving upstairs. Assuming his health holds, I believe he may, if offered take another club job abroad, possibly at PSG and then manage the French national team. As Wenger keeps himself fit and loves the day to day work running a club side, I could see him managing at club level until his mid-70's. Don't rule out an extension of his current deal at Arsenal. He is taking the club into a new era, with 2 FA Cup wins and a serious Premier League challenge this season. Imagine he were to win the Premier League this season and follow that up with a successful 2016-2017 season, would he want to leave without winning the Champions League, assuming he has a squad capable of challenging?

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - its called going out at the top RG, SAF did the same mate..

09 Jan 2016 13:09:58
I may be proved wrong, but I don't think Wenger would depart as a desire to go out at the top. He has stated that assuming his health holds, he would depart when he believes he has taken the club as far as he can. I also believe, he was wounded by the fans turning on him, as well as the possibility that now his marriage has broken down and his daughter has grown up, he may have other reasons, possibly a new partner, to be in France.

Agree0 Disagree2

09 Jan 2016 13:51:13
Rg69, he will be offered a role uostairs. He might or might not take it. But as for moving abroad full time, no he wont. He's lived in the same part of London going to the same restaurants and seeing his same local friends for 20 years practically. He's settled. At most he'll take the France national job because that is practically part time. But I know for a fact he's settled where he is.

09 Jan 2016 04:17:06
Ed02 my first question for January transfer window. As you know Arsenal have made an offer for aubameyang do you think transfer can happen this month for aubameyang to Arsenal and do you think Arsenal will make an improved offer as u already stated that offer is lower than asking price? Thanx.

{Ed002's Note - I am no longer providing any information regarding Arsenal Wajid. Sorry.}

I understand that negotiations are ongoing. My own feeling is that this will be an extremely difficult deal to pull off in this window, but may happen in the summer window.
