Hi ed, what's the news on krychowiak. Are we still interested in him and how much would the fee be?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has sustained interest in Sevilla's Krychowiak - but he is not the first choice and they will only return to him if they cannot get the player they are looking at. An enquiry from Southampton was rebuffed although the amount of money theu suggested was well below the asking price in any case. Right now no one has made an offer for him according to Sevilla and I suspect he will stay there.}

Just putting two and two together, assuming Carvalho is the first choice, this suggests that Arsene is content to have Coquelin and Arteta as first/second choices through to at least January?

Big assumption, with wenger it might be someone off the radar like a wanyam or mccarthy, we sem to never know until we know.

When they come their mentioned briefly and next thing you know their in the shirt haing their photo taken with Arsene signed sealed delivered, the more reported the rumour the less likely it is to be true.

I agree with that G62. The problem with journalism now is that they get hits for every link clicked and advertising money. You get for example " Spanish Giants chief exec flys in to London for showdown talks for exciting goal machine" and when you click on it the reality is that someone from real sociadad has inquired about Joel Campbell . There seems to be very few journalists worth their salt these days and every one from man to his dog wants a piece. It's all part of the fake BS we live in these days

The Beeb had a really bad one a month back, BG82. It read, "Vidal joins Barcelona". This was at the time when the big transfer rumour was Arturo Vidal, however, obviously he had not joined Barca and it was infact a young Spanish winger. So it was in no way false, but as soon as you clicked on the article, you knew that it was clickbait.

The truth is very hard to come by in transfer windows these days and even harder to come by with a club like arsenal who keep their cards close to their chest

Simples really, just about using a bit of common sense

Apparently rangers are after a loan deal from arsenal this season heard it could either be zealem or silva i highly doubt it as there both above the sc in my opinion any ideas who it could be?

Wont be silva he's away to bolton.gedion zelalem is being tipped for a move and a wouldn't say he's above the sc i'm sure it would be a good experience and more competitive than reserve league

The reports suggest it's Zealalem with Silva joining Bolton.

Sounds like he's at Murray Park talking with W&W. He probably is way too talented for the SC, but there's few teams where you can get to play in front of 50k people every second week and have the added pressure of having to win every match without fail. If Wenger feels W&W have Rangers playing attacking football then he might learn more there, both on and off the park, than playing U21 level? Thoughts?

Wellington Silva has moved to Bolton on loan.

Zelalem is likely, they could use a player who'd add some class and he could use game time, albeit at a lower level.
Win win.

As a Rangers Fan 1st & an Arsenal Fan 2nd I'm excited about this move. We are playing Gung ho football & things are exciting around ibrox for all the right reasons for the 1st time in along time. With Cups etc the lad could play in an Old Firm this season you just don't know. The Stadium is packed to the Rafters morale is high now is a good time to join Rangers. Zelalem may be above the Scottish Championship but he's certainly not above Rangers. If he stays away from Injury then this will be a huge success for both clubs I feel.

In that case i can't wait to see the young lad run out at ibrox think he's a fantastic young player surprised he's not had more chances at arsenal imo

Is Benzema our main striker target now, and have we bid for him yet?

Hi Ed,

Obviously a striker is the priority, and today Zlatan has been mentioned... Don't see it happening, but could you shed any light on his situation? Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he is available and his agent held talks with Man Utd a while back regarding a transfer there. I do not know of any interest from Arsenal.}
