Do you think Khedira would be interested in.a move to us ed, I think he'd be ideal and would settle ozil down, I know you don't talk figures, but is they're a chance of this happening.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know what he thinks but there is certainly interest from Arsenal.}

Judging from what players and managers have said about him in interviews Kheidra seems like type of guy who gets on with everyone and would have no problem fitting in at the club!

I completely agree, and he is very good friends with ozil, and now that we have signed the Medical specialist from.the German team.I have, a really good feeling about this season, forget Mourinho and Fabregas, we Have Arsene Wenger, he knows what he is doing, trust me.

Agree1 Disagree0

Did the Germany manager say he'd still have taken Kheidra in his squad if he was injured? Purely because of what an important player he is to that squad, the man's a leader and we could definetly do with a couple of them!

Would love Khedira, the mans a beast of a player and also one of the most likeable guys going

It could be me but with the hyper new sums of money flowing into to the premiership, and the mega bucks that are always available to Bayern, Real, Paris St Germain, and Barcelona I think we are going to see some hyper signings this year. Chelski have already gone big and between January and now already massively strengthened their squad. It's impossible to believe United won't spend even bigger.

If you think Barcelona and Real despite their debts won't also move big following losing out to Atletico it would seem pretty naive. City reeling from the slap over the wrists over the fair play real will probably only spend £100m this summer.

So where does that leave us? Well not competing for most of the names so many speculate and salivate over e.g Sanchez will stay at Barcelona, Martinez will stay at Bayern, Pogba will stay at Juve or if he did leave would go to Real, United or Paris St Germain, Mangala will be off to City, Cesc has already gone to Chelski, if Draxler leaves (and I suspect he won't) it will be to Bayern, Mandzukic will either stay at Bayern or take a trip to one of the top sides not us, and so on.

So while United go for Shaw, Carvalho, Griezman, Vidal, Reus, Robben, Kroos, Hummels, and Strootman etc.

I suspect our list is rather more unimpressive. At a guess -

Kedira - oh god I hope not £30m plus for a decent but not massively impressive player.

Aurier - seems like a good player and a decent replacement for Sagna, and seems like it's close to a done deal.

Vela - seems nuts not to activate the buy back clause given his success and current value, but the concern of course is he's already failed once.

Morata - over valued at £20m plus and if at that age he was such a certain success Chelski would be there before us, and Real wouldn't sell.

Benzema - not sure I still see Real selling and see the concerns about Morata.

Schneiderlin - good player but not in the same class as Carvalho who would change the whole dynamic and certainly no Gilberto or Vieira.

Bender - better than Schneiderlin (who I repeat is a good player) - and of all the players that might come seems the best hope to really make a difference.

Remy - a good player but not a great player, a good squad addition but he somehow has never become quite the player he was / is meant to be.

At a guess Remy - £10m, Aurier - £8m, Schneiderlin - £15m, Vela - £5m, Marshall £8m, and Morata £22m. Total £68m.

A better squad but nothing that moves us from a fourth place side. United will sign bigger and better and seem obvious to bounce back, Chelski have already signed bigger and better, City already have better and will sign better, and bloody Liverpool have Suarez. Our best hope for a top four finish then would be SUarez going to Real.

Our squad would be good but not great. Me? I'd love us to pull out the stops and sign Carvalho and Mangala, I'd take the risk that Remy and Vela at bargain prices would with a fit Theo would with Giroud be more than strong enough up front.

Oh well we will see.

I disagree. Remy would offer much better cover for Giroud, Schneiderlin is better than Flamini & Arteta and you will not be signing Morata and Remy, its one or the other. Vela is not coming back, even with clauses the player has to agree and he is not even intrested.
Benzema is staying at Madrid and they are looking for a Striker to replace Morata. Suarez will be staying at liverpool for atleast one more season. Also are you serious putting United in the equation saying they will sign this and that when 95% of their top targets have already come out and said "Not interested" or signed a new deal. I promise you they will have a very bad window. Robben, Muller, Kroos, Fabregas, Vidal, Pogba, Sanchez have all rejected them in some way or the other so they have to offer a 18 year old left back 150 000 £ a week to even make him interested and I have a gut feeling Chelsea will pull off a scoop soon, Bertrand + 23 million £ and he is a Chelsea player. They have to move on van Aanholt and a couple of "superstars" first like Oscar and maybe Ramires.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think you are a bit naive to think that half the player you mentioned will go to United. Mangala to City. He wants to go to United. Bender won't come, Benzema either and let's not talk about Draxler.

Agree1 Disagree0

From a statistical point of view Morita is a no brainer. Easily the best young striker in world football right now (from a statistical point of view) and his potential is sky high.

I think unless we get Benzema or Di Maria I'm not sure who we're going to add who will improve us.
