No one good or worth keeping is leaving this summer except for Fabregas, who could very well stay as his value is low right now.
Not sure Fabregas would want to leave after such a disappointing season, with such low respect around the Emirates. He'd have left no legacy here. Hopefully something like that matters to him. Not sure it does, so he MIGHT go.
All we need is one versatile class defender and one pure finisher. Other than that, lets trim the fat, promote class from within, which we have, and move on.
Those of you who continue to rip our midfield, give it a rest. They were injured, it sucks, it happened, move on. If healthy next season, our squad will be awesome. Just you watch.
The only "marquis signing" other than for need, will be Hazard. He will come, you can write that down. Wenger said he'd make it happen, and that he'd leave it alone the rest of the season and let Hazard focus on Lille and the title. Hazard said he was focused on Lille as well, but spoke of Arsenal before his silence. Since then, he's been focused.
This deal is done folks. We got our marquis signing. And striker and def replacement will be world class as well. We have enough talented youth. Now we're fiscally healthy as well.

Benzema will not be signed. Juventus had a £26m bid turned down, noway Wenger will compete with that. I hope to god that Gameiro does NOT sign. too short, will be bullied by the likes of Stoke, Bolton, Blackburn, Utd. Dont want the other Lorient guy either. i reckon the following is a plausible list of transfer targets:
GK: Given (but i don't think we need a keeper)
RB: none
CB: Cahill, Jagielka, Sakho, Vertonghen Chiellini, Tasci
LB: move Vermaelen to LB and sell Clichy, otherwise Baines.
DCM: Vertonghen, Melo, M'Vila, Parker
AM: Gourcuff, Sneijder, Schweinsteiger
WING: Hazard, Cazorla, A. Johnson, A. Young
CF: Falcao, Hulk, Podolski, Llorente.
i'd personally try to sign: Cahill, Parker, Podolski and Hazard.

Benzema will not happen. NO WAY we'll pay that for him. Elia isn't at all impressive so don't want him. Would rather spend 40000 a week on Michael Owen, Bring in Scott Sinclair and Daniel Sturridge, Ashley Young and Phil Jones, jack Rodwell Give the team a british core and we'll improve immensely.

RVP as the playmaker with Nasri and Arsh competing for that spot when he gets injured. I know Arshavin isn't popular anaymore but he's got the experience and I think he'd step it up if he was in a really competitive, winning side.
It will never happen I know, but if I was Arsene Wenger that's the team I'd try to build. I know it's a lot of money but the cash for Benzema/ M'Vila/ Cahill could easily be funded by Fabregas, Chamakh, Bendter and what we already have. The team would have strength in depth with Ramsey, Song, Djourou, Koscielny, Arshavin etc . . and those guys would all play loads cos this christmas showed us that rotation is so important. The only other player I'd want is Baines cos he's a little no nonsense terrier like Nigel Winterburn but I'm a big fan of Gibbs and I think if we gave Clichy a kick up the asss he'd be the player he was a few years ago. Left back is not as big a problem for us as the press want us to think.
Anyways I don't think I need to justify those players, they've all got the physical presence for the Prem and they'd improve our spine ten fold. M'Vila is a rock and Benz would bang in the goals if he played as the main man regularly.
And lets face it, those players would all want to come to us. Stop being stupid Wenger/ board.

Wenger is going nowhere, so until next May when it will be apparent if we have won the league or a cup i wouldn't bother worrying about next managers. Wenger deserves this next season.
The summer spending will depend on Man City and Liverpool, both will be spending a fortune and going for very similar players so pirices will rise and Wenger and the board rightly won't sanction paying 30M for a 12M player (milner, Carroll, Ade, Toure). So expect a difficult summer. Targets coming and going and lots of frustrations as our negoiators couldnt close a book let alone a transfer deal. Please don't let Cesc situation run on all summer either sell him or complain to fifa about Barcelona tapping him up constantly.
Pat Rice won't retire. He is under no pressure and Wenger or of ill health as far as i know and Wenger won't sack him.
I have no idea who'll we'll sell or buy anymore, i know who i'd love, but after listening to rumours and talkings of people close to club and constant disappointment lets just jump on board the summer rollercoaster

I believe wenger will try and recreate the invincibles, i think he sees szczesny as perfect replacement for the then great goalkeeper jens lehmann, sagna will keep his place. Sakho to come in, he is tall and a leader just like sol campbell. vermaelen to keep his place. clichy will either stay or be replaced with leighton baines, baines being ideal as like ashley cole he can also defend. on the left being nasri, on the right will be eden hazard, he is creative and fast just like ljunberg. in the centre will be wilsher and melo, melo being very similar to gilberto silva, and even though wilshere doesn't play like vieira he can still provide the much needed structure and productivity along side melo, who will be the battler in the middle. up front, van persie and walcott, van persie being bergkamps prodigy and wenger now believes walcott can play along side him in a role similar to henry, even though he might not have the finishing qualities yet.

Hey 1st time poster on here , although i have used the site for a while . Personally over the summer I would like to see. Out - Almunia, Eboue, Squilaci , Denilson, Rosicky , Bendtner, In - back up RB ( only if Eboue leaves ) a CB with PL experience Cahill/ Jagielka/ Samba, A holding midfielder as back up for Song or to play along. .side some games not sure who. Parker would be good although I think he will end up at Spurs or Liverpool. A top striker as RVP can't stay fit for a whole season.( Trouble is they cost alot of money, we've been linked with Benzema although not sure if Wenger would splash 20 million at least on him, more likely to end up with a lesser known player who is cheaper ) Realistically I don't think Wenger will get rid of all those players, although he should and he probally won't sign more than 3 players (CB, Holding mid and striker) , anymore than that would be only if other players left such as Fabregas, Clichy and maybe Arshavin. If the last 3 I said did Leave I think Nasri would end up taking the Fabregas role with a winger coming in to take Nasri's role out wide. If Clichy goes then I'd replace him with Baines. Don't think there would be more midfield signings even if on top of that Arshavin left aswell as we already have many midfielders and Ramsey is now playing again , plus Lansbury and frimpong might join the 1st team squad. They won't all happen although it's needed more likely 4 or5 that I said leaving. and just a few signings with anymore depending on anymore departures that I mentioned.

Rosicky (4m.) (unlikely because he is best mate with Cesc, and Wenger wants to keep the captain happy)
REALISTIC TOTAL: 31M.

One between Parker / Alou Diarra / Melo / Inler (7m.-14m.)
Baines (15m.) (just if Clichy goes, because Gibbs is too injury prone and therefore not reliable).
One between Hazard / Mata / Willian / Marin / Gervinho (15m. - 20m.)
Possibly a striker like Gameiro or someone simililar (10m.) just if Walcott isn't moved to the front role as Wenger has always said he will end up, and if Valencia doesn't sign him first, Benzema is very unlikely.
No Goalie will be signed, despite of injuries Mannone had a great loan at Hull, and Szcszesny is becoming great, along with the error prone Fabianski who will be 3rd choice.
No defender will be bought unless Vermaelen doesn't come back ok, and also Bartley will be promoted after a great loan in Rangers and Sheffield Utd.
