I think when it comes to eden hazard us a arsenal fans on this blog are lil unfair on the approach of thinking wether hazard is coming to arsenal i believe its still possible i think the whole banter by the press makes the whole situation worse outside looking in . put it this way imagine if u was hazard u are highly praised by the media you have made it clear you want to come to the perm would you be silly enuff and come out and say i only want to go to a certain club i think hazard in a postion if he plays his cards right he could get a dream move on the other hand teams could loose or gain interest it could come down to the highest bidder but with hazard he has never said once this is my preferred club he just gives the press what they want to hear and to keep his options open p.s when does arsenal ever come out and say we want this player we are very careful with our aproach we have to play d game like hazard

ed,i was speaking to a mate of mine who is a season ticket holder at dourtmund..
the rumour over there is arsenal have made a substantial bid GOETZE and they are considering the offer!
i know there is the usual paper talk but have you heard anything because my friend is adamant that this is true and hes not happy..

Depends on injuries in my opinion. And also, if we did sign these great footballers,when we bought them would make a huge difference. If they had all of pre-season, great! but they wont and wenger leaves it so late they could spend 6 months adapting and then we would be in a similar position to now, I think.

I don't think we should sign Hazard, he can't make his mind up. Chelsea, Man UTD, City, Spurs. He's just an attention seeking. Not point in spending 40million on a player who dosen't want to play for us.

All we need is a good creative midfielder, to work along side Wilshere.

Don't know what everyone's problem with Song is? I think he's brilliant at going foward and decent at defeding and closing the space down in midfield.

Koscienly is going to be on of the best CB's in the world. He fast, strong and can read the game brilliantly. He's been one of Wenger's best buys. He's a real good CB and has alot of promise! He's already proven himself! Thank god we have two solid CB's, its about time.

Would love hazard...of course his mind isnt made up yet...if u had all the best clubs in the world chasing u, u would want to shop around for the best offer. If he signs for us, that means he wants to play for is.

I agree toby- besides the fact that many clubs with big money are interested, which would put wenger off anyway, I haven't liked the way he has conducted himself- if any, I would much prefer goetze or mmm, etc.

I totally agree with you, i dont think we shud buy him, not for what you said though but the fact his transfer fee will be stupid. Of course hes going to be flattered with all these clubs looking at him he is a young lad about to make the biggest move of his career he has to make sure his transfer is correct. But i do believe there are better buys for much less money than hazard, and 40 million is to much for merely 1 player when you could buy 3 that may win you an honour

If Arshavin leaves then go get hoikett, if not then forget wingers, buy poldi and then I'd like two mids and a left back, I'm not bothered about verthongen as with kos and Vermalen (Vermalen is the only man to ever frighten chuck norris) with Mertesaker to back up, we're ok for centre backs, where does vert fit in? We need a lb like tremoulinas or Cissokho and one of M'villa/bellhanda/m'bia (can play cb or cdm, is a big player for marseille though) and one of gotze/dembele/Dzagoev and I'd say we were ready for a real title bid

We really don't want this guy. He's been prostituting himself around Europe for months now. If he comes to us it will be a stepping stone again and he will do a Nasri after a couple of seasons. Is he really any good? Still unproven at the top level as well

Nasri left arsenal because he wanted to win trophies and thought that we couldnt do it. Are you saying that with hazard in our team, we still have no chance of winning anything, and therefore he would leave? Or are you saying that he would want to leave us, even if we did win with him in our team?

There is no point denying that hazard is a good player, and there is no point saying that he is only after money when he hasnt even gone anywhere yet. If he does goto Arsenal, it certainly wont be for the money. Which should tell you something.

I have to disagree with all this 'Hazard conducts himself in a bad way' He is in a completely different situation to other players as he is going to be a world beater and everyone knows he is going to be playing at a higher level than Lille can achieve any time soon. That is why i think it is acceptable for him to do what he does and look for the best deal. It is like what one of the above posters said. Whoever he signs for he will give 100% too because that will be the club he chooses.
