Hey Ed025 heard a rumour regarding Valencias hand has weakened due to the needing to balance the books to comply with financial fairplay regulations and also that Liverpool are now interested and insight would be much appreciated.

{Ed025's Note - valencia do have serious money issues xxc, but they have set the price for mustafi and look like they wont budge, but im sure someone will offer very near the asking price but im not sure if it will be liverpool or not...at the moment it does not look like arsenal will though mate..

What's the odds that Wenger is waiting to see how Kos and Chambers perform together before deciding on a CB, if he's happy then a forward it will be.

Hi ED's - do you know of any developments at either end of the pitch for us?

It all seems eerily quiet at the minute.

{Ed025's Note - mustafi is very much in the frame walker its just the fee thats the problem, for me a striker should be the priority but links to one seem to always hit a brick wall mate..

Really ed how comes you think a CF should priority? I personally think CB is the priority. Always look like we can score but always look like we're going to concede.

Striker has to be priority we have cb to return but what strikers do we have that will score the goals we need to win games that normally end in draws.

Both should be a priority we've been so comfortable that taking a risk one window ie lacazette/ mustafi but hey.

I'm slightly surprised we've not been linked with any potential loan moves for CBs. We've got 3 experienced CBs and 3 more inexperienced ones. Buying another CB would mean having 7 CBs in our squad, with 5 of them taking up quota spots (correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Calum Chambers no longer counts as an underage player) . Obviously I wouldn't be unhappy if we brought in a top quality CB, but if the aim is simply to buy a stopgap until we can revert to Lolo plus Per/ Gab, perhaps a loan move wouldn't be a bad option.

Get what everyone is saying but so many Games we let leads slip. Ramsey, cazorla, ozil, Alexis, giroud, ox, iwobi. all have potential to score in a game. Sac, koscielny, Gabriel, holding and chambers. Any pair from that looks likely to leak a goal from anywhere.

my head keeps hitting a brick wall, repeatedly!

various reports say Valencia have told us a price for Mustafi but we haven't gone back in - do you know if this is wide of the mark with negotiations actually ongoing? Or are we now developing other targets?

striker wise, is it the names in the papers that we are hitting walls with, or is there anyone new to throw into the mix?

{Ed025's Note - if valencia dont move then arsene could go for the guy from turkey who,s name escapes me walker, i keep hearing about the likes of lacazette being linked mate but nothing seems to come to fruition..
