I am super excited to get a glimpse at Mustafi and Perez tomorrow. So intrigued to see what Perez is all about :) (even if it is only a cameo apperiance) imagine he bangs in a Hatty lol

Mustafi and kos partnership should be absolute rock and with xhaka sitting just in front. lads we finally have a decent defence (on paper) it could quite easily be the best defence in the prem, with arguably the best midfield in the prem. We are title contenders!

Can't wait for KO

If we're within 3pts of the leader's going into May we will indeed be title contenders but until then we are still the club which few without those rosey specs on will take seriously until we actually do it.
Let's hope this is the season ww finally shake off that also ran reputation and put in the title bid thad makes pundits opposition and most importantly potential signings take us again.

What if kos/ mustafi become the best CB partnership in the EPL plus Shaka continued to impress next to santi with bite and distribution - doesn't that change the calculation and put us right on the mix for the title? We could be tough team to play against, along with our flair! COYG.

Not really, I think we bought him to be part of the best combo and with Xhaka we are looking pretty strong, it was a rhetorical question for haters. its funny this site is ass backwards, the positive ones are the trolls. see you all at the parade if you don't hurt yourselfs jumping back on the bandwagon.

@rooster lol. It is a bit negative here sometimes. At the moment, I'm pretty keen to see the new boys. A good defensive performance this weekend and Perez sticking a goal in with Sanchez and Ozil playing well would be a needed tonic!

What are you on about? I'm rarely pessimistic about Arsenal, but ofcourse it's a what if - you can't tell me it's a given that they will be a hit?

You've just basically said 'what if our team are really good, wouldn't we be really good? '

I can't wait to see them in action either Ozilbaggins, and I think we could be competitive in th eleague if things go our way too. My apologies for calling a statement that began with 'what if' a 'what if statement' lol.

If all the new signings play tomorrow ( which i don't think all will start) and they bomb, it doesn't make them bad signings, if they come in and excel it doesn't make them the buiz either. Ten games minimum to even start to make a proper judgement. One swallow and all that. Reyes and gervinho looked world beaters in their first few games, ozil and henry looked a waste of money in their first few games, lots of games later and?
It will be nice to see them all make a great start but the proof is how they finish.
