Ed002 with Adrian Rabiot rumours gathering pace. Did we give up on our previous defensive midfield targets(Khedira, Carvalho, Schnederlien, etc) or wil we stil look to sign a defensive midfielder even if we sign Rabiot?

Vargas seems to be a loan deal, surely we must start seeing some players go out the door??
Tuttosport in Italy is reporting that other sports papers La Marca and La Tercera are running the story that it is indeed a loan deal. Probably putting two and two together because the player has already spent some time loaned out to Gremio and Valencia, and maybe because his compatriot Alexis has just arrived. that said they do say that negotiations between Napoli and Arsenal are at an advanced stage

No idea--watched him in the Greek team v Costa Rica and he was decent iirc but wasn't paying a whole lot of attention.

Eduardo Vargas supposedly told his family that he's leaving for Arsenal. I don't buy it. Ed, your thoughts? Is it true? Is Arsenal interested?
