I have heard from a source in Germany that we are close to agreeing a 14million deal for Dortmund Centre back Subotic, have you heard anything about this ed?
Scotsgooner {Ed027's Note - No mate, Barca have watched him and Hummels

If this is true he is a quality player and would be a solid player for us. We'll shall see

Maybe its true. If recent history serves me correctly, some eds said Arsenal are very interested in signing Amorebieta. Trust me if we wanted him we would've got him, simple as that, so I entertain the idea that we were never interested.

Therefore, rumours about any other CB could be possible, until they sign for a said club. I do know for a fact Arsenal were looking at subotic a year or two ago, interest also included chelsea if I am not mistaken.

BTW any acquisition as a CB will either improve the quality we have or will be better than the quality we have in the future.

Subotic is not likely to go anywhere unless he's assured that he'll start the season as first choice. That doesn't sound like something Wenger would do.

I also think Barca are going to pick one of the two up first and then the other won't be be able to get out as Klopp tries to stabilize his side for next season.

DAILY STAR reporting we are going to test Manchester United resolve over rooney. do we really want him.

Believable31 Unbelievable99

Even if we do want him it'll never happen. Would cost far too much and that's not even starting on the wages.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes please. He's prolific when played up front and is versatile enough to work fantastic in our front 3 that moves around a lot. He's also amazing at coming deep and passing the ball. We could do with this kind of drive and determination in the attack. Perfect for wilshere too!

Agree2 Disagree0

Unless he is willing to take a massive pay cut, and I mean massive, This will not happen. Rooney seems to be in the driver's seat regarding how much his salary should be. It showed the last time he tried to transfer out and he got a pay rise for it.

Who will pay his 250k/week wage then? Arsenal simply cannot afford him

Agree0 Disagree0

£20m+ on a trouble causing, overweight and overpaid granny sh*gger. no thanks!

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't judge us buying him on your personal issues with him. Do you know many players cheat on their partners in football, in life. The facts are he played up front and scored 30+ goals what striker in our squad now is going to score that for us. The fact is he has great technical ability can score outside the box and on his day is near unstoppable.

He needs a new team, a new project to commit to and give his all and he has passion, Wilshere like passion for Football.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't get me wrong I would love him here! Maybe with his passion he may take a pay cut. But as I said can't see it

@ D16

My comment was more in response to the person who commented above me.

Josh09

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll be a Chelsea player within 4 weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we do. Rooney is a beast! I would rather have him playing for us rather than against us

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's going to pay his massive salary.

Agree0 Disagree0

God no, it is a bad joke. We're supposed to be upgrading the striking department this summer.

Hi Eds,

Thank you for keeping us posted for so long on the transfer rumors and transfer news. Some time ago, one of you mentioned that there is Arsenal interest in Andre Ayew. Are you aware of any news on that rumor?

Keep it up! Cheers,
KK {Ed029's Note - That is a question that has to be asked of Ed02. I can't help you mate.}

Arsenal turned down a 17.5 million pound offer from bayern munich yesterday for koscielny.

Believable99 Unbelievable60

I can't imagine arsenal turning down such a huge offer.

Agree2 Disagree0

Shocking. Knowing the board I thought the bags would be desperate to cash in and make themselves a little richer

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we are - just waiting for a higher offer

Agree0 Disagree0

Why sell. Per and Kon are the partnership to build on

MB

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard to know what to think of this - we've valued him at 23.5m Euros and he's got 4 years left on his deal. Can't imagine why we'd sell him. What is the point of developing players for 3 seasons til they finally show what Wenger thought they might one day, and then sell to a stronger team. This needs to stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't be sold this summer. Cast Iron guarantee.

Ross

Agree0 Disagree0

If Kos is good enough that Barca and Bayern are interested, there is no reason we should sell. If we do, it should only be for an extortionate price.

I've rated Kos for a couple seasons now and he is part of the team's backbone

Agree0 Disagree0

Bayern barely have room for another defender. They'll probably let go of Van Buyten over the summer, but I'm sure Pep sees Javi Martinez as an option at CB and he's never shown an appetite for overstocking defenders before. It's more likely that he tries to poach Wilshere over the summer to begin his inexorable stockpiling of small, classy midfielders.

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be a great deal for koscielny
