Hear that fellaini has signed a 4 year deal for £22m

Believable93 Unbelievable83

Rubbish

Agree3 Disagree0

Reports are that no transfer's will be completed untill after the 30th of June as key staff including senior medical staff are on holiday. That's probably why the two kids arsenal have reportedly signed have yet to be officially announced.

Agree0 Disagree0

Made up based on a bit of speculation

Agree2 Disagree0

I very much doubt that we will sign fellaini.

Agree3 Disagree2

Martinez still says no to him going and the player is on holiday. Nothing has been signed

He has, just a shame its for united and not us

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't think so but papers reporting that arsene not willing to meet 23m buy out clause. Hope this is not case as think he would be a great signing. Come on arsene start spending for Christ sake and get it done along with other targets so we can hit ground running in August.

Agree2 Disagree0

It isn't going to happen. We are Arsenal supporters through and through and we know that the next month or so will bring nothing. No inspiring signings. No change from Wenger then. Like GG before him, he will not see a player earn more than he does!
Maybe a couple of bright prospects, but no stellar signings. I'm retired, but turn on the Mac. every morning with youthful anticipation for some good news, only to be met with eg. " Arsenal baulk at Fellaini's £23 m release clause". See what I mean? You get what you pay for. Quality players cost. The current Board/ Management can't change their mind-set. No one would be happier than me if they did.

Agree4 Disagree0

I just read on a website, he is scared arsenal will wreck his 'dream' move by not activating the release clause. It also said the clause was £23m and not £22m

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope so.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish it were true. Alas, reports are saying that Wenger thinks the release price is too high! Will this stubborn Frenchman never learn. I can't think of a more suitable player to play the defensive midfield role. Can you imagine Fellaini & Arteta covering the back four & allowing the likes of Wilshere, Cazorla, etc to play their stuff.

Agree1 Disagree0

If the players have signed why would the ataff being on holiday have any affect on it being announced?

Agree0 Disagree0

Same old story - Season ticket renewal time = broken promises!

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't see Arsenal paying £22 or £23 million for a defensive midfielder. Expect an unknown or young lad for that position. If it was a striker maybe but not a defensive midfielder.

Agree1 Disagree0

Daily Mirror story is BS, plain and simple.

This "info" came from someone up north likely associated w/ EFC who knows nothing.

Paper didn't even know the Release-Clause (22m GBP for CL clubs, 24m GBP for Non-CL clubs) so they put 23m to cover themselves.

AFC have spoken with EFC it IS def possible for Fellaini to come although obv not certain.

Agree0 Disagree1

If there are any truth to the rumour, maybe we are pushing feillani to hand in a transfer request or publicly announce he wants to leave. transfer request means he would forfeit his loyalty bonus thus bringing the cost of the transfer down?

Agree0 Disagree0

No Mate it was Fellaini who insisted on that release clause not Everton, so why would he hand in a transfer because it's to high? If Arsenal want him their just have to going to pay the money as there is no way Fellaini will hand in a transfer request and rightly so as there is more than just one club in London.

he won't go to united. it'll be abroad or arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

The source I got this from is an ex football agent. He is 110% adamant that this has happened.

London evening standard are reporting 5 clubs trying to buy Bentner (52) after the club has agreed to accept for him. Maybe he has woken up from his daydream thinking he is the worlds best. that's another 52k off the wage bill. Who's next to go. that's about 230-240k off the wage bill. km

Believable66 Unbelievable10

Yeah, 5 clubs are fighting for him and every one is saying: "You take him!":P

Sorry was supposed to say 3m

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky reporting that Arsenal are prepared to accept any offer of £3m.
Fenerbahe and Borussia M-G are 2.

Never said he was the Best Player. sick of people who actually give him abuse for that. Someone asked him, what are your dreams as a footballer 'to be the best in the world'. Cop he's still a Gooner and warrants respect.

Lars Bender currently has a 12m buy out clause, Arsenal are working on bringing him in as a possible replacement for Coquelin.

Arsene Wenger met Higuain's Father twice, a week before the Newcastle game and later in Paris on Sunday. A deal looks to be all but done and we are offering a better package for the player than Juventus. Once Madrid appoint a manager the deal should go through.

Bendtner is close to completing a deal with German club Borussia Mochengladbach. (BILD) bild are reliable they first broke poldi to us months before anyone else

Believable66 Unbelievable25

If the £12M clause is true that would be a great signing added to Higuain would be more than happy

Agree1 Disagree0

We may get higuain and arsene might get lars bender. I hope we get them

Agree0 Disagree0

Bild aren't reliable they are the German equivalent to the sun

Agree0 Disagree0

Bild Zeitung is even worst than The Sun.

Agree0 Disagree0

They gave us Podolski before anyone else

Agree0 Disagree0

Two signings I can say are in progress Fellani and Higuain. Cesar will be completed after International duty.

Bender is a quality player, I can't help but feel that if he had a buyout/release clause of just 12m then he'd have been snaffled up long ago. Be amazed if BL demand less than 20m for him.

Agree2 Disagree0

These are the 3 signings I really want. Fingers crossed!

Agree0 Disagree1

He is young and excelled well recently only.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bild is pushing a couple of stories daily, some of them turn out to be true, but I would not call them reliable at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Lars better than Sven - Lars has more Germany caps but Sven has had a more prominent club career so far with Dortmund?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bild reliable? I guess that's coming from a Sun reader.

Arsenal in talks with phil jagielka to bolster their defensive options. Martinez has made it clear the jagielka is not irreplaceable as he looks to resign defender alcaraz.

Smart bit of dealing from arsene here I think

Believable9 Unbelievable63

Rubbish mate Martinez has actually come out and said Jagielka will be his captain for next season he wouldn't say that if he was going to sell him.

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope so, He should have been signed at least three seasons ago!

Churchill Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like that an experienced Englishman, though not accomplished in trophies, definitely a top class defender.

A lot like us I suppose, we are a top class club, not that accomplished recently with the silverware.

Agree0 Disagree0

You ain't go hope just been made captain, manager just left we wouldn't meet Evertons valuation couple years back that's why we brought mertesacker so why would we meet it now?

Agree0 Disagree0

All three of our CBs are better than Jagielka

If we bring in a cb, he had better be better than all our others minus Kos, who as of this right now is as good as any cb out there

Agree0 Disagree1

No chance

Arsene not going to pay 10-12 million quid for a 4th choice defender

Agree0 Disagree0

Cobblers.

El Shaarawy of AC Milan may be leaving his club this summer should there be enough interest according to the Milan president.

I don't think we will sign him, he seems to be a player who would rather play his football in Italy or a club renowned for its wealth (I know we have money to spend, but obviously we are not known for it like the Mancs or PSG are for example!)

He would be a nice addition however.

ASEG.

According to tv Arsenal are intersted in Benficas' Full Back Lorenzo Melgarejo for 5m according to his agent.
AndyLat

Believable34 Unbelievable26

Don't believe everything you hear. I can see this being nothing more than media speculation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pointless! we probably were last season or something. we got gibbs & monreal! why would we want a 3rd left back unless TV is off

Agree0 Disagree0

Agent hype. Trying to get clubs interested by using AFC.

We would not be interested in yet another LB when we're still offloading Santos and have Nacho/Gibbs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why, he plays LB when we already have nacho cheese and gibbo

Agree0 Disagree0

Agent talk. He is a left back and we got two very good ones already. (and one not so good)

Aros.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've seen that. What's that about, he's a left back! One thing we don't need is one of those. Unless he's thinking of getting rid of Gibbs because of his injury problems? I don't see it though. As left backs go he's not that brilliant either! The new Andre Santos? Maybe Wenger thinks he has potential to play in another position?

Chimney sweep Josh

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard this too

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah tv have reported it too.

Agree0 Disagree1

He's originally a left winger converted to fullback by jorge jesus, like coentrao. Wenger might try to put him back there if the interest is genuine

Any interest in Dzagoev? looked good in the Eurocup.

Believable6 Unbelievable51

There was after the euros last year mate but I think we've stopped looking at him now
