Arsenal are apprently in for ganso, he is quality but brazilians don't really hack the PL

Believable12 Unbelievable13

Dont palm off all brazillians because very few have actually played here, the number of unsuccessful players will always faw outweigh the successful in any nationality, its just less brazillians have actually played in the prem {Ed027's Note - very true, its a myth

Agree0 Disagree0

Gilberto, Silvinho, Edu and Juninho did alright. Rafael is okay and Robinho was good when he wanted to be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see it happening due to 3rd part ownership

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed, the rumours a myth or the brazilian success rate? {Ed002's Note - See other answers about Ganso.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Gilberto Silva {Ed002's Note - Alex, Deco, Ramires, ...}

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be nice but fairly unlikely. Most south americans go to europe first generally because of language and work permit reasons.
Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

We got rid of gilberto silva far to soon,he had at least 2 more seasons in him,he was a TOP player for us!
tony soprano

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok what about gilberto who was great for us and edu who was a good player for us aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Juninho (boro) gilberto silva they were pretty good

Agree0 Disagree0

So Gilberto was a flop? Edu? Silvinho? Juninho? They were all great players! just off the top of my head.
Ed can you think of anymore?

Deano {Ed002's Note - Deco, Ramires, Alex.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your letting Denilson cloud your judgment regarding Brazilions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal to bid for Kevin Gameiro after PSG allow him to leave after confirming the capture of Zlatan, it is reported he will be available for 8million.

CL

Believable17 Unbelievable18

I would love to have him, Wenger was interested him before his move to PSG but was outbidded by the frenchmen. One of the best finishers in europe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Gaimero Off to Valencia?

D

Agree0 Disagree0

If RVP does go then this guy is the ideal replacement. He would be immense. But after years of wanting Arsenal to purchase certain players, and never coming to fruition, I have my doubts. I hope this will be a first.

A friend of mine works for a major media company - can't remember the name, but they own a few major newspapers and he told me tonight that his mate in the sports department told him that Arsenal are considering a bid for Schalkes Jose Jurado. Could be rubbish but that's what he said.
Lee

Believable8 Unbelievable28

Could be?

JW

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats some major news

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was a major company
you wouldnt of "forgotten" the name

gimmeg6

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds bs to me if he works for a major media company you would know the name, any way he wouldnt be able to tell any one for certain reasons

Agree0 Disagree0

Major media company but cant remember name
hmmm i wonder why

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason I couldn't remember the name is cos I had been down the pub for most of the night last night, but the company is called Associated Newspapers. Like I said its probably crap like most of the other drivel doing the rounds, but my mate was definitely told this by another bloke at work.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just saw a pic of this player. looks a bit like Cesc!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your "friend" works for a major media company!! the name of which you can't remember... FFS when you make this crap up, please put in a little effort..

Barcelona's Afellay offered to Arsenal & Inter in approx 6M euro.

Wenger should go for him. He is a real talent. Even RVP may be convinced with this signing.

Believable35 Unbelievable9

Well I hope we're not signing players to convince RVP to stay, but 6 million is a good deal if he is over the injuries.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope Rvp leaves guy is showing no loyalty to a club that's stuck by him through his injury plagued arsenal career and when he finally has a season without injury problems he's looking for greener pastures hope he moves on and gets injured again and again and lets see if any other club will stick by him like arsenal have

Agree0 Disagree0

This is not ur rumour, ur just repeating what's been on all web sites all day! Dublin Gunner!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant see anywhere above where he stated thats his rumour, god old Dublin Gunner,a it hypocritical slating others when all you do is readoffNews Now feeds....Seen Hazardsigned for CHelsea months ago, good call on that, not

Arsenal have began to unofficially approach Tony Jantschke, feeling he will be more willing to move to the london based club with the 3 other German additions added in the last 2 years. He's yet to be called up to the national team but apparently Wenger sees him having huge potential in the future. With Diaby still unfit Jantschke's ability to fit into any central midfield position is seen as a huge plus.. and due to his inexperience is less likely to demand a first team starting place as part of his move. With Borussia Monchengladbach in a relatively poor financial situation a bid of £5million or more is likely to make them contemplate selling the young German. Making him a far cheaper alternative to M'vila, at a similar age

Believable8 Unbelievable16

Jantschke is predominantly a RB.

Usmanov and Dein > Kroenke and Gazidis - StEvE

Agree0 Disagree0

Unhealthy?

Just sold Reus for 17m

They got into Europe, and made a £12m offer for Luuk De Jong.

There's nothing unhealthy with their finances.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep he is a right back, why do you people just make up all this sh**e

Agree0 Disagree0

This broke team your on about "QPR have lost out to Borussia Monchengladback in the race for Blackburn's Junior Hoilett. " god some people would make you laugh with their lack of football knowledge

Arsenal to bid for Clint Dempsey early next week.

#BelieveMeIfYouWish

NW

Believable12 Unbelievable34

Why do you keep posting? Nobody believes anything you put on here.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it will be a similar situation to the opportunity we had with Scott Parker. Wenger will not go for players he thinks are not technically profficient enough.

In Arsene I Trust.

I said 2 weeks ago that Brighton are interested in Miquel on loan, looks like they are all set to sign him as early as the end of this week. COYG

Believable23 Unbelievable9

Maybe sign off your posts so people can give you credit?

Ben X.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope this is true, looks a good player from what we saw of him last season. Versatile and comfortbale on the ball.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a bit worried because surprisingly Miquel got quite a bit of game time. What if we again have an injury crisis (which we seem to have every season)?

In Arsene I Trust.

M'Vila to have medical next Monday when back from holiday. Everything still in place. Those "quotes" saying the deal was dead were fake

NW

Believable16 Unbelievable35

Oh was that announced today AM ? :-D

Agree0 Disagree0

And you dare post again after the "BIG NEWS" this morning. Malaga groomers everywhere at the moment ruining this once credible page. wastemans

I cant wait for m'vila

Come on mate give up or tell us how u know this ps think negredo is the Spanish secret who will sign if van leaves 18 mil

Yann M'vila will sign for Arsenal next Monday. Fee of 17 million and personal terms agreed. Medical next Monday after his holiday.

Believable33 Unbelievable28

No he won't. trust me.
FISH N CHIPS

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is what is the big secret, tell the supporters and stop keeping us in the dark all the time,no other club seems to do it the way we do.......makes ya so f...ing mad at times...

FISH N CHIPS should not even be on this site as he previously promise he would not if his prediction did not happen today.

I want to believe this but I'm not getting my hopes up.

What has happened to the site I loved so well?
What used to be informative lighthearted, sometimes bang on, rumours has now turned into daily nonsense like the felka claiming there would be big news this morning ar Arsenal..then you have the clowns recycling what theyv read from other sites like their in the know...really why would you bother?
There are great eds on here and its a shame they have to syphon through this garbage, and even respond!
If you have an inside line, share what you can without overly exposing your source, if not keep your attention seeking mouth shut.
I can tell you there will be no deal for Rondon, or Lloris or Cazorla or any other of the outlandish names being banded about.
Afobe will join birmingham on loan, Chamack, Arsha and Vela will leave but Bentdner will not be sold unless the price is right.
Bartley will be promoted and Djourou will stay..no CB will be signed.
The Spanish player we are in for is Fernando Torres. Abramovich is like a child in a sweetshop after CL glory and wants more Glamour forward signings..Torres hasnt fulfilled the owners expectations and Wenger is a huge admirer and will get his man.
Mvilla will not be an Arsenal player, deal was off before Euros.
I cant honeslty say if we will sign a player for this role as Iv heard Wenger still rates Diaby highly and has seen him play well for France in a deep role...lets hope this isnt the case.
So, what have I told you?
Rvp out, Walcotts up in the air but may well leave.
Torres in.
This is credible.....so obviously wont be posted.
S-bo

Believable11 Unbelievable20

How do you know

Agree0 Disagree0

You just complained about people making ridiculous claims and then sit there and say Fernando Torres will sign?
JoshA

Agree0 Disagree0

What about torres' wages?
don't see this happening but would be massive at arsenal.

BgdGooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres to arsenal is never going to happen mate we aint aying more than 15 million for him ,

Agree0 Disagree0

How do we know this is anymore credibal than the rest of the posts that u mention?

Agree0 Disagree0

You take time out to criticise people on here, then come up with twaddle of your own! I highly doubt we'll be signing Torres (of all people!) I do still think we'll be signing M'Vila. My gut is telling me we will sell Bendtner, Vela, and RvP. Chamakh may stay and Walcot will be given a shot up front, possibly in a partnership with Giroud.

Slick Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres, so abramovich buys a player for 50 mill and sells a year later at a price for wenger to purchase haha! Never will happen. Absolute nonsense and you talk about credible posts. This is rob ably the worst yet

Agree0 Disagree0

Above post by Ben gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't slate people, then Post a completely unfounded rumour.

We won't sign Torres because his wages are around £170k a week.

THAT'S credible.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this meant to be a joke? No chance Torres will sign, he is just looking credible towards last season and did well for Spain, so won't be sold in this transfer window.

Elliott

Agree0 Disagree0

Your saying everyone else is coming out with bullsh*t yet you say were gonna sign torres keep dreaming mate

goonerluke

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually agreed and enjoyed this post. The Torres thing is a bit far-fetched but would absolutely love it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to be fair to you as in your post you say about giving your source. So whats your source? Its a rather brash rumour without a credible source!

Agree0 Disagree0

The top half of this post is bang on, the bottom half... well it's as debateable as everything else that appears on here these days. Personally I'd like to see Torres at Arsenal.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres would be a huge signing if true. Imagine El Nino supporting Giroud from the left (a la Henry) with Poldi playing as a No.10. The midfield three (Song, Wilshere, Ox) skewered more to the right cause Santos has shown a preference for playing inside left midfield from his 'false No.3' starting position. Sagna providing natural width down the right, interplaying with the Ox. Kos & Verm sweeping up everything that comes through. Sir Ches patrolling his area like a proper North London Gangsta in his pink kit. The Quadruple is back on!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly the most ridiculous post I've ever seen on this site and very hypocritical crazy crazy rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

I was going to click on agree untill u start on about Torres. Your just as bad as every other clown that post on this site. There are a few peole in the know, bur there is to many wasters wrecking this site for others.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some ones tired. You talk about incredible people when you're no better! Wenger to sign Torres? Firstly we couldnt afford his wages and secondly why would we want him. I think you need to shut ya pipe buddy and stop being so rude. Muppet

Ed, just interested in your last comment, I thought it was basically understood, although not officially announced that the M'vila deal is off. Your thoughts? {Ed001's Note - I honestly don't know mate, but I have not heard any solid sources stating the move is off. I would have expected a move to be made for someone else if it has fallen through, as I have not heard anything solid about that either, I am assuming that the move has not yet fallen through. The problem is that, in this day and age, people panic when there is nothing new every moment, they assume it has all gone wrong. Sometimes it just means that it is all going well when there is no news regarding something. So my opinion is that M'Vila probably didn't want to deal with it during the Euros, then has gone on holiday and it will be sorted out when he gets back.}

Believable19 Unbelievable10

Ed001, probably the best Ed in the world

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jul 2012 10:43:23
Ed001, haven't seen you around the Arsenal page in a while. Just wondered if you could give us an update on anything you've heard regarding potential Arsenal ins/outs?

Cheers,

G95 {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard anything new regarding Arsenal, that's why I haven't been about. I really expected M'Vila to be done by now, I really expected something to leak out from his 'people' one way or another. Though that might just be because there are no issues and they are just waiting for the right moment to reveal the done deal. After all, the player is on holiday at the moment, so there is no rush.}

Believable19 Unbelievable11

Hi ed what is the truth about y'villa is he really coming everything iv read so far says he aint coming that the deal is off? {Ed001's Note - like I said, I don't know what has happened, I have literally heard nothing new. Usually that is because it is just taking time, otherwise you usually get a leak about any issues, so I think most of the rumours regarding him not coming are just from people assuming as the deal is taking so long. It is more likely that he just wanted to go on holiday after the Euros before sorting out his future.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed001 I really hope you're right. I think M'Vila will be our next Vieira. {Ed001's Note - I really can't see Wenger letting this one slip, it is certainly not taking as long as Podolski!}

About as much chance as messi and ronaldo

Agree0 Disagree0

Has harry potter got his magic contract?

Agree0 Disagree0

Javi Martinez has extended his contract

Snowy

Agree0 Disagree0

Its unlikely that affelay will sign just because that he has started playing well for country, plus he has just come back from injury

Ibrahim Affelay has been told he can leave Barcelona and his agent has offered his services to both Arsenal and inter Milan.

A few of €6m is thought enough to take him from the camp nou.

Believable34 Unbelievable12

Why would we buy someone else's "rejected as not being good enough" players ? I look at what the Spuds appear to be achieving in the transfer market and at the prices they are paying and wonder what is going on at Arsenal. Just wondering will moves be made for Biglia after the Anderlecht friendly tomorrow

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be worth a gamble for that price and may persuade RVP to re-sign.

JoshA

Agree0 Disagree0

First poster is obviously a Spud. They've achieved f*** all this window apart from signing 2 of our rejects.

Ben X.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he might be a good addition, and have backed the club with the way they have dealt with transfers. But it also gets right on my threpneys that the spuds seem to be much more direct and definite in the market. Think it's time now for the club to give the fans something to smile about.
