Yeah I agree Ben I would say that now out of the four its gotta be Djourou.
Still though if i was A.W i wouldn't have got Squillaci and would have signed a world class CB in the summer. I dnt get his reasoning sometimes although i think Squillaci is quite decent, quitely effective.
I personally would like to see Tasci, Subotic or Sakho mate if he does have to sign a C.B it has to be of that calibre. English C.B are over-priced IMO. Maybe Hazard as well in the summer if either Rosicky or Arshavin decide to leave.
And maybe a defensive midfielder because Song plays way too many games with no clear cover.
But i doubt A.W will do all of this hes way too shrude/tentative with his signings man.

Eman, I strongly feel djourou has to go. He is young, and is half decent, but never will he be world class. We should not sign Cahill, he is over-rated. Would love Jagielka to join.
Who do you think we should sign in Jan and in the summer Eman?

Arsene Wenger has said cover may be needed should Vermaeln's injury continue. This could mean someone like Mexes could be purchased for a cut price since his contract expires in the summer. Another possibility is Afellay for the same reason.

For some reason there has been a lot of transfer rumours around the stadium on matchdays. I know a couple of people that are on the Arsenal staff. They all claim that Wenger isn't to impressed with Koscienly so far this year. Iv heard that Cahill could be signed in January. Also there is a rumour about Daniel Agger joining Arsenal as he isn't getting much football with Liverpool.
In midfield I can't see there being much activity in the central areas. Though there is a lot of rumours about Honda in January.
Upfront the Benzema rumour is picking up pace though I can't see Wenger signing him. Would be a good one though.
In between the posts I think its a certainty that Almunias days are numbered. Not sure that Arsene will sign another keeper especially if Szczensy signs a new contract. Personally I would like to see Reina or an experienced keeper come in. To be fair though Fabianski has been doing great and Szczensy played well against Newcastle.

ok yes ill agree with you on benzema could see it happening
but reina, honda, cahill no chance wenger had alot of faith in Safehandski and szcnechy so no new keeper
weve got so many midfilders that's why he said no to re signing pires and no cnahce of another cb even with vermelean injured with Djourou, Kosiclney and Squallaci playing very well and with Song as another back up centre back were coverd there
but upfront well Chamakh, Van Persie are exceptional players for us but with VP being injury prone and Vela and Bendtner not really doing alot for us Benzema would be welcomed with opne arms by most Arsenal fans
i can see us winning at least 1 trophy this year if not 2 or 3 :D

Arsenal bring forward Wellington plans after Fluminense row
The 'Young Guns' website reports the 17 year-old isn't due to officially become an Arsenal player until the New Year, but is now in London training with the club.
The Gunners moved to bring forward their plans for Wellington after he fell out with Fluminense management back home in Brazil last month.
Wellington is expected to play out the second-half of the season with the reserves and will also be eligible for the FA Youth Cup.

A young brazilian by the name of Wellington da silva to start playing for Arsenal in January, he was signed a year ago but is only 17. He did join in some pre-season and youth games during the summer. He plays on the wing/attack so his arival may spell the end of Vela's time at Arsenal.

The fact that when Vermaelen and Koscienly were out and we still were able to play Djourou and Squillaci shows strength in depth. Its not likely for both our 1st choice CB to be out. Ill ask you something what happens if we sign a top class CB and Vermaelen recovers. One CB won't even be on the bench which is a waste of money. If you look at the top teams they usually have 2 world class Cb and 2 ok cover players.
We may have strength in depth but your right that we need 1 more Cb not in addition but more as a replacement i feel. We only have 1 world class CB and 3 ok ones IMO. 5 fully fit CB for 2 positions doesn't make sense
So whose gotta go? ?
