I too don't think he'll sign anyone, he'll come out with some crap about diaby being a new signing....hes just a jerk.....things will only change if supporters vote with there feet and stay away.

Wenger has said no players to come in unless some players leave. I can't believe this, at this rate we won't even be playing Europa league next year.

Another pessimistic fan. Just what we need. I'm quite sure you will find its the other way around. He said he will not let anyone leave unless he buys someone first. Which looks likely. Really lets just wait till the window slams shut before we start complaining about how we've done in it. As tempting as it too complain lol

Wenger quoted "Arsene Wenger says Arsenal will be bringing new players in before any leave the Emirates" so other way round pal!

That's not what he said.

He said that no more players will leave, unless new players come in.

Very different statement, but easy to mis-read if all you are is negative!

Our club is a shambles - would Fergie have allowed the Walcott saga to drag on this long - no he would not. It does not take much to realise that qualification for the CL is a must with our wage bill etc, yet Wenger sticks with the unreliable players such as Diaby (a great player when fit) and hopeless players like Ramsey. Here we are approaching the middle of January and no sign of any new players. At least we can be thankful that Gervinho will be missing for a few weeks - he is simply terrible.

Broken promises - Wenger knows that he will be out at the end of the season, so if he is interested in any players he will wait until he joins his new club and then buy them. He and the club are taking us all for a ride (and of course our money).

Wenger said that no more players would be leaving until we have got some players in, yes we got rid of djourou and chamakh on loan but he means, rosicky, arshavin etc.

Fear not Diaby will be back for a game and then oops

Just read this on Arsenal Website :

"Arsène Wenger says his priority in the January transfer window is to keep his squad together and bring injured players back into the fold.

The Frenchman admits that talks to extend Theo Walcott's contract are progressing well, and is optimistic a deal will be done soon.

But when questioned about the possibility of signing new players, the Arsenal manager said there are more pressing matters at hand."

Think it just shows why we will not be buying anyone.

Sick and tired of all this now. There is 50M to spend on players. But yet again the board don't seem to want to anything about it. The squad needs strengthening and relying on Diaby's fitness is not ideal at all. The manager has said he is looking to bring in 3 or 4 players in the window and nothing has been done.

Enough of ths crap..time to go..this squad needs help NOW

Now that the issue regarding ticket prices at The Emirates is becoming a problem, I expect to see quite a few empty seats, especially if we are in a position where we can win nothing again. This may finally make the board see sense and take action especially as they will not be having their priviledged pockets lined with the fans hard earned money. It would not be so bad if we had a team full of quality players, but we only have a few and the rest are average at best, or in some cases awful!

Deep down we all knoiw Wenger will not be spending the money needed to get us challenging for any trophies, he is deluded and cannot see that he and the board are killing the once great Arsenal !

If we buy only exeptional players, were we given Denilson, Ramsey, Gervinho, Giroud, Squilacchi, Cygan, Stapanovs, the list would be endless !

Wenger is now stating that his two priorities are signing deals with existing players & getting the injured players fit. He also mentions signing top quality players...
It isnt simple to sign top notch players, you have to entice their clubs into selling them & pay the goinbg rate in wages.
I want Baines & Fellaini. £17m & £30m, with wages to match, should do the trick. Wake up Wenger, before its too late.

Fellani would only cost £22m cause of his buy out

Why pay 30m for Fellaini when you could activate his 22m release clause

Moyes has said these players are not for sale. Even if they were Everton isnt dumb enough to sell there two best players to a rival premiership club

Forget Zaha, Villa or Nergado!
Welcome Loic Remy! Its almost a done deal.

No iker Casillas or any other keeper.

Yann M'vila is long linked but is NOT close to an arsenal move.

Only positive confirmed news is Walcott's signature.

Lets focus together on the CITY game and not HOPE for big transfers. We're in the Wenger era guys and nothing changes.

Looking at Wengers press conference today, I'd say well sign no1 and just get Walcott to sign.

Walcott not signed yet has he. Loic Remy rumour says Arsenal favs but not according to book makers Newcastle are favs. {Ed002's Note - As of this point in time, Arsenal has not made any approach to Marseille regarding Remy.}

With regard to Walcott, as far as I am aware he has still not signed the new contract - I say give him a deadline and he still does not sign, then sell. No player should be allowed to dictate to the club and if he really wants to stay then he should commit now. This is typical of Arsenal not being pro-active and it will cost us again and again unless something is done.

Remy is pretty average in the french league so would not be a success in the premiership. Also I think a draw is the best we can hope for against city even with their weakened team.

Here we go again. Wenger is apparently saying that we will only buy exceptional players, we will sell first and that our squad is pretty much complete already - seems to me as though the cheque book is going to remain firmly closed yet again! - I sense trouble ahead with the fans starting to turn especially in view of the recent publicity about ticket prices!

Ill be really happy is we got Remy. Really don't want Zaha, i believe he is over-rated, never heard of other guy (same old wenger)

Biglia refused to return to Anderlecht.

Biglia is an Argentine international, he is very good.
