{Ed001's Note - long story but I got misled by a letting agent into believing my landlord had agreed early termination of my lease, only to find out it wasn't true when he tried to cash the rent cheque after I had spent my money preparing to move. Thankfully I managed to borrow enough to get a week to raise the rest and the donations covered the shortfall now. So I am stuck here in Dubai for 4 months as I have to pay the rent anyway, not that I can go anywhere yet as I have to finish paying off the cheque and then get my passport cleared.
I was supposed to be going to Spain to stay with my parents for the rest of the year to save up for my wedding, so I have just wasted money on shipping fees etc as I had to cancel it all at the last moment and they don't give full refunds. Also gutted as I had arranged for the use of a TV studio and equipment to film some short films and do interviews for the sites.
Whereabouts in Dubai are you mate?}

Watching Giroud this weekend made me wonder. Is he a decent player in the wrong formation.
Don't get me wrong, I can't label him world-class. Aguero is world-class. Giroud is not Aguero.
That said, he does offer a huge presence in the box. For a team constantly described as "weak", Grioud has the strenght to face upto any CB pairing.
What usually results is a flick / back-heel which either is placed to an on-running player OR is placed to a NON-running player.
Imagine a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 setup like PSG (where wide players constatntly cut-in) .

Giroud has some great qualities.
He has 21 goals and 6 assists (all comps) in what was a poor season of form for him. So he's obviously not s#! + as some people like to think.
Is biggest problem is a weak mentality. The more he misses in a match the less likely he looks like he'll score as his confidence drops and keeps dropping.
He is not and never will be world class but he would would take a giant step forward in his career if he manned up a bit a kept a cool head. He looks to me to feel sorry for himself when it's not going his way.
The irony is Walcott always seems to keep a composed demeanor when playing poorly and might actually benefit from being a little unsure of himself.

If he can get another 7/ 8 PL goals it would make a big difference to his confidence and a big difference to our title aspirations.

I think if we had players who would score around him it wouldn't look as bad. Ramsay can't hit a barn door this year, Walcott never has been able to. Sanchez has been okay but he can't do it himself. if the players behind him scored 7-10 each a year say no-one would be questioning Giroud as our striker.

{Ed001's Note - we do have an android site that this is discussed in detail on, but the basics are just about any box will do, it is the apps you use ie Kodi or Mobdro, that enable you to get the channels. I use an old phone with a HDMI cable to do the same thing, rather than buying a box.}

I'm looking forward to the final match of the season on Sunday. Both our result and the Toot's dismal result went our way at the weekend. The two results that didn't go our way, were Sunderlland beating Chelsea and Newcastle failing to beat relegated Villa. This means that a Sunderland win at home to Everton in the midweek match, will condemn Newcastle to the Championship. I hope that Sunderland fail to win and that Newcastle will still have a chance of staying up, when they face the Toot.
My prime motive is that I want Arsenal to finish as high up the table as possible. Finishing above the Toot would simply be a bonus.
