ED, is there any confirmed interest in anyone for he january transfer window ? Also do you think brek shea is coming because of a potential move or not ? {Ed002's Note - I am comfortable that Arsenal was the second English club to enquire after Doumbia but I expect he may be priced very high. Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this year and there must be a decent chance. Eriksen is a player who interests Arsenal but like Goetze and Hazard I don't see a move to the Emirates as likely. Marin and Martin are more likely in my view and we can confirm that there has been interest.}

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but as of the 1st of January can we approach Cahill, Hoillett, Anelka and Montolivo and get them to sign pre contracts. These players coming in on the free would really help our squad. For example if u sold Squallici, Denilson, Arshavin or Vela and Bentdner in the summer and used those 4 as replacements that's a good start then a couple of Marquee signings and that's a great squad with each position covered at least twice with good players then we have the younger fringe players as well around the squad. Somethings telling me though that we can't approach Montolivo until 1st march. I think it has something to do with the fact he currently plays in a different country. Might have to pay about 1 mil compensation to B'Burn for Hoillett but so what. What's everyone think?
RD {Ed002's Note - You are wrong about January except in the case of Montolivo. Players under the same FA cannot sign pre-contract agreements. You are wrong about Montolivo in respect of March.}

I agree with hoilett he has the potential to be better than walcott and defo better than arshavin
