He's never had any real money to spend, but i suppose you could say that about Wenger as well.

Bad result after bad result. And i blame Wenger and the board specially.
The team is simply not good enough. Main problem for me to solve in the summer: creative midfielder (former fabregas position). No connection whatsoever between midfield and wingers and strikers. No surprise. Fabregas always left suddenly his position to appear by surprise in a place you can score or produce. Now player in CAM, respect too much the position.
Ramsey and Rosicky is the difference. Not good passes, no surprise in their movements. I would sell both of them.
Wingers can create danger, because some things are failing. Today Vermaelen on offense, stayed on Arteta's side, when actually he has to good behind Gervinho's back and take the defender, so that gervinho can play 1 on 1. That didn't happen, Gervinho was always against 2 players. Like this is imposible. More difficult when you have players like Walcott, with no tribbling abilities, no passing abilities, no ballcontrol.
I people boo Arshavin, the only player in the squad with football IQ, its unbelievable. He doesnt play, and Wenger does the same thing over and over. Walcott for Ox, Ox for Walcott, Ramsey for Rosicky and viceversa. !! He repeats the same over and over and it doesnt work! Thats the meaning of crazy for me. He played Henry when he knew he was for little time, instead of giving confidence to Arshavin vs Blackburn.
Im from Argentina, but i always followed Arsenal, because of their football IQ, the way they manage the team. (and now, cause im 23, watch little of Henry, Pires, etc).
Chamack? Park? I dont care about those players. The problem is on the first team. 4 3 3, with Ramsey or Rosicky in CAM, NO! Until you get a good creative midfielder at least play 4 4 2, with RVP Arshavin. Try something new!!
No Ramsey, No Walcott, No Djourou. Elite CAM, Hazard, and BACKUP striker if you RVP stays. Not elite striker, back up (like M. Suarez). And a tough ugly Fullback, like Samba, one that goes crazy on free kicks both on defense and offense.
Arsenal dont need Hazard? Of course they do, trading Walcott, and having hazard and Ox on the wings, Gervinho off the bench, and Ryo starting in carling and FA. Stop losing prority players like Mata, and Alvarez (i know this player of course and would have been great in CAM). Not again with Hazard.
And i dont sell Arshavin. I play him on offense, not defending Valencia on LB position! Of course he's gonna loose! Put Messi there and he losses too.
I think that's all i wanted to say, sorry for my English,

Cheers!

Believable26 Unbelievable5

Sorry i should have read the post before submiting:

* wingers CANTT create danger
* Vermaelen has to GO (not good) behind Gervinho
*AND people boo AA23

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermaelen has to go???? what are you smoking lol

Agree0 Disagree0

No!! Why would Vermealen have to go?? Where did i put that? I just pointed a tactic mistake by him playing in LB which is not his main position! Sweet Jesus, i though i had left no room for interpretation. Let me put it like this: Vermealen is one of the best defenders, IN THE WORLD, one oft he few things right in Arsenal, so NO he doesnt have to go.....

Agree0 Disagree0

I meant, has to go, as in "has to run behind Gervinho's back, to absorb a defender, and let Gervinho play one on one so he can make a difference, sorry if i didnt make that clear.
He doesnt have to go from the team of course

Agree0 Disagree0

COMPLETELY AGREE with you here... Especially on the Arshavin point. He still has stuff to give and if he were playing as consistently as Ramsey has been, we would be much better than where we are right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah yes i see i misunderstood what u meant! i agree with most of this tbh! however atm it seems he has no choice but to play him there, i for one dont want us to sack arsene but it baffles me why we didnt sign a lb in january

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't agree with you only for Ramsey. I think he will be a great player, but for now we need desperetly one great CAM. Without Fabregas we are so poor...

Agree0 Disagree0

I also agree that arshavin should stay, he just needs to regain confidence. We won't get Hazard or Goetze cos that would waste our entire transfer budget. Alternatives are Shinji Kagawa (Bor. Dortmund) and Christian Eriksen (Ajax) they both have good number of assists (10 or more this season) and can provide some goals (mainly Kagawa) and they won't cost as much as Hazard or Goetze.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not that i want A Wenger out. It's just that i dont understand some attitudes he has about choosing starters, making subtitutions. I think that at some point you have to adapt to the situation. Some choices are clearly not working and yet he does it over and over. For me this is crazy and so i loose faith on him a little. But its sad since he's been for so long, i wish he could change the situation, but i dont see self critisism of him, not trying ideas.
About Ramsey, i know he's young, but i really dont see nothing about him: movements, passing, vision, nothing. Rosicky little more vision but not very accurate. I dont care if they make one or two great games, i base my opinion on the overall matches i see. And its not very great. The same as Walcott, sometimes he plays a good game, and suddenly he's the best, everybody was wrong about him, NO, it doesnt work like that. Its about the player characteristics, the overall. Walcott would be great in a team that plays counterattack, with more space on offense. Arsenal is the opposite, therefor in the mayority of games, he wont create many danger.
About transfers, i know Hazard is spensive, and yes maybe there are better choices, i hope scouts got it right. I know obviously more about argentinean players, for instance Dzagoev, heard a lot, but never saw him play, so i dont want to comment. I saw that Ed22 i think, did something about player profiles, i think thats a great idea, so u can know more what player can suit Arsenal comparing style of play, etc. I can mostly talk about some Arg player, or from serie a, bbva or barclays. Bundes little.
Its about learning more about football for me, more knowledge, more fun talking about it.

By the way im Nico, dont know why the name didnt appear on the long comment i made.

Best thing from today's game?
Hopefully Ramsey is injured........

Believable20 Unbelievable23

Great news. lets hope hes done his knees in. one of the worst players i have ever seen. whether thats because of the injury or not idk. but he literally can not play football. he makes denilson look like vieira and diaby look like zidane.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think thats harsh, he clearly needs to be rested, but under more experienced playermakers he looked quality, can't run the centre yet- thats not his fault though. He aint ready to take that responsibility

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey needs to be rested?
He is 21 and should easily be able and should want to play 2/3 times a week!
Especially when he is on £50k plus a week.
He is rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Well yea he does need to be rested, he has been really thrown in the deep end after a huge injury. he is 21 i think people are expecting far too much

D16

Agree0 Disagree0

He's also always showed 100% commitment to the club, sayin that about someone who's been out for a year with a double compound fracture is out of order, show some loyalty.
Al

Agree0 Disagree0

Your all obviously spuds on a wind up, if not your a disgrase to Arsenal football club.
Hes a bloody kid!

A GOONER

Agree0 Disagree0

To hope anyone is injured just amazes me, let alone a player for our own club. That said I do not believe that Ramsey has the potential to be a great and certainly won't be anytime soon. You look at player like Ozil, Muller, Sahin, Gotze they all played at a high level at Ramsey's age or before Ramsey's age. I think the UK need to take a very close look at the German youth system, they play great attractive football and are good at it, I have a feeling they will win the Euros.

Some of you lot are idiots! ramsey was excellent 1st half of the season and clearly needs a rest now , he was motm against england at wembley and drew huge praise , get off his back hes only 21 and with a career threatening injury not that long behind him , not his fault he aint in cescs class but who is?! at least he gives his all unlike arshavin! {Ed027's Note - i agree

Agree0 Disagree0

Stupid c**t!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your a digrace to hope this of ramsey.
just 1 more coward that would not leave a name.

Any one else think Gomis would be a good option? Experienced, strong, quick and a superb finisher. Possibly relatively cheap also.

Amy.

Believable11 Unbelievable17

Will cost u £20+ so 4get it

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy/gal (im all equal oppourtunities and stuff me)above me is right about the price mate, we we're interested him a while back, but if I remember wenger wouldn't pay like £8m for him, then the next seasons he hit form and left Saint Ettienne for Lyon (not sure of the price sorry, was around £14 I think) same with his compatriot matuidi but he went to Psg earlier this year
