I heard that Arsenal is interested in CFR Cluj's goalkeeper Mario Felgueiras. I think he is a good reserve for Szczesny, with great games in Champions League against Man. U.

So glad to see a romanian posting here. I am romanian too. As for felguieras. He had some very good games. Definently better than mannone and fabianski

hey ed what's the likelihood of joel campbell being with us next season know he needs a work permit, do you think hell be able to get one and if we do will he just be loaned out again like vela? also what's the likelihood of us signing vela again he's playing well in la liga and we have a buy back option always think we should have kept him {Ed001's Note - so long as he gets the required appearances, he will be eligible for a work permit, as Costa Rica (currently anyway) are ranked high enough. I would expect that to be the likeliest option, unless he misses out on the appearances required. I can't see him being loaned out abroad again, he needs to adjust to England now. Vela is apparently not keen on a return to England, but that might change if a contract appears under his nose.}

Alisher Usmanov and an as yet unknown partner will launch a formal takeover of Arsenal football club, probably this June/July.
Apparently this has been in the pipeline for a while.
And also, supposedly, loads of people are fully aware of this, yet its been kept quiet somehow.
I cannot possibly say how I learned this, but its certainly true at this moment in time.

This will NOT Happen full stop!
Usmanov is not wanted by the board and with the money they are making selling big players and spending a 3rd of that profit on new players to build them up then sell. no way they will let that little war chest go up for sale.

Agree0 Disagree2

Could see it happening - or at least attempted. Kroenke bought Arsenal as an investment and if Usmanov offers him a sizeable profit in an expensive game he might take it. The Financial Fair Play rules might convince Silent Stan to be remain but it's iffy if they will work. Like I say, a takeover attempt wouldn't shock me.

The the 1st reply, the board will have no say on his takeover bid as they don't own shares anymore. Its purely upto kronke and if he decides yes will make a tidy 200mil profit I believe.

Can see this happening myself as usmanov has sold shares in some of his business's maybe planning to most of his time available for arsenal

Agree1 Disagree0

Every man has a price, and I suspect if offered a profit Kroenke will take the money and run - after all its not like he personally invests any energy in Arsenal is it? Sooner the better for me.

Agree1 Disagree0

Not sure why usmanov would need an 'unknown partner' when he's richer than roman. his partner in red and white is his accountant type associate and he's a billionaire as well but he reportedly is the genuine arsenal fan of the two.
usmanov should be allowed on the board as well as the arsenal project is going patiently along he's still an astute businessman and could be better used on the inside rather than cast aside

Agree1 Disagree0

I have heard the same and have been advised of the unknown partner. The bid will happen, whether Kronke will play ball is another matter entirely.

Agree0 Disagree0

You know the unnamed partner but can't spell Kroenke?
