I have been officially been told arshavin tomorrow will be flying to Moscow and can also confirm he did not travel to Germany as his wife is expecting imminently! Not sure about the Honda coming the others way however.

Itk

Believable16 Unbelievable23

Correct his wife is prenant, but incorrect on germany, he is there

Agree1 Disagree1

AA23 hasn't traveled with the team to Germany? HA....do u know..Arsenal has released videos of him training there?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's on all the pictures on the website you person terrible rumour at least make it realistic you BSer

Agree0 Disagree0

But I saw a picture of him in Germany with the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers for the insight now I know when I see (Itk) the post is complete utter balls.

DD

Agree1 Disagree0

Arshavin did travel to Germany your informaton is crap mate

Agree0 Disagree0

He is in Germany u tit he's in the training pics on arsenal.con

Agree0 Disagree0

What the hell does that mean?!

Paul

Agree0 Disagree0

According to songs cousin whos my girlfriends second cousins step sister itk is got it correct ha

Agree0 Disagree0

As a 4 season ticket holder at AFC, how much more rap r we going to take, every year we loose 2 seniior players This confirms we are a selling club, with a top 4 ambition
The fact is RVP is leaving, ledlley king viewed my property as it is for sale, and he said his next viewing is RVP's house
FACT

Agree0 Disagree2

That would be greathonda is a great player but he is currently with germany and thats not going to happen

Agree0 Disagree0

To the 'FACT' guy...i am a season ticket holder too but i have had the decency of actually looking into our club history, our financials and transfer policy over the last 10 years and I am sorry to say we are not a selling club...we have been hampered by debts we have had to pay ...but Arsenal has always tried to blend youth (inspired by the ajax philosophy) and quality players..this has not always been the case recently but we are showing ambition in the transfer market and you should commend your team for it insteaf of crying over 1 player...IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE LET HIM GO...NO PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THE CLUB...and anyone who has been a season ticket for longer than Wenger's term should know that
ED

Agree1 Disagree0

Rediculious rumour! why bother talking s**t, people like you just ruin a good sight like this...

Agree0 Disagree0

The owl was in germany during the first few days but i think he has been given permission to fly back to london due to the imminent birth of his child. any employer would allow a worker to be with his wife when about to give birth!! especially if he was on a trip outside of the country.
this doesn't mean that he is going anywhere. it just shows that arsenal are a normal company that offer workers compassionate rights.

i for one do not want arshavin to leave as i believe he has alot to offer.

on behalf of all gooners, i wish andrei and his wife health and happiness on the news of the new birth........ bunch of tossers some of you who only want to make rumours when no-one offers congratulations

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say that he didn't travel to Germany if on the Arsenal website there is a video which shows him watching Santos vs Song in penalties after training in GERMANY...

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha another fine sample of horse sh1t, didnt read this the other day but i did watch Arshavin play today in Germany. i love how people on the site think they are experts but prove they are just a55holes talk sh1t.

A question for Ed002, after SAF's recent comments do you expect RVP to go to United? And if so do you suspect it will be over soon or will it drag right through to deadline day.
Thanks a lot

Invincible49 {Ed002's Note - I think he will likely go to Old Trafford. Always tough to say when.}

Believable11 Unbelievable33

Bulls***, he ain't going to play for old red nose in a lop sided stadium

Agree1 Disagree0

Do you think if we made an offer for shrek Rooney, Fergie would even consider selling to us or a pl rival. He'd choke on his chewy.
Butty

Agree0 Disagree0

Silvestre?

Tommy

Agree0 Disagree0

Silvestre was sabotage

Agree0 Disagree0

But he was pants lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Wake up.... fergie said contract talks not going well so a few clowns put silly comments on forums and you all follow.lolo lol.... this is absolute sheep sence one person says something and everybody follows..... come on arsenal have never sold a player to man u.....

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess you have never heard of Frank Stapelton then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Or Viv Anderson

Sammy Nelson The greatest left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed i think your a bit sheepish {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you mean, I assume fluffy and cute and I will take it as a complement.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Or Viv anderson

Agree0 Disagree0

I should of said never sold one to united under wenger.. i think he will stay with afc.

van der wiel to fly in over the weekend to discuss personal terms ahead of his proposed move from ajax for a bargain 7 million....

Believable36 Unbelievable63

Where did you here that

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope your not full of bull where you hear this

Agree1 Disagree0

And what happens when segna is fit....i dont think he is that great a defender....comfortable on the ball, but thats it...think our priority ls in other central positions......................
,

Agree0 Disagree0

Van Der Weil can play across the back so when Sagna is back he could take the LB spot as im sure Gibbs or Santos will most likely be injured by then!

Man utd bid end of july was roughly £14 million, and thus rejected.

Arsenal are asking for over £20million, if they keep this stance Van will still be an Arsenal player come september 1st.

However i have been told Ferguson is contemplating a bid of £17 million, to test Arsene's resolve.

I believe this may actually be enough to clinch it, expect some news of this to come beginning of next week, if signed he will most likely miss the first game.

EC GUNNER.

Believable18 Unbelievable42

Disagree. we do not need to sell him really and are just rebuffing offers, which is confusing sir alex. the club seeem to have quoted over 20mil but not sure they would even take that, particularly to give rlast season's best player to man u. i expect to see him playing for us next season unless he kicks up a real fuss. just hope he loses captaincy if he doesnt sign new contract.

Agree1 Disagree0

If he wants to go man u then sit him on the bench for the season and let him rot because thats what he will deserve. also why should we care if we will lose 15 mill,if we keep selling to these manchester clubs they will be wanting carzola next season. enough is enough arsenal need to stand up to these a******* players.

Agree4 Disagree0

Test arsenals resolve 3 million extra wow

Agree1 Disagree1

If he leaves .We will loose more if we don't get the goals to win something or finish in top 4 ..I say keep him for last year why new strikers bed in .we will only loose what we paid for him

Agree3 Disagree0

!7 million on your bike fergie.

Agree0 Disagree2

If he goes manu i can see mancini falling out with the city board.

i dont see manu stumping up the cash. i think the moura persie chases were there to drive share prices up as much as poss.

i stil expect him to go to man city once the hughes deadwood left behind leaves.

Agree0 Disagree0

£3million is still a huge amount of money.

Just because you throw it around on your football management games, dont think reality is anything like it, Because it really isnt.

the offer is not only for money either, its public image too..

take for instance if arsenal get a bid of 24mil, public view is 20mil is enough. so even if he sold to man utd it wouldnt look bad due to public would think we got as much as we could for a want-away player.

man utd offer 17 mil, wenger is tempted as he doesnt want to lose out on 17mil due to 1 player walking away in a years time or signing a preliminary contract in January, however he doesnt want to sell to an extreme rival for less than what people think he should be valued at....

same problem we had last year in a sense, fab wanted out, but wenger wanted to get enough cash to appease the fans that there was nothing else he could do

thats the basis of it however its far more complicated when it comes down to it.

Squillaci possibly being sold to Olympiacos
Talks are reportedly at an 'advanced' stage with a fee of around £1m suggested

Believable51 Unbelievable7

How much would it cost just to cancel his contract, or any of the deadwood for that matter, i'd nearly just cut our loses and spenda few million to just booth them out! Or off load them on free's with sell-on percentages.

Sheeny

Agree0 Disagree0

The story originated from Eurosport.fr

Melberg out, Squillaci in. I struggle to believe they will pay 1mln... Even so, this is a good result.

One down, 4 to go. (in other news Vela is official).

1. Chamakh
2. Arshavin
3. Bendtner
4. Park

Billybob

Agree2 Disagree0

I consulted Van Persie and he agreed that it was in my best interests to make the move
Quote from Ozyakup

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor guy, I know hes not the best but the fans were pretty harsh on him.

Agree0 Disagree1

Source of qoute - ?

Also, I wouldn't read too much into that. This deal happened 2 months ago. It was probably just RVP giving advice about progressing his career and getting the most playing time - not about Arsenal's ambitions...

They are higher than Besiktis....

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Best news of the summer if true mate
polishgunner

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this £1m offer is actually insulting for a player of his quality!

Arsenal should be offering at least 2m for Olympiacos to take him...

Ozzy Ozyakup has completed his move to Besiktas.

IMO one of the daftest sales we have ever completed, showed glimpses of really class last season, what an error. Still it's his home country and most likely his request rather than us wanting to sell.

Top, top young player, all the best to him, hope he does really well there and gives our youth/reserve system a good rep, when commentators can say things like 'signed from Almaar to Arsenal in 2008 and joined their youth where he developed into the player he is today' etc etc.

Good luck Ozzy, gutted you've gone!

Metal Gooner

Believable42 Unbelievable9

Ozzy has just said the offer was too good to refuse and they can give him first team football. Arsenal would just loan him for a few years.

Btw, Ozzy also said RVP was his mentor at Arsenal and RVP advised him to leave and take the Turkish deal

Marty

Agree0 Disagree1

He wanted to leave but you know what its his lose, Hell probably end up like Merida anyway.

P.s. i read some where Rvp told him to leave

Clg

Agree1 Disagree0

This deal happened ages ago and he was born in netherlands although he is ethnically turkish

Agree1 Disagree0

I know the deal happened ages ago- the Vela deal happened ages ago too. However it's just been re-announced (I believe this deal was announced by us a while back, just like Vela) so I thought I'd wish him well.

In fairness to RVP, his advice is not that bad on this one. Ozzy will be a top player. Maybe if he'd stayed with us he could have been world class, I referred to him as Gold-dust. But we have to be realistic, at Arsenal, he's yet another young player who is good enough to play first team premier league football, but just not for a team like us. Does he want to be loaned all the time and then maybe still not get his place over some bigger name player who just disappoints? Consider Ramsey, Diaby and Rosicky, the years of faith we showed, and then consider that players like Lansbury never get a chance when they are certainly good enough to deserve one.

Oz could have been outstanding for us and still not got a shot. Look at Coquelin. Any other team and he's got first team football every week - not at us.

So in fairness to RVP he probably gave him very good advice - you're good enough to play, if you want to play, go elsewhere. Fair enough imo.

Here's one you didn't see coming! Flight plans submitted at Heathrow airport for a chartered flight to Moscow Saturday 11th August. The flight then returns to London Sunday 12th. Outward passenger list has a certain Mr A Arshavin. The return list has a Mr K Honda! My brother is flight operation manager at heathrow and a massive gooner!

Seamus

Believable37 Unbelievable38

I clicked unbelievable but I pray it's true.

StEvE

Agree2 Disagree0

Quite honestly mate I do not believe that for one second but if it happens I will be ecstatic. Honda is quality

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol got to ur love ur effort for a well made up rumour. Nice detail.

Agree2 Disagree0

Get real

Agree1 Disagree0

Arshavin is in Germany with the squad you tool!

Agree1 Disagree0

This is the biggest load of BS i've ever heard

Agree1 Disagree0

LOL this is one rumour that could be absolutly true and at the same time be totally meaningless regarding Arsenal Football club.

Understand just because a football player flies somewhere doesn't mean they about to sign somewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

When you file a flight plan it goes to the air traffic control operational department and has no section for passengers names. I'm a commercial airline pilot and have been for 8 years, after having filed hundreds of flight plans in my time when I worked in operations I can confirm this is complete rubbish. A flight plan asks for such detail as aircraft registration, tail design for recognition, vhf/hf capability, departure/arrival airport, routing etc...

Why make this up mate?

Paul

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip!

Agree0 Disagree0

H - this is SO not true

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha good effort mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Bulls**t why make up stuff to sound like you know something you goon

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously?? OMG! Ha that has to be the biggest load of rubbish I have heard in a while. If your going to try and fool people then at least do a little bit of research first, Arshavin is in Cologne with the squad. The game is Sunday so ... you and your brother have fun with your LEGO Heathrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought you cant fly private planes from london during the olympics?

bs18

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance, you cant book a return itinerary with the return passenger as a different name. total crap. There would be two completely separate tickets.

Rob

Agree0 Disagree0

K Honda that's probably 20% of the men in Japan's name you person
DD

Agree0 Disagree0

It true your brother has probably just got his P45. Sackable offence is releasing passenger manifest information into the public domain.

ClockEndClockEndGiveUsaWave

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol!!! Thats a wasted plane ticket, hes in germany till monday! Nice try!

Goonerman

Agree0 Disagree0

It sounds like lies and a total waste of our time to bother reading it but deep down inside i hope it happens because Honda is pure quality and nothing else but arshavin is the complete opposite and if this turns out to be true and Mr Arsene Wenger decides to go with it then i and other of arsenal top fans can see this side easily pick up silverware.

Agree0 Disagree1

Whilst these types of posts are a waste of space and can p me off at times... I kinda like them as well... cause they give me a real big smile on my face- what utter nonsense this is.

For a start is Mr A, flying back from germany to then fly to moscow...? That was enough for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Correction! Arshavin has not travelled to Germany! I'm not saying this rumour is correct, but I can categorically tell you that arshavin was in an unnamed London hospital on Tuesday of this week with his heavily pregnant wife! How do I know? I will post a phot of me and Andre at the hospital taken on that very day to the eds today!

Agree1 Disagree0

What a plank, do you think when there's a player exchange that they are sitting there with Honda and wont let him out of there sight under they see arsh, like a movie drug deal, oh my god how funny

spanner

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^^can you also show the flight tickets also! Then you can really set the world alight with your rumour....bravo effort though. devongooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin has been pictured with the rest of thr team training in Germany on arsenal.com

Agree0 Disagree0

What an absolute waste of valuable internet space! Get a life mate.......

Agree0 Disagree0

I work as an operations resource controller and flight plans have nothing to do with a passenger list you person. Flight plans have routes, weights of aircraft, expected eta and give the pilots a rough guide to amount of fuel needed. Stop making up crap. The only people that will know the passengers on the aircraft are the airline. This will be on a manifest and passed to the handeling agents 24 hours befor. A DCS (departure control system) will then input the seats to all those that haven't ore booked a seat. Thanks for the fauls rumour u tool box

Agree1 Disagree0

Ha ha - like swapping prisoners at checkpoint charlie

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin is going to russia but its to see his wife give birth again.

i want him gone hes a waste of space and has no drive what so ever towards football now. he angers me

daily mail say we're after ki sung yeong of celtic for £8million. supposeddly he's the korean gerrard

Believable16 Unbelievable40

I watch a lot of scottish football as I live up there and be rest assured he is far from a gerrard ! Not arsenal class at all

Agree2 Disagree0

He is a fantastic player, great passer and is a dead ball expert! Clearly the guy above is deluded!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Very good player. If Arsenal are to get anyone from Celtic though it should be Wanyama. Ed0007 has said that Ki is off to QPR.

Agree2 Disagree0

If hes the korean gerrad amd the white pele!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry but how you can say Ki is a fantastic player when he can't even get in the Celtic side is beyond me. He's so poor it's unreal. Championship standard at best.

And you had the cheek to call someone deluded....

G95

Agree2 Disagree0

The Korean Gerrard! I hate people who say someone is 'the Nepalese Neymar' and what not. He is Korean and plays in midfield that's where the association ends.

In Arsene I Trust.

Agree0 Disagree0

Senderos was built up as the next tony Adams and look what happened there

DD

Agree0 Disagree0

He's good in a very average league. I doubt he is arsenal class!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a good player, the best midfielder celtic have imo BUT they seem to prefer brown and ledley over him. not sure if he is arsenal class but he is still young so he could be in a couple of years, i certainly wouldn't drop arteta or song for him just now. i do agree with the second post he is far from gerrard but he does have a great range of passing.

DJ

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason he doesn't get in the Celtic team is because the quality they have in MF and his style isn't suited to the Scottish game. The guy is the star of his international team and would be a great signing for us, on and off the park. Shirts sales would go through the roof and we would have a player that can back up his marketability with on-field displays.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never seen him play or that wanyama bloke but surly if they were any goood they would not be playing in scotland?

Agree0 Disagree0

Being honest, i wouldnt take any player from celtic, i watch alot of scottish football as well as i am from glasgow, however i think wanyama is good player in spl, he isnt arsenal class, i would rather have coquelin developed that buy him, as for ki, again good player in spl not arsenal quality

Agree0 Disagree0

So that means he's always injured and speaks with a squeaky voice....

Agree0 Disagree0

The amount of rubbish people talk is staggering. How you can write a player off because he plays in Scotland is beyond me. Ki is a player who has loads of potential, being a Celtic supporter I have seen him play many times and he would be a cracking player under Wengers development. Would love to see him get the move

Agree0 Disagree0

Sickof this "if he plays in Scotland" crud. Celtic are a massive club with world wide appeal who are stuck in an average league. They have an excellent scouting system that time and again spots young emerging talent which is bought at a good price, developed and sold on. Many a great player has been bought from Scottish teams. Ki is a superb young player who is deemed to light weight for our game. He has shone at the Olympics and would be a good buy for Arsenal. You need to get your head out your a..e and realise that a player doesnt have to be over priced and from the continent to be good. I hope you get Ki as he deserves a bigger stage and I would love to see him thrive in a better league. Pedro (proud Scottish Celtic supporter).

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS your arrogance shows no bounds this is the team who have just promoted Kyle Bartley to their first team squad

Agree0 Disagree0

To the post that says if there good they wouldnt be playing in scotland let me point out a few names that came through scotland and are doing pretty well.
first you have arteta, charlie adam (average player here told not good enough), steven fletcher (12mil player) boy mccarthy from wigan, jelavic tripled in value since january yet not got any better.

arsenal are apparently close to sealing a deal for nuri sahin

Believable40 Unbelievable23

I ve heard otherwise, on several different sites I have seen that the possibility of this deal going through is very slim and will do so only if Alex Song was to part company with Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

We still need back up for song

Agree0 Disagree0
