His best position is left back. And that's where he'll play. Very strong defensively and in the air. Did hear he's not brilliant going forward but I'm fine with that. Maybe we need a defender on the flanks that is better defending than bombing forward.

He can get forward mate and pick a pass. And he ain't slow. Not handy pace wise though.

{Ed002's Note - Youri Tielemans has attracted long-term interest from Chelsea with Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus, Borussia Monchengladbach, Napoli, Spurs, Barcelona and Marseille all showing an interest in the past couple of years. Plenty of other sides will have had him scouted. Chelsea were actively speaking with his club since January 2014 through to 2016 but would have needed to send him on loan for, I imagine, at least a year. Speaking with Mourinho and another chap (with the permission of his club) he was adamant he did not want to be sent on loan - but that was a couple of years ago. Atletico spoke with Anderlecht this past summer and the player liked the idea of a move to Madrid but nothing could be resolved for a move at the time but Atletico could return in the summer if they win their appeal. The problem with a move to England is that he is still may not ready to step right in to the first team at many of the more senior clubs - but it may not stop Spurs looking to bid. It was suggested that he should look to one the "smaller" teams in one of the big leagues, with Everton given as an example but it was no more than that, an example. Interest of Marseille and Juventus has certainly moved on. Inter has discussed the player with Anderlecht recently and has put a financial proposal on the table to his agent. Milan and Roma are also showing some interest and have made that interest known. It is not out of the question that Monaco or Borussia Monchengladbach may look to him again with Monaco having approached Anderlecht after becoming concerned that the discussions regarding Ghezzal were going nowhere.}

{Ed002's Note - Kolasinac is out of contract in the summer and a number of clubs spoke to Schalke about taking him in January - right now Schalke want him to agree a new contract, particularly given the serious injury to Baba Rahmann (who they had planned on buying in the summer) but the player wants to see what options are available. Whilst he can sign a pre-contract now and there was interest in January from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus - but he wanted to hang on until he could find out what the plans are at Bayern Munich - but that has come to nothing. An agreement was reached that he would move to Milan but it was entirely dependent onthe sale of the club being resolved - which it has this week. However, in the interim, other clubs have continued to push and interest is there from Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton and Chelsea. Offers can be made through his agents and clubs can discuss matters with Schalke to whom compensation will be due but to date I am not aware that he has signed a pre-contract with anyone. What I can say is that Arsenal has made an offer which is close to double that made by Milan which was previously acceptable to him. Right now, the English sides will try as they can to strike a deal whilst Milan will look at their option - but there is no agreement with any English side at this time.}
