Stuart as much as i would like this to happen i doubt it. Im not saying definatly not gonna happen but i feel its more hope on my part. How reliable would you say it is. Just don't understand why Juventus would want to downgrade. I assume the player is benzema ?

There are a couple of big deals waiting to be finalised.
I met a member of the coaching staff and he reckoned that Gael Clichy was as good as gone, with Juventus he's likely destination, we in turn are after Chellini & Giovinci. As Juve STILL owe us money for Vieira, a swap and cash adjustment could be on the cards.
Another big bid for Pepe Riena is also expected to be accepted this time around.
There was no mention of Hazard, Benzema, Cahill or any of the others on peoples wish lists/in the media.
The other big deal/s involves RVP going to Real, Inter or Barca. Once that is sorted, Arsene's will go for a player currently playing at one of the big 2 in Spain, who has lost his way a bit. You have to take this on faith, it would a signing of Bergkamp/Henry - esq stature.

Even arsene admits we need a defender, so expect to see either cahill or samba joining us this january. Jagielka will not leave everton that's for sure. Not sure with the Connor wickham stories, yes arsene has his eyes on him but i think he will wait for him to mature first. Also remember we have that Japanese teenager coming in so fingers crossed he is good. But don't expect anymore strikers as I believe we can deal with bendtner and van persie rotating them with one upfront. And no more midfielders, ramsey is back so that is like a new signing in itself. As for outs, I hope bendtner and eboue to leave. I think arshavin will stay and fight for his place and denilson just needs to mature like wilshere. I think almunia is definitly out so good luck to him! And for the summer hopefully Eden hazard joins us! !

What Arsenal need is a classy center back like vermaelen some who has experiance and is actually a lot better than koscienly and squillachi
we need one or two of these defenders

if we don't get a least one of these players in then our trophy drought will continue
