Good luck tonight, take no notice to what Clarence Seedorf has had to say, if Arsenal can get there game

Disregard all the mumbo jumbo players talk.

Milan have more experience compared to us.

They have History in this competition, 7 times European champions, 2 behind madrids 9.

The only reason arsenal can or will win, is due to the fact that it will be an emotional game for some players, aka henry, it will be a game which is played with heart for the young OX.

Song our CDM is in defense which means no one will be there to stop the milan midfield.

Im looking for a draw and im sure wenger is too. I am confident we can beat them at the emirates, but the quality still shines in this milan team.

Even though their group was easy, they drew against barcelona away at camp nou and lost by a single goal back in milan 2-3 and that too because of a mark van bommel own goal.

anyway i hope arsenal can win tonight...or at worst draw. Cmon gooners...RVP light it up

You look like a bit of a mug now

How was the San Siro for you then woolwich. I seem to recall two victories there last year for us. Surely the mighty goons can do it too. Opps sorry.

Flippit.

The only positive news is the fact that it should have been more. Totally & completely outclassed across the park. Wenger is showing his true class as he keeps a woeful squad alive in the Premiership and to the final 16 of the Champions League. The squad is massively outperforming and the attention should be focussed on disillusioned fans and a stingy board.

Poor recent acquisitions and an exodus of world class stars like Fabregas, Clichy and Nasri has been your undoing. How can you expect to compete at the highest level when you regard Chamakh, Arteta, Getvinho, Mertesaker, Santos, Squillacci, Alumia, Fabianski, Djourou, Rosicky, Walcott, Arshavin, Benayoun, Coquelin and even Gervinho as your squad. Sure Szczecney, Vermaelen and RVP look great, and the youngsters Gibbs, Ramsey, Oxlaide-Chamberlain and Wilshire look promising, but a squad requires strength in depth and Arsenal have lost that in recent years.

So please go ahead and boo Wenger out the door. Only after he has gone will you realise just how good he was. We want some competition in North London so don't fall any further please, we already fancy an easy 6 points this season and if you get any weaker we will have to consider QPR your replacement.

I had mentioned a few days back that madrid and barca are not interested in RVP, and today balague confirmed the same.

Its not that they dont want him, hes 29 start of next season, and he is not willing to extend his contract, as wenger cannot strenghten the squad to the level rvp wants.

As wenger said earlier himself, if he has a budget of 50 million he wont spend it on one player but 3-4 different players.

The problem is that with wilshere out, only sales and now struggling form to keep up with top 4, with wenger ruling us out of hazard sweepstakes. Its certain that RVP will look to move to win trophies.

Madrid are the only club who are monitoring his situation closely.

And in regards to the report earlier this week. He did speak to the papers, and the statement was Would you consider a move to madrid. and he replied why not.

Doesnt mean he wants to but his response should have been im at arsenal and im not thinking of madrid and whoever.

Anyway Also the Montpellier Striker is Wengers second choice striker. im not sure if that means striker off the bench or strike partner or if he has another striker in mind before girioud.

Dont be surprised if the spanish sides go for liverpool suarez. they have already criticised our fa for the treatment of suarez so wouldnt surprise me if they saw him as a cheaper alternative.

Agree0 Disagree0

No to Real. RVP would like a move to Barca but that is not going to happen methinks as they are broke.

GoonerDan {Ed027's Note - not just that look whats happend to villa, evrythig goes through messi, and rvp will probably be shoved on the left

Agree0 Disagree0

RVP going nowhere. he has never agitated for a move, feels settled in London and loves the club. The last part means little but adds to my convicyion he wont leave.

Real or Barca wont want him, so bar Italian league (Milan clubs) theres no where for him to go at this stage of his career. No point winning russian or MLS league yet, they mean nothing - its top 3 leagues and CL that has the glamour full stop.

He didn't even speak to Marca... Confirmed it himself via Twitter.

And before anyone says "well he would say that wouldn't he?"

No. He isn't $amir Na$ri.

Agree0 Disagree0

RVP is not the money grabber...he basically wants to win trophies. Im sure if wenger brings in gotze or hazard or some top level talent to confirm that we will fight for trophies i have no doubt that madrid and barca can go F themselves in ronaldos and messi's A listed part anyway.

What im afraid of is not RVP wanting a trade but him stating i will not sign an extension as i feel not enough talent is here...next thing you know wenger is shipping him out, and when wenger ships a player out, RVP will have a say. PSG? Anzhi? Malaga? NOPE it will be a big european powerhouse. Leverage RVP

Nasri was more than happy to stay and walk out on a free next season, wenger knew that we could not contend this year so instead of losing nasri rather get paid for it.

Its easy to point fingers at others, difficult to accept reality. Yes nasri is a money grabber, what about cesc? he just wanted to win, what about henry after arsenal were going youth all the time? he wanted out to win trophies.

We were here last year. Nasri said all the right things, he even said he is not signing the contract extension as he wants to see who wenger brings. Did we not love him then?

Then with one swift turn everything went sour.

I dont know why we seem to think no thats not possible when its been happening.

4 years ago my mate told me if arsenal win no trophies cesc and nasri are gone...i told him they love arsenal...now where are they?

2 years back i was told RVP will want out if we dont win anything. So am i to be ignorant again?

Wake up...stop living in a dream world.

Last year of contract means RVP has all the leverage. If wenger accepts and builds around rvp then awesome.

But be rational...has wenger ever spent money on ready talent? Potential yes.

If he gets 25 mill for RVP, he will buy some striker worth half his price and pray to god that wilshere has a killer season next year to keep us in 4th.

The arsenal case has already been sorted out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Believe me,the funds at arsenal are not foolproof.no champs league would have massive implications! much more than the board would ever admit!

Agree0 Disagree0

You gotta be joking?? The reason we ain't in any danger of winning anything is because the club is run so miserly! AFC (and the spuds) are the best run (financially) clubs in Europe, try looking torwards west London for some more likely candidates!! Egham Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah arsenal had a 'chat' with the inland revenue some months ago, which has now been resolved- probably why the name keeps coming up.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would say blackburn is 1 and my shot in the dark is liverpool john henry is playing a dangerous game taking money out of the red sox to fund liverpool/

The main reason Arsenal are constantly mentioned in relation to Rangers going into administration is because Craig Whyte purchased a very small number of shares in Arsenal some time ago and they were financed by Rangers accounts! Now they are in administration they will look at anyway possible to generate income and at 16k a share there was a substantial amount of money to be made! Now contrary to popular belief these shares were sold some time ago but the cretins in the media were unaware of this and surely assumed that Arsenal and Rangers were somehow linked and therefore would follow suit by going into administration! Arsenal have a massive property portfolio which would safeguard them from administration for a good number of years! The loss of CL football would also not have an effect on such state but would surely cut down on the already limited squad investment from the board!
